People asking me where to get gear.
People accusing me of using gear. Than dont believe me when I tell the that I have never touched it.
People telling others that the only way to get big is to gear up. I’m sure that’s good for business but it’s not true.

I got a list lol for my gym
-People taking equipment and having no idea what they're doing
-People taking equipment and spending half the time sitting around talking to their friends
-People who stand right next to me and curl when I'm doing something like DB OH press where I could potentially have to drop the weight to save my shoulder if something goes wrong
-People who curl in the squat rack (lol cliche, but srsly my gym has a milliion curl bars and people still ****ing do it)
I could think of more but I'll leave off there for now

There’s so much crap that people do that bugs me. The number one thing is not treating others like you would want to be treated. I mean if I was doing something wrong I would want to know. I always re-rack my weights and wipe everything I use off because that’s how it should be. I always ask if any ones using something before I use it because it pisses me off when people take stuff that someone else is using.
I go to the gym to train not to socialize. Leave your cell phone at home and go to the club down the street if you want to hang out.
I wear baggy ass clothing and nothing matches because I’m there to train not to pick up chicks. I hate when people wear designer clothing to work out.
Being rude shouldn’t be tolerated you can get your point across without being mean, violent or rude. There’s no reason to be rude to old people. We are all going to be old someday. There’s no reason to be rude to skinny people just because they are skinny. None of us were born looking the way we do. We all had to work to get the physiques we have. If some well-built guy shared his wisdom with me when I started working out things would have been a lot easier.

There have been a few that have been showing up at my gym late night now too. One of those jackoffs really was pissed me off while I was doing dumbell incline bench and really focusing on my decline and going extra slow. He runs over to give a spot (thinking because I'm going slow on the decline that I'm in trouble) and proceeds to bump my elbow pretty good in the process. I almost dropped the weight on myself because of him.

I hate that to
Something pissed me of the other day. This 1 guy came in the gym, he took ou n straight bar, an ezbar, 2 sets of dumbells, a flat bench, a seated bench and a preacher curl bench, he does 1 set with everything and leaves the gym, he didn't put back 1 thing.
Things like these piss me off

Visually I can deal with annoying and weirdly dressed people. But when people start messing with my sense of smell by smelling bad or messing with me hearing my music by screaming very load simply for attention that's annoys me

No way bro. The louder I grunt the more I can lift. It's science

I typically hate most people in any gym I am in. With the exception of a few, the rest seem to think its all about 3sets of 10, and doing a ****-ton of exercises. So if I am playing with TUT, Negatives or HIT, I get people just watching me train like Im doing it wrong. It doesnt initially bother me, Im lifting considerably more than they are and I am considerably bigger. I just wish they would either do some research or ask me what I am doing, dont just stare.
And I REALLY hate 'that' skinny ass kid that thinks because he has a six-pack, that he is ripped and therefor a lifting god, all the other kids ask him for training advice. Often has stupid styled hair and wears a vest that would look large on Kai Greene.

This didn't really piss me off, but it was rather strange thing that happened at the gym.
So I told the story before of the guy that has been coming in and flat benches for like 10 mins and then shadow boxes (he doesn't know what he's doing) in the mirror for like 45 mins. So I got there a little late this morning and here he is in the mirror finishing up his "routine." A few minutes later, the guy crawls in to a corner in the gym and sits down by himself right behind the weight-tree motionless with his head in his hands. He literally slept there for like nearly an hour before he just wakes up goes over to the squat rack to do a set of curls and leaves.

I go to a University gym, so there are a lot of '**** followers' and 'bros' that come in packs. I love talking to other people in between our sets, but sometimes it gets ridiculous when there are 10-12 guys around one bench yelling and laughing when everyone else is focusing.
We also have a serious problem of people leaving plates everywhere, and grabbing 5-6 sets of DBs at a time.
Edit: LOL Zyz* is filtered. I love that.

ppl that pay way to much attention to what I'm doing instead of concentrating on their own routine. dumb ****s who sit on a machine between sets!! groups of guys working out like little girls at a justin beaver concert? WTF
Antone who is in my ****ing way!!

