How many wins in row is that for Parra?
-
08-14-2009, 07:14 AM #522
Just noticed that Prince Fielder is tied with Pujols for the most RBI's in MLB.

What a first inning by the Brewers yesterday against the Astros...eight runs. Gallardo finally getting some of the run support he deserves. Nice win.
-
08-15-2009, 11:13 AM #524
Braun with two home runs to move him up to 25 for the year.
-
08-15-2009, 11:31 AM #525
what are they doing trying to win....2 in a row....and winning after the allstar break? wtf?

Brewers need to get another streak going against the Pirates again.
-
08-17-2009, 08:05 PM #529
Villanueva sucked in the bullpen and even sucks worse as a starter. The Pirates are minor league ball team for Christ's sake!
-
08-19-2009, 10:02 PM #530
Brewers lost their third straight to the Pirates. Looks like our owner took the money and ran.
-
08-20-2009, 08:43 AM #531
I wonder how big the loss of pitching coach Mike Maddux was?
-
08-21-2009, 02:57 PM #532
The only way the Brewers don't lose is if they have an off day like last night.
-
08-22-2009, 06:31 AM #533
Prince is leading the Majors with 108 RBI's. Brewers finally get a win over the Nationals.
-
08-23-2009, 06:48 AM #534
Nice save by Hoffman after facing the Nationals 2-4 hitters in the nineth inning.
-
08-23-2009, 09:40 AM #535
9 games out of first......thank god for football season
-
08-23-2009, 09:45 AM #536
I hope they can at least finish the season with a .500 record.
-
08-23-2009, 02:23 PM #537
It appears Parra's luck has ran out...two straight losses.
-
08-23-2009, 03:09 PM #538
10 games behind the Cardinals if the Cards beat the Padres tonight.
-
08-26-2009, 07:17 AM #539
Could Weeks really being hitting any better than Lopez right now? I wonder how big of a loss Weeks has been since Lopez joined the team?
-
08-27-2009, 07:16 AM #540
Escobar with three errors already? I thought he was supposed to be gold glove quality?
-
08-27-2009, 09:26 AM #541
I wonder where JJ Hardy will end up next season?
-
08-28-2009, 06:41 AM #542
Prince has one more home run than he did for season last year.
-
08-28-2009, 08:20 AM #543
Since it is the only thing going for the Brewers right now, I hope Prince catches fire and gets to the 50 home run mark before the end of the season.
-
08-29-2009, 10:18 AM #544
The Brewers continue their winning streak at home against the Pirates. I think they may have tied a ML record with that win.
-
08-30-2009, 10:05 AM #545
Brewers pick another win against the Pirates at home last night. Escobar has been hitting well since replacing Hardy. With Hardy, Cameron, and Kendall gone next season, that should free up some team salary to sign another starting pitcher.
-
08-31-2009, 09:26 AM #546
Hoffman is just one save away from 30 after last night against the Pirates.
-
09-01-2009, 11:37 AM #547
I'd say it's time to play spoilers against the Cards but everyone is so far behind them, it doesn't really matter that much.
-
09-02-2009, 06:37 AM #548
JJ Hardy is back and I must ask...what is the point? Season is over.
-
09-03-2009, 07:12 AM #549
Bush vs. Carpenter...we all knew how that would turn out.
-
09-03-2009, 08:10 PM #550
Congrats to Trevor Hoffman, picking up his 30th save of the season. If Gallardo got Parra's early run support, he would be a 20 game winner. Gallardo has carried on Sheets curse.
-
09-05-2009, 08:53 PM #551
Macha is really conservative about sending runners on steals.
-
09-06-2009, 10:17 AM #552
Gallardo with more Ben Sheets run support yesterday. The curse continues.
-
09-07-2009, 02:58 PM #553
The Cards Carpenter pitches a one-hitter at Miller Park today.
-
09-11-2009, 10:32 AM #554
I'd like Macha to be more aggressive with base stealing if he is going to stick around for another year. With our terrible starting pitching, we need to score more runs.
-
09-12-2009, 07:01 AM #555
Brewers finally pick up a win against the Diamondbacks and Braun is now one home run away from 30.
-
09-13-2009, 06:28 AM #556
Nice game by Bush with 11K's against the Diamondbacks. McGehee was 4-5 with two home runs and six RBI's. Gamel is going to have a hard time getting third base next season.
-
09-15-2009, 10:14 AM #557
Nice three game sweep of the Diamondbacks on Sunday. Fielder one home run of forty.
-
09-15-2009, 10:46 AM #558
Nice pitching by Suppan wasted by another time the Brewers lineup gets shut out. There have been too many this season.
-
09-16-2009, 09:21 AM #559
Kendall is supposed to handle the pitching staff so well. We have the worst ERA in MLB for starting pitchers. The love affair with Kendall needs to be put to rest.
-
09-17-2009, 09:04 AM #560
Looper has to be the luckiest pitcher on the Brewers staff. Almost everytime he pitches, the Brewers give their best early run support. 13 wins and 6 losses.
