Got the J&J while visiting Mom and Dad a couple of months back. As we needed to have an EU valid Covidpass to travel easy in Europe we had to redo our vaccinations here (which we did not know) so we are double vaccinated. Wife reacted pretty badly second time around for about 24h but after that it was like nothing happened.

I'm unvaccinated and I'll never let them jab me with that poison. I have until Sept 30th to get both jabs or face termination at work, but I'm not going to do it. I'm claiming a religious exemption.

No bad sides for me, just some fatigue. I've heard that some people run a low grade fever and fatigue with either vaccine, but it passes in 24 hours or so

Is it just Pfizer and possibly Moderna that require the booster (total of 3) or does the J&J require an additional injection?

Ran into my cardiologist recently at the grocery and we were shooting sh!t while in the line. I asked him did he think it would eventually become part of the annual flu shot. His thoughts were at the rate it mutates and spins off variants, it will probably be a while before they either predict it or come up with a vaccine that will " cover all the bases".

After that, I pushed the conversation towards firearms. Figure he deals with enough medical stuff as it is.

There’s myocardial risks associated with the flu vaccine as well. The media is running with it. If you google it, there is a ton of information. Not trying to sway either way, just addressing the concern. I gave in too, between my wife, my mom and my oncologist, I had enough… It was fine

Use the church that the LAFD is using for religious exemptions (not joking, it’s called Grace Community Church).

I'd roll with it, Moose. You know how hard it is to get actual news anymore. What they put out is closer to a soap opera than information....they gotta get that viewing audience tally up so they can draw more companies buying promo time. Out of the total number of people vaccinated, myocarditis and pericarditis occurrences seem to be a very low portion.

I'll put it to you this way, I've had just about everything go wrong with my heart that could possibly go wrong(atrial fibrillation, cardiomyopathy, angina, coagulation defects, congestive heart failure, hypertension, left bundle branch block, mitral valve disorder, and palpitations) and I took the Pfizer vaccine.

LOL, the pisser is the original cause of my heart problems was....a virus.

Edit: I will say my main reason for getting the vaccine is because of the list of active problems and.........my wife.

I got Moderna in December. No side effects. There is no good reason to not be vaccinated. And yes, I've been putting people with COVID in body bags for like 18 months now.
People who ask stupid shit like "so where are the bodies?"--they're in the morgue. And our morgue is full. We're having to order a fucking refrigerated truck to park behind the hospital to store the extra bodies.

Absolutely. There's got to be a little leeway for medical conditions and a man keeping certifications he needs for his business. Especially when you're receiving conflicting opinions.

    Pfizer x 2

Absolutely no side effect/s from "whatever it was" they injected me with. For years and years I took the standard flu vaccine, and frequently I felt a bit ill afterwards, with mild cold/flu symptoms, but with the Covid vaccine; nothing.

I was also recently traveling across Europe (but by car) and was never once asked to produce my Covid passport / proof of vaccination.

Glad your doing well enough. It would be nice if there was more research before we had to get it but it is what it is. My job is like the NFL, they aren’t making us get it but the policies favor those who did get it.

I really hope COVID improves soon im sick of it dividing people. I went to a bar on Friday with co workers and bartender asked why I wasn’t wearing a mask. Every other bar I’ve been to has no masks but apparently at this bar you are supposed to wear a mask in and then take it off as soon as you order? WTF I thought the whole point of me getting shots was to ditch the darned masks?

Anyways I’m done venting, glad you are doing well enough. Which brand shot did you get? Moderna ive heard more complaints of fatigue after 1st shot snd Pfizer mostly after 2nd shot.

I've had one Pfizer shot. Getting my 2nd one this week. Didn't have a bad reaction to the first one.

Only got the vaccine for free travel around Europe.
