Marcus you won't get it no matter how I try to explain it.
The US is what you see in the news in select cities and that is all.
Rural America is not a thing like the mindset on the coastlines. You would have to come here and live it. Many many many people I know own more ammunition than four or five police departments and are also probably better with firearms than he members of those departments.

I started shooting as soon as I coul hoist a youth model rifle. Every kid out hee grows up the same way. Its a way of life and it would never be taken.

Remember my post about holding certain things sacred?
    Firearms is one of them.
    https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-t...-prod8003.aspx
A precision rifled gun barrel is the most difficult part to make on a modern firearm.

Very simple mills and lathes can produce a firearm that literally is as good as any you can buy. Its painstaking but not that difficult and you would not believe how many can do it.
We are beyond the point of a gun culture here.
I am one of millions that would lay down their life for their firearms rights in this country. I know groups of guys that sit and plan contingencies for if a ban was ever enacted. These guys jerk off thinking about it and they are not like any you see on the news that snap. They are calm cool ex military and some pretty rough country boys that competitively shoot.
Every state has a citizen militia with thousands that already have fireteams set in place with HAM radio contact all over the nation.

Believe me if there was a ban the term "hell on earth" would seem far too gentle.

Most urban leftist types would need therapy if they got to meet some of the men I know and what they have planned in the instance of end all firearm legislation.

    They won't lose.
Ever read up on prohibition repeal in the US?
They couldn't even ban hard liquor here with blood flowing down every street and that was only gang and mob fights.

I know you think rural American people are dumb but fact is they are probably the most diversely intelligent people on earth. I have a good friend who owns a laboratory he started with a patent on is own invention of specific particle isolation via carbonation. We have computer programmers, phsicians, lawyers, the greatest mechanics on the planet, engineers, architects, special forces from every branch, and the most abundant and diversified machinery on earth. No one will take their guns.
As was mentioned before most combat soldiers are rural rooted individuals and their firearms will go in the other direction should they be asked to fire upon citizens protecting their gun rights.

Not crazy marcus, I am telling you this is how it is. We are good people but guns are here to stay.

What happened to the small town shooter again? Thats right he caught a .223 in his side (in full tactical armor) by a barefoot man who has never had to shoot anyone. Out here everyone has a gun and is good with it. This isn't detroit with a bunch of gangbangers "wit they nine".
These are people born and raised with firearms and they are the very reason the US military is what it is.

It is said to be a pro at anything you must put in 10,000 hours. I guess that makes most of my friends and family professional lol. None of us will give them up.

I used the term "cowboys" because that is the way most europeans can understand us, a bunch of gun toting people that is without a doubt the strongest culture on on earth. Banning guns in this country would be like shoving a live hornest nest up your ass and being suprised you were stung.

Speaking of hornets nests... From the time I was 8 on up my brother and I would shoot the twig or branch off holding the nest up in trees. Lol

Those were good times! We shot trap and skeet with 22lr when we were bored as kids. I wish I had some of the pictures my grandmother has of us. Shooting/hunting was our primary source of entertainment.

Im not the only one marcus. We are everywhere. I am just the only one who speaks his mind about it.

All just opinion at this point though... Maybe someday we will find out.

They did a background check....but my point is I think training should be mandatory.

I’m pro gun. The only reason more innocent ppl were not killed is because a trained person brought a gun to a gun fight.

    Edit. Added “more”

One of the most polite communities is where every one is packing.

    Think about that!

Whatever government decides is banned/prohibited just makes that commodity a target for black market.

Contrary to popular belief you have to undergo a universal background check, first via the FBI database. Secondly, the gun dealer maybe required to speak with the FBI directly, either at random or if a descrepency is noticed. This process use to take days to weeks to complete, as state and local dstabases did not all link to the federal database. Thanks to computer technology, all these data bases were combined and is now a much faster process. The firearm is registered into the FBI database to your name. All new firearms have ballistic fingerprinting from the factory so that if a crime is committed the gun can be traced to the owner, if a bullet is recovered (I’m not sure how far this goes back)

Secondly, a person to person purchase is not required to do a federal background check to be done. However you can go to any FFL dealer or police station (if they are willing) and have the person checked and the firearm registered to the new owner if they pass such background check, for a fee. This is sometimes referred to as the “gun show loophole,” but that is a ambiguous term and is a matter of much debate. Now if a person sales a gun knowingly or unknowingly to a felon or the weapon is used in a crime and it’s registered under the original owners name. That person maybe held responsible, so it behoves the citizen to make sure they are not selling to criminals.

