I wouldn't know about prep-ing for a contest but carbs are the enemy they're made out to be for the average guy.

carbs rule. now that i've quitted BBing im bigger (and fatter) than ever the only bb carb i'm be keeping are morning oats, from time to time, the rest is rice (paella), pasta (home made), waffles, crepes, i just make sure to keep my protein intake in check and thats all i eat any sort of carb. no crappy carbs like candy etc (which i dont really like) but for example today mommy made me a cake out of almonds and egg whites and cinnamon. :P

but really i'm not that carbs sensible i tried taking out carbs out of 3 of my meals and that week i felt like shit. weak, got sick. i need carbs in all my meals. when i wanna get ripped i'l just do more swimming.
