    I have the solution.....

Lets put our bags in the lockers from now on. Between each set we can run to the locker room for our chalk, bcaa's, towel, straps, weight belt, etc. then when someone complains that we take too long we can tell em to piss off :-)

We have a Woman at our gym that does this crap and/or she'll run and do other machines in-between her sets. She then gets pissed-off if you jump in and change her weights. I blasted her on this one day and now she walks by me every day like she has a cat-turd under her nose. Total wack-job she is...

Not at they gym but on the way to gym. Cyclists!!!!!!!!!!! They take up a whole lane so you have to veer onto oncoming cars to get around them. Especially when they are in those groups like they think they are in the tour of france. They are so arrogant and blasé they do not care that they are a burden with there slowness. They do not even pay road registration fees so get the fvck off the road get on the footpath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they wonder why cars run into them or throw eggs at them.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annoying for people who bring their bag.

My gym is terribly crowded and in its configuration their aren't any walls away from everything or everyone.

So they are left hanging in the squat rack or by the bench near the Dumbbells.

One guy was using his bag on the squat rack to hold his place. Anthony (I introduced myself and requested his name) said he didn't mind if I used his squat rack as long as I ran around the gym to find him and inform him I was done. Srsly. I had to go find him. He prefers to do one fast cross fit like arms/shoulders and back set in the squat rack and then journey to the machines to do 3 or 5 sets on a machine. Back to the squat rack for arms and shoulders etc. He doesn't want to unrack his weights every time so he hangs bag on the squat rack kinda like RSVIP.

DB area is super busy and several guys are now all bringing their back packs for the purpose of reserving the benches while they go do shrugs somewhere else but nearby. They also leave there water bottle.

So I am not a fan of bags as you may tell.

I'm down to do this. It's about time we fight back. I'm also going to start eating a plate full of beans and garlic a few hours before going.

I didn't realize bringing a bag with was a problem anywhere. If my gym bag is in your way, you are in my way and should worry about my weights hitting you not my bag tripping you.

Yes I defiantly bring mine when I walk away. Come to think of it, if I've ever seen one on a machine I want I just move it and go. Never thought someone might be trying to reserve the machine lol. Figure it was just forgotten...nobody has bitched at me yet.

No one has ever complained about it...but again, it's out of everyone's way.
Only when it's used for marking a machine you are not going to use but plan on later do I see it as a problem and they must have gotten some complaints since they put up the signs. Like I said I see people marking 2 or 3 machines or benches other people could be using. Personally I dont give a damn anymore and if I see them on a bench or whatever and there is a backpack or jacket on another bench or machine and there is not an alternative sometimes Ill ask if it's theirs and if they say yes I pick it up and give it to them but if I know it's theirs and it's not the 1st time I just drop it on the floor.

I use to drive a bit 1 ton pickup with a dump bed and mirrors that stuck way out. I use to literally run some of the bikers off the shoulder of the road because as you said they would ride almost down the middle even in town where there is traffic so you have no choice but stay behind them due to on coming traffic. No, I took option 3 and came damn close to running a few over but I did manage to clip a few in the helmet with my mirror.

We had one guy who acted like he was going to say something at a stop light at the intersection until he looked at us and decided since he weighted maybe 140 lbs and both of us were dirty, scruffy looking drywall scrappers and looked like we did not give a fvck he decided to keep his mouth shut. Good choice...

I'm sure we could not get away with that anymore.

haha that ^^ reminds me of the cyclist where I live we don't have a lot of shoulders to ride on outside the yellow line so they like to ride in the road which makes things dangerous if you want to pass due to on coming traffic. one day I just floored it to about 60 in a 35 and put my bumper within a couple inches of him lol and I think it worked i haven't seen them riding on the road in a long time

I wouldn´t describe myself as "friendly" when it comes to the my behavior at the gym, but at least I try to be polite, with most people.

