I try to stay out of the lounge, so I missed the bus on this one. Q&A and PCT seems to be where people need the most help. So, I'll chime in late here.
1,My child hood was not very good, as I was abused alot.I do not even talk to my mother to this day.
2,My astrological sign Cancer.I seem to get along with just about anyone.
3,I have 2 years of mechanical engineering beyond trade school.Wish I stayed with that, but things very rarely go as planned.
4,Around 23, if I remember correctly, I was to enter my 1st natural BB contest, when my problems with my knees forever changed that.
5,I have been married twice and have two great kids from the first marriage. A daughter, 16, and my son, 14.
6,Didn't run any gear until my late 20's, early 30's.
7,I love movies, and watch them alot. It's how I unplug at the very end of the day.
8,Owned a very small gym, private, and trained people that needed help in BB. This was very for filling for myself. I try to help others, as I try to do here now.
9,Have read every single BB book that came to print. I saw Arnold's book come out in the late 70's. Still amazes me to this day. Lost most of them in a house fire in the 90's.
10,I get very bogged down with work sometimes, and miss days either at the gym, or on this forum. I hate when that happens since I need to do both.
11,I am completely self educated in respect to this subject of AAS, as there were not any books available on this subject when I started training. But I love books, and read them constantly.
Just a rough outline of myself.

Just child abuse from my mother.
I was beaten alot needlessly.
Yes, I do believe in astrology and find that the universe is just an incredible discussion in itself.
I actually got polio from a vaccination as a child. Then after all the wear and tear on them, they started getting Osteoarthritis.. By the time I was 40, they were bone on bone. They were replaced late last year and then the other early this year.
My job is running a very successful bicycle store.I run that, and am head mechanic, wheel builder, and the technical stuff. Gets busy as hell and there is an amazing amount of money being made there. It is right next to a awesome gym, so that is convenient. It pays the bills, and have ties to other stores and distributors in the US.I want to vistit Lance Armstrong's store in TX.(YES, I have met Lance).

Here's some pics of the knee surgery.I rehabbed myself. It was t tough go of things, but life seems to be that way.The new ones are made of titanium, and work great. That's how I thought up my user name. Airport security is not happy, do to the fact they set off the metal detectors.

For the record..... the incision looks really good LOL! Did your doc try the synvisc injections first? You're rally young for a knee replacement..... let alone 2. It's a shame..... they need to be revised every 10 years or so for someone who's on a less active side.

I'm not sure.

I'm working on getting my full range ow motion back.

He's not supposed to do ANY heavy lifting with the legs...... When you have a knee replacement they give you a titanium femoral componant..... and tibial componant..... and then a poly plastic articular surface.(between the two metal pieces)
The more active you are..... the faster you wear out the plastic between the metal. Heavy weights are a NONO.....

Oh and I forgot.... you also get a poly plastic patella (knee cap)

I ride my bicycle, and my legs blow right up.
I think it's muscle memory from the BB days.
I also raced professionally in cycling, that was when my thighs were the largest.
Yes. I can squat.(used to be able to do 400 lbs X 10 reps).
That was in my early 20's.
I figure I'll need them serviced every 5 years in someone like myself.
It's worth it.

HAZ, I fought so hard to get these done.
I'm 44 now, so I fought for 4 years with the doctor, due to the fact that the insurance company didn't want to pay for it.
Said I was to young.
My doctor used to work with the another doctor that was the New England's Patriots orthopedic surgeon.
They shared an office together.
Met alot of football players, and have some cool autographs around here some where.
They worked together.
He is a great doctor, and did an incredible job.

I don't want to scare you LOL but here's a story from a month or so ago.....
I know most of the reps in my territory for Zimmer,Biomet, Stryker, J&J.... ETC..... I found out from someone who works at a hospital I was at that a doctor was doing a right knee replacement and he put in "left knee" implants! The rep for the company is the one who goes into the hallway and gets the implant..... opens it..... and gives it to the circulating nurse whom opens the "sterile" package. Well..... the rep never showed the doctor and confirmed the implant specs with him..... resulting in the wrong implants being implanted. It's like walking with the left shoe on your right foot..... everything will also wear down faster. Two weeks post op and the doc still didn't notify the patient!
Every surgery i'm in I treat as if it was my familly on the table...... I just don't know where some peoples heads are sometimes......
~Haz~
-
Do you know how hard that implant is to get out after it is cemented in?
Man. What a fvcking nightmare.
As long as the metal NEVER touches, the most you need is to get the plastic changed out.
No big deal.
But, the implants themselves?
I don't like to sue people, but I would sue for that!
Man, I feel so bad for that person.
What a painful surgery for anyone to go through.
That is terrible HAZ.
Thank god mine were put in correctly.

Yeah man..... bad deal for sure. I've heard a couple stories like that too......
The actual surgery is pretty interesting to watch..... it's really incredible to see how they perform something like that. The hip replacements aren't as "fun" to watch..... especially the new minimally invasive ones they are doing now.....
