As for myself, excited to be down another 1.5lbs. It was a nice surprise! It’s only taken 4.5 months to loose 10lbs 🤦🏼*♀️

Zuez you on board?
Wait...wait..... Is 225 for reps too much?
We can go 185 or something for you..?
Let's do this.
Both competitors have to settle on weight, and both do same weight.
Or we can go doubles on pause
Only rules
1) ass flat
2) touch chest, no bounce
3) lock out rep
Same as any powelift benching.Last edited by Couchlockd; 09-14-2018 at 05:05 PM.

Currently I'm eating my way through Texas. I *was* down about 10 pounds when i left. I was stuck at the airport overnight, which didn't help, but now I'm ordering smoked sausage and brisket by the pound from every roadside bbq joint I see. Protein won't be the macro I'm worried about. I'll be in Austin by late tonight for 3 days, conveniently located near a gym. So while I've been eating a lot, I've only missed 1 day of training.
Side note: looks like Pluto might become a planet again. Good to know.
Life tip: Everyone, if possible, call your mom(s) today and say hi. They'll appreciate it, mine did.
Pro-tip: traveling with gear... TSA don't give a shit as evidenced by my random bag search. 'Pucker factor' was high as i searched for the vial-filled sock in my mess kit. Cycle continues, your luck may vary.
Keep up the good work everyone, and eat well. I'll eat bad for all of us.
Best,
C-

Hey zues?
Cape is serious about the bench off.
I'm serious about setting it up and judging.
You were seriously calling him out.
I think it's time to put up or shut up for real
If you don't acknowledge this at least with a yes or no, I'd be damned shamed to hold my head high around here if I were you.
If you want I can get a female member 18 pounds lighter than you from another forum to go against you with 225 for reps.
Come on zues, put this "fat school girl" cape to shame..

Haha, damn Cape. Lol!

Had lunch with my mom today.[/QUOTE
Atta boy.
Gettings from Austin's planet fitness.
Travel Tip: When you're in Texas, don't joke about high school football... seriously, don't. According to the posted sign, they don't call 911 down here.
Thanks: To the guys at Cooper's old time BBQ... You guys killed it.

I'm not the one talking tuff.
And I'm not in this.
On another forum, a similar situation took place, and I set up a comp like this and both competitors came out winners.
But if I must, gimme 10 days, getting carpal tunnel release Thursday.
I just need a few days after to let wound heal

Well to be fair Couch didn’t call me a fat school girl. Or a cunt. Then call me a keyboard warrior.
Well this will pull us all out from behind the keyboard into reality. Although I think pictures do that as well. So to be clear this isn’t just talking the talk. It’s walking the walk too. We will wait and see how it all shakes out. Zeus has been lurking so I know he’s seen the challenge. But no word. Everybody is a bad ass until it’s time to do bad ass shit.Last edited by Capebuffalo; 09-16-2018 at 10:21 AM.

Tonights training
Seated DB press, new angle as upright as possible, 50x8, 5
Pullups +15x16, close grip underhand +15x11
Seated db laterals 20x26 (+3 rep PR) drop 12.5x8 drop 8x8
Tricep cable pushdown 46x6 drop 32x5 drop 18x6
Standing calf raise 115x20 RP 8 RP 6
Seated calf raise 40x30 RP 12 RP 8
Shit sleep, about 4 hours. Liked the db press angle, the lower angle got upper chest involved. A bit trickier to get DBs up but once they do there's less of a grind on the first rep. Added tri pushdowns on vertical upper body day since I need some extra tricep work. Got a good burnout from the dropsets, right tricep long head cramped when I flexed hard afterwards. Focusing more on contractions for calf raises though I may even lower weight. I always end up beating the book but having to pull back on calf work since form gets compromised but overall in the long term I end up doing perfect contractions with weights that used to be grinds. I think I need this for calves I am genetically disadvantaged in this regard and this has worked in the past.

I'm about to turn 29 this month and I've just been asked if I'm over 18. Was that a compliment? Could feel flattered lol.
Back tonight.