There is this trainer that gives maybe one class a week, enabling him free use of the gym (a rather expensive one I must say). He´s always with three or four buddies training in group, never re-rack weights, take turns and block the weights/rack for hours and show no respect for paying members.

Yesterday I was waiting for the Pull Down station to get free (the guy offered me to jump between sets, but I declined because I would have to adjust weights and height every time), so I went to the Cybex Machine to warm up, 5 min later, when I felt the guy there was about to finish I stand close to the machine and there he was this "trainer" and his buddies, I just looked at him and in the unfriendliest way possible and said "I´m waiting for it" he looked in disbelief, I didn´t say anymore, when the guy finished he was about to jump into the machine, I stood in front of him and said "I told you I was waiting for it" the guy that was before, noded and said, "yeah he was first".

I don´t like behaving like an a**hole but they are people that just deserve it.

say anymore, when the guy finished he was about to jump into the machine, I stood in front of him and said "I told you I was waiting for it" the guy that was before, noded and said, "yeah he was first".

so i was using a two arm cable machine doing double drop set lateral raises. as i'm setting up for my last set, woman newb grabs the other arm and starts doing tricep extensions. i politely said that we both can't use the machine at the same time. she said something in a language i don't understand (not english) and kept right on going with her set... wtf.

i really try to be supportive of newbs in the gym as i believe everyone can benefit from weights as part of their program, but this was just ridiculous.

What pisses me off in the gym is when i see a cocky skinny shmoe that is 18% BF that is full of water retention from the gear they've been on for 5 weeks and think they're the incredible hulk walking around like they're the shit when they really look like shit.....I was doing lat pulldowns and went to get a drink of water and came back and one of the shmoes i described (you can always hear his music he walks around with it while he lifts) was on the machine...I say "I was on this machine i still have some sets to go" He says "I didn't see you here" so i didn't even bother arguing with him i just unhooked the bar and left him alone sitting there and i said "have fun" and hooked it up 5 feet away from him and continued my pulldowns while he sat there looking at me without a bar and i really wanted him to do something but he didn't....

I HATE when people walk up to the dumbbell racks, take what they need, and stand right there--six inches from the dumbbell rack--and do their curls (usually with shitty form) blocking access to the weights.

Actually last Sunday watched an older gentleman. Do this but curling one arm and reading the paper with the other hand.

My father is here on vacation and I've been working out with him like old times. This man has a staring problem. He looks at every ass that walks by. Even if he's in the middle of a set. I can't take it anymore lol

I guess I'm lucky in that I don't work out in a gym where anyone brings their bag in with them? My gym is small and there's usually only one or two other people lifting in there with me...

I just don't understand why you would need to carry a bag around in the gym with you. If I'm going to need my lifting straps, I just bring them with me that day. If I'm doing legs and will need a belt... I'll just carry it with me. Why carry a whole bag around when I know what I need before hand? Doesn't make sense.

    Leg day I need:

    - belt
    - knee wraps
    - lifting straps
    - water bottle
    - shaker cup with preworkout/intra workout drink

A bag is much easier. I'm also not the only one to doit so I know I'm not crazy lol

Drink your preworkout before you arrive. Go to locker, put everything you don't need in locker. Put your knee wraps on. Put your belt over your shoulder. Tuck your lifting straps in the elastic of your shorts. Put water bottle in hand. Walk out of locker room. Proceed with workout and apply your chosen implements as needed, when needed, where needed.

    Success.

The knee wraps are 3ft long each and need to be taken off between sets to allow the blood to flow back to my legs. I'm not going to tuck lifting straps Into my shorts and look like an asshole, carry a water bottle in one hand and t shake in another (I don't drink the whole thing right away) just to please someone.

I care about one person in the gym..... That's me. My bag doesn't interfere with anyone and If it does then they're too close to me anyways. I'm not going to make 3 trips to the locker room to fetch what I need at the moment just to keep one guy happy lol
