Can I ask what job you took over there? How did the Thurs. night party go?
-

finance manager.
thurs night party was sober for me.... had to work out this morning.... and no women showed up either. I would have settled for six chinese girls, but they didn't show up either. Hung out til almost midnight and then crashed.
bought some taliban money for my daughter.... one of each denomination encased in plastic....only cost me a buck.... i figure she'll take to show n tell at school and tell her mates her dad is helping to keep the taliban away (indirectly)

I was at the PX today, and this butchey lookin female pulled up along side me at the next register. I started looking at her, thinking she aint that bad really.... no horrible features on her face, can almost see some tits, doesn't look fat.... I could probably do something with that.... and then I realized i was staring at her for waaay too long, so she looks at me, like she knew what I was thinking, and I'm thinking ho shiit! WTF am I doing!!!!!

Finally got around to uploading the pics from the Panjir Valley Trip. We had to inspect a micro hydro power station that a sub contractor built on our behalf. It was snowing that day. After, we stopped off for some Kabobs for a late lunch. The inspection takes 20 minutes. The trip is all day

well, I'm not drinking, so can't get sh1t faced.
probably going to eggers tomorrow, then to chicken street for soveigners and trinkets. I'm going to get a big block of taliban money and ship it home. When we have our cabin party, I'll have "millions" of Taliban dollars, and throw it around like some kind of ticker tape parade on new years eve. I hear the stuff is great for lighting fires with too.

no sh1t? i hope this doesn't sound gay, but that guy is fuggin hot! singing i mean. The song I really like is FEVER... damm! you ever hear it? and then Moondance is over the top too.
he has a Sinatra style, but Sinatra doesn't have the talent this kid has.
and i'm going to show my cards a little, but I absolutely LOVE big band swing... i'm thinking the Glen Miller Tribute band.
but for now, i'll content myself with listening to the muslims sing over thier PA systems attached to the outside of their mosques.

F that. You have internet , you have youtube here you go enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q12oOIYHVDA !

i was just kidding there! i really have a few dozen of his mp3's on my ipod i listen to.
in fact, i have about 14,000 songs on my hard drive, so music is no problem.
so go to the show and enjoy. i'm thinking tickets were pretty expensive. was it a birthday present or something?

I'm thinking pricey at probably $85 a pop or more?
yeah, he may love ya, but yer still gonna have to earn those tickets later on that night! =)
-
-
03-26-2011, 07:23 AM #348
that's pretty close to what I was thinking.... however, I was also thinking the $85 to be the ones waaay in the back behind the pole
but I'm a cheap bastad! I usually wait for a concert to hit the Fat Cat in Modesto costing at most $20 ea. Bands that go there are like Pat Travers, Y&T, FogHat. then I get in the balcony overlooking the stage, not more than 30 feet from the band, AND right next to the bar!

big wedding?
-
No. Just close family and friends.
-
03-26-2011, 11:03 AM #358
that's cool. not a big wedding fan myself either. Too friggin expensive for one... know what I mean?
and the other thing? I have a smaller family, and not that many friends, so im not sure how to have a big wedding, unless i advertise in the paper.... "free beer"

my best friend had a smaller wedding in Tx, then two weeks later a huge wedding, limo's, photographers, video photographers, catering, flowers, the whole shebang. i'm glad it was him and not me...
so that's pretty cool your family is ok with this.... you already know that there are a lot of families that would have a heart attack just thinking about it. Sh1t, my father was the typical "Archie Bunker" bigot type, and he probably disown my asss if i were gay. I think a reservation I would have if one of my kids were gay would be more of a grandparent wanting a same DNA grandkid. It's a pretty selfish concern, true. And I think another concern would be safety since I know coming out makes you a target. But I'm remembering all the grief I saw when some guys clearly gay in highschool were tormented. Maybe it aint that way anymore, but I doubt it. If I had to guess, I'd guess being gay still means risking your safety and dignity from harrassment. Am i right?
