Well the good news is that I did get laid last night. All though I am not certain the Vette had anything to do with it (she did love the car however....) Nice little 29 year old. Half black/half Puerto rican. 5'2 and thick as a brick.

well she is still here. Found a freaking nester alright. I've tried everything to get her out of here. I been rude, crazy etc etc. I even was out washing the vette and I came in dripping with sweat and tried to wipe my sweat all over her trying to gross her out....and she just laughed and said she liked it! WTF!!! I def dont mind hanging out and she is nice and kind of hot, but this is the last thing I want right now....she is already saying she wants to leave a toothbrush here and some clothes....shit. Bigdog, regarding your new garage mate ... If it hasn't been done, look into getting a program tuner, like Diablo, and possibly a cold air intake setup. I did that on my LS2 GTO and was not only amazed with the power it added, but also with the improvedgas mileage.

Well, I am not going to go all nuts upgrading just yet. The first 2 things I want to get is new Exhaust and red calipers for my brakes. Question----would upgrades such as this void my warrenty that I have. The Vette was certified by GM and I have bumper to bumber for 12 months or 12K miles. I asked my gearhear friends on FB what exhaust to get. (none have Vettes.....so I am not sure their recs would be the best). Was on a Vette form and most seem to be partial to Corsa or Borla. What do you think ?

Brake calipers wont void anything because you just paint them or get them powder coated. DONT spend big money on different calipers. Waste of money unless you are going to be doing course racing and then you need to spend like $3K

You will have to check on the exhaust but probably wont effect the warranty. Careful though, some dont sound that good. Best place is check out the vet forums or go to a Vet meet and see how they sound. Every car is different and it depends on how the engine is set up, built and if it has headers or stock manifolds.

Go on LS1TECH.com and ask. There is a lot of people on there with Vettes. I love my MagnaSlow, but it's nothing like a Vette needs.

I wish I would have just got the standard exhaust option when I ordered my car, as that NPP exhaust option only added 6hp (430 to 436), and it was some ridiculous amount like $1,800. Knowing what I know now, I would have put that money into a Corsa system and probably pulled another 20+ HP. Can't lose with Borla either, just whatever you prefer.