I'd disagree with some of your comments and I do struggle with some of the sacred stuff you keep so close to your heart, this whole "I'd rather die if the law changed" is worrying and also the main one someone like yourself with a gun, but I do love the history you mention. It would be probably good fun living with you for a bit and would defiantly open my eyes to a different world or something what is completely the opposite to my world, I would embrace it though and really enjoy the experience but I think more than a couple of hours with you I would end up knocking you out ( in the nicest possible way ) for some strange reason.

It would be great if you could try and get those photos I'd love to see them Obs?

I do understand that you think your not mad, I know you think this way and I also acknowledge that its the way it is where you live. I obviously don't know enough to really express any opinion on the matter.

    This is so true Girly

I moved back to my small home town in which pretty much everyone has a gun. Guess what, there is little to no crime. People know better around here because this is a hunting and fishing (Marcus) community. I have been handling and shooting guns since I was a wee (for you clarky) little kid, and have the upmost respect for guns.

In middle school, we are required to take a hunting/gun safety course, so everyone learns how to use one and how to handle one.

I️ carry at times when I️ have to go to the city but plan on never ever having to pull it out to use. It is there in case I️ would need it in the event someone was trying to do harm to me or someone else.

That's what the liberal media wants you to believe. It's not that people like me and obs would rather die than lose our guns, we would risk dying fighting to keep them.

Bombings have become a regular occurrence in Europe. When will the Europeans ban bombs, and stop these attacks? Surly making bombs illegal will put a end to it!

That was a federal Governemnt thing. When he was Convicted of domestic violence and kick out of the airforce. The airforce was suppose to report to the FBI his status as to not be eligible to posses or purchase a firearm. Also he was supposedly escaped from a mental institution and according to authorities he “could not be located.” Yet he was all over Facebook and posting up that he just bought a weapon. Which if all the government agencies had done their respective jobs, this would have never happened.

People want more government regulation? This is yet another tragic and sickening example of the ineptness of Government to protect its citizens.

I wouldn't like to announce to everyone what's wrong but it's a good thing you recognise it.

You have any cowboy culture YouTube videos for me to look at obs? Would be nice to educate myself more on the subject

    Militias in america.
Its long I watched about two minutes of it but it will give all a cleare understanding.
There are millions ready to put down gun control by sheer force. They meet and practice and build fireteams in every State and are simply put much stronger than the US military.

These fireteams are parts of platoons and regiment led by special forces. These people jerk off to the thought of gun control in the US. It seems like they dont know what they are doing until you watch a group of snipers making consistent 1000yrd headshots.

Many in these militias manufacture firearms from their home. Most have stockpiles and they come from every walk of life. Hey all hold the second amendmet sacred and as something to die for. Every day their ranks grow and they train newbies in guerrilla warfare.

Army rangers and green berets, navy seals and marine recon lead large groups through the process and the training is not one bit less than the training they recieved.

Marcus, if you were to come to my (and my brothers) shooting range, and shoot at the multiple targets we have with a 1911 .45, or shoot at 1" targets at 400 yards with a suppressed target rifle, shoot a couple hundred pounds of explosives, or shoot my friends m2 .50 cal machine gun, or shoot some hogs at night using thermal and night vision, you would understand us a little better. We are not just red necks with a bunch of guns, we know how to use them very well

I was too gentle before. This is a watered down propaganda video. Each one of these people are equvalent to 100 antigunners on a battlefield.
These people are not hesitant or pussies.

Do something politically to piss off these groups and there will be no more politics. Once again the second amendment is their top priority.

The media has downplayed just how many there are big time.

I am all for gun control. Do it.

Would you like a copy of the gunpowder cook book?
Casting brass is fun too and so is fulminating mercury.

We have prepared though so that wont be necessary. We have enough ammo for a 20 year war.

I invented and built a special cooker to make charcoal for making black powder. The charcoal is the key to having good powder. Every year the PGI (the largest fireworks club in the us) has a contest for who can make the hottest bp. They fire a baseball out of a 3" mortar. The person who won the last one was using my charcoal! Here's a picture of the cooker
