Carb cycling is a good plan mate, as long as you have your workouts geared around the correct days.

BTW, I have chest DOMS today!
Lol. Good. I'm glad you've discovered DOMs now!
Yea going to train my heaviest on Monday, say after high. Then volume workouts the rest.

Long bank holiday weekend, sunburn, BBQ and protein cakes!

I love having a friend with her own baking company. She's decided to try market a bodybuilders range of high protein cakes/bars/muffins/puddings !
    I get to taste test!

It's going good man. Carb cycling these last few weeks to try a last effort of ditching some BF. definitely a big improvement. I've gained some good size on my back, width is considerably bigger. Hoping to finish strong now.

    Yourself?

Well I think I'm in for a strong finish, I wish I had cycled carbs with this protocol from the start, I have had too many mishaps to win the comp though, just so long as I can see an improvement in myself I will be happy with that as an outcome, I came into this a bit half hearted after the last comp, so it took me a little while to get up to speed.

I think it will be interesting to see how many post final pictures.

Yea I think we've had a few drop out, and I haven't seen that many logs compared to those that started. I'm finishing this comp, not fussed about where I place if I'm honest, I know others have done tremendously well!
I'm only really a few days into carb cycling, it's too little too late, but I'm hoping it'll help me cut another 8lbs or so before the comp finishes! Going at this hard to try finish strong!

First week of Carb Cycling smashed and I finally broke that damn 250lb barrier, weighed in this morning at 248.8! I had pretty much been stuck around 250-251 for almost 10 days. I thought that number was going to be my sticking point! Great weather down this way right now, so soaking up the sun and getting my bronze on before the final pictures!

Hah, no! Yesterday was 2nd Medium Carb day. High carb is sunday. Found a new love for cottage cheese and chicken mixed together, yum!

I got sunburn on the 10min walk to the gym today... its freaking insane. Cheaper than the sunbeds though, so no complaints! Whats your address buddy? I think I still have some of that tinted moisturizer left, I'll send it to you!

Chilling out in the garden today, amazing sunshine. Had a banging back/shoulder workout this morning. Left me feeling like my skin was going to rip, the pump was that good!

Bodyfat has dropped markedly in the 2 weeks of carb cycling, which is a good sign! I'm not even doing cardio, seems I'm responding well too it. So ill save the cardio for when it plateaus !!

    Fvck you!

It's going well brother, I'm enjoying it. This first few weeks have been fun discovering different meals and combinations to make it fit. Protein and fat values can be fluid if I want to make minor changes to the meat, or what I'm having. The only constant is the carbs.

Plus it's really working well, my body has begun to responding instantly

Hah, I feel my carb cycle is too little too late regarding the competition, there's some strong competitors. I'm just hoping that others notice a difference!
It appeared when I started this competition that I was extremely optimistic with my bodyfat %, I was really shocked when I discovered it. I have lost so far around 8%, hoping to lose another 1-2% before we have to submit pictures.

Smashed this gym this morning with Upper Power PHAT. Had a bit too much caffeine so felt like a unit until I started to come down, then I felt sick! Just had my PWO tuna and eggs. Really noticed some changes these last few weeks with a diet change up.

Final week now, good luck to those that are still in this!

Hit legs hard this morning, felt a bit fatigued during my first exercise, but picked up the intensity afterwards! Got a real pump on and the 15min walk home felt like hell!

Cooking up another crock-pot of chicken&Broccoli - Im really loving this recipe, I feel todays version may be a little spicy though, as the lid fell off my chilli flakes and I emptied half the pot in there... oh well, spice is good right? Maybe it'll kick up the thermogenics a little and help strip some more!

Its my own, its nothing special or amazing. I put 1kg of chicken, 1kg broccoli, 500g spinach into a crock pot, season it, and let it boil down to a thick stew, seperate this into 4 lunch boxes and I have lunch/Dinner for two days!

The macros did it are prett good as its just chicken and veg, the veg just really adds bulk and a thick sauce. It's bright green so doesn't look like the most appetising thing in the world. But it's damn tasty if you add a little seasoning.

You could add a low calorie curry sauce, etc and it's another meal altogether!

Well the scales are either broken, and they're consistently reducing my weight, or for some reason my body is responding insanely to this carb cycle. Dropped to 246.2lbs now, feeling leaner than ever, felt a little weak when I got back from the gym, increasing carbs today by 20g (Wholemeal toast).

Waiting for Admin to post up the final date now, assume it will be Monday 18th?
