I though that too. As my diet sucks. But people come back for more and happy. Like "i've lost 3 cms of waiste", "i'm benching 25kg more".
I think that is because they pay me to do a job i do it seriously.
I still don't get why the whole stigatization of bread and the "oats are awesome trend".
I know strong, big, lean, people who have no clue what oats are. Yeah they are familiar with the name, they now it is a cereal and thats all. They have never seen it. They eat rice with eggwhite or spagetti with chicken and that is much more tasty and energetic than oats. And its no bad.Last edited by Voland; 02-15-2009 at 04:15 PM.

Brown rice is good aswell...And I find oats give me more energy and better pumps in the gym than any other form of carbs.
and "whole wheat" bread doesn't really mean shit, just that it's brown. If you want the least harmful bread you need "whore GRAIN". Not "multigrain" cause that doesn't really mean anything either.
Not saying your diets suck, but they probably like the results cause they've probably been eating SHITTY all their lives, so when they start eating healthy foods they notice dramatic results.

And for people like me who put on fat easily, eating pasta is not a very good call. I usually have one whole grain pasta endevour a week.

ya fool. i wanna know how you ended up in your profession. like schooling and all.
im switching my schooling from becoming a dietician to nursing. i will have my associates in nursing after this semester and am debating whether to join the nursing program my school offers and hopefully be an RN in two years or go to a four year for my bsn (this is what i think i will do but more money and more time) and hopefully from there continue on to NP.
what are your thoughts? I respect your opinion.

can you split up the integral of : abs(sin[x])cos[nx] into two integrals????? because i know how to do the absolute value one by itself....but mixed with cos i'm clueless. also the limits of integration are -pi adn pi which further complicates it because to do the absolute value part you have to do twice the integral from zero to pi.

i figured it out finally......absolute value of sin is an even function and cos is an odd function....their product creates and odd function which integrated over a symmetric interval equals zero.

shit....that's not right....cos isn't odd over -pi to pi is it....it's even...****

well at least that helps me with the next coefficient....bn is zero then because it will be the integral with abs of sin times reg sin....which adheres to the logic above

my personal thing: went to Case Western Reserve U for electrical engineering, got B.S.; thought to get Master in same, started at Ohio State, broke off and went to Barcelona to be with gf; came back to continue study at Virginia Tech and while fooling around with antenna design and electromagnetics suddenly said "oh, now i wanna be a doctor". so went to med school (Tel Aviv U.), then did residency (U. Illinois/Michael Reese Med Center), then started out working.
I def recommend doing the RN program; you will have many opportunities while doing clinicals, to feel out the market for nurses with BSN where you're at. i suspect the more education the better. I also know many nurses will get an x-year degree, work for a bit to help with the money thing, and then continue on to get the next higher degree. I think you'll be set in any case.

going way back in time here, but would think you'd change it to sum of two integrals: sin*cos (integrated over the values for which sin is positive) and
-sin*cos (integrated over the values for which sin is negative)
but that's just off top of my head, and we're going back many years

apparently my calculator is smarter than i am
-
02-15-2009, 06:59 PM #127559
the answer is 4cos[nx]........how the **** mr. calculator came up with that....not sure....
the 4 is abs of sin integrated over -pi to pi......but why does the cos just stay there? is it because it's the derivative of sin?
