I agree because it's true. Her liver isn't going to be screwed from one night of drinking after 4 months of being sober. I like to call it "moderation". Allowing yourself to get loose a couple times a year (generally during special occasions) can have big psychological benefits (just like a cheat meal).

I disagree because if she hasn't drank for 4 months, I'm sure she could not drink for another 4 months. One night of drinking can hinder your gains, but if she's willing to pay that price, then it's up to her to decide, not us. I know that when I used to drink, I would wake up the next day and look smaller, and find it hard to get back into the swing of things (gym, diet, etc). It's best not to drink at all. The cons of alcohol HEAVILY outweigh the pros.