1.) People wanting to chit chat when I have my ear phones in so I can avoid all the surrounding noise and focus on hitting my lifts.
2.) People who leave weight on the bar
3.) Guys that grunt too loudly when they don't even have much weight, or are simply using too much weight and are trying to act tough, but somehow seem to be too weak to not drop the weights from mid-air after they are done sounding like they are getting it up the ass with a blow torch.
4.) Jersey Shore looking guys that take every barbell in the gym so they can do their brand new cross-fit cleans at the same time.
5.) Keebler Elf looking guys that walk too close to me when I'm doing squats, benches or deadlifts, with no regard to anything around them whatsoever.
6.) When gym employees are using the only deadlift platform so they can do their crossfit cleans.
7.) When the gym locks the room with the only power rack, hex bar and deadlift platform when it's after main hours.
8.) The old naked man in the locker room spreading all his stuff out on the only benches in there.
9.) Treadmills that aren't properly maintained and have belts that skip while you're trying to walk on them.
10.) A gym without an incline bench
11.) Personal trainers talking too loud to impress his girl clients.
12.) People using the only squat rack to do military presses with 5 pound plates on either side.
13.) People that stop you and want to talk and tell you about all the stuff they cannot do because they injured their knee.
14.) Gyms that aren't really designed for lifters, but are made to look good to attract new members they are banking will only show up for 2-3 weeks in January.
15.) Guys asking me about whether a supplement they paid too much money for will work, and asking me what I do to get big, when they then tell me they don't train their legs.
16.) I could go on, and it pissed me off enough to just build my own gym at home.

At one of the gyms I use the ymca they have a sign up board and some like to show up hrs early and sign up for machines and I will be in the middle of a workout and they come ask me to move its there time. Hasn`t happened in awhile because I told them where to go. But I still see them doing it to others who may not want to speak up. Its bullshit when you get to the gym at 2 and the machines and benchs are signed up for from 300 - 600. First come first serve.

Most of these complaints sound like me.
I like doing curls in the squat rack.
Watching TV between sets.
Ask the big people if they use gear.
Grunt loud so I can get the last eight reps out.
Ask for a spot on my bench warm up.
Leave weight on the bar when I'm done.

Thankfully, I never had to experience that, but I feel badly for those that did/do. I understand gym rules and etiquette, I really do, and feel I am very good at obeying them. It's just funny the so called guys they don't want to attract. You know, the powerlifters and body builders that move the big weights, use chalk and sweat a lot, but are usually the best behaved, never bother anyone, and are the best about cleaning up their station when they're done? I suppose it's the intimidating factor, but the only issues I've ever had are from inexperienced folks, younger kids or people so narcissistic they are too in love with themselves to even understand how to use a weight of any kind.

doesn't piss me off...
but I was at the gym a few weeks ago, and had some real noxious gas. Plus the gym was really crowded. So when I get tired of waiting for a station to open up, i just get real close and blast out a few...
...well, that's probably a slight exaggeration. But seriously, if you don't let loose, you can get a rupture or something!

When gym staff says either one of the following
"You can only use the box outside"
"Box squats are bad for you"
"You can't use chalk here"
Maxing out on DL " Can you please lower that slowly"
When using the sled"You can't take the weights outside....well can you check them out please?"
Gym staff gets to slowly know me and they usually let me do whatever I want, its just a pain going to a new gym.

Even an outdoor space is near the same. I did some checking a while back looking for a place to store one of my trailers for a while and I'm not talking about in or even near the city.
Ive been thinking about seeing what the regulations are for outdoor storage and buying some land just for that.

People leaving plates and things everywhere and making the tiny cleaning lady put them back before close.

The gym posting signs everywhere. no shirts off. don't drop the dumbells. If you drop the dumbells you are using too much weight. And the big one..,"lower the weight slowly when deadlifting carefull to not drop and bend the bar" "workout heavy but with control"
and of course the new guy that comes in the gym and starts immediately doing curls and then moves over to do some back exercises. and these people wonder why there not big.

Eh, you can't expect a newb to know what he's doing.
The thing that gets me the most is when you see the 40+ crowd in there lifting. Most of them aren't doing heavy of reps or sets and the weight is too light for them to even be breaking a sweat much less getting any benefit from what they're doing. Luckily, they get bored and quit after a month, but not before giving some of the younger guys in the gym the speech about how big and strong they were back when they were young and before their knee went out.
