I would have pushed a little harder for the 425 but this was with no belt. Didn't wanna risk anything. I've got to invest in a good one soon!

I would have to look at your style to be sure but if your long limbed like me it can be hard to lock out. I started bringing my feet way in "a foot and a half at the moat between heels" then i really point my toes out "if thinking in regards of a clock 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock". i place my hands really far in "Half my hand on the inside of the grip". With this method you really have to work on the angle you raise the bar. You almost scrap your shins. Drive with your heels of coarse but when you squat at your initial pull your hips sit up and back which feels different from a more general stance. "i almost feel as if I'm about to fall backwards" This tighter stance made me able to lock out just about anything I could pull 18inches from the floor before..... This also really helped my 18 inch dead lift "with 18" and truck pulls I pull even further in and point my toes more straight"

Got these cheap they are the David beckham model but have more padding and stability than the all stars but a very similar thin flat sole which is great on leg day and dead lifts

What next week? I want to 200lb 8% when comp starts, gonna be tough though, I totally pigged out yesterday( high carb day). The calipwrs read ~9% the other day :-)

I'm sure my bones weigh twice as much as they should lol, I compare my figure to other dudes the same weight and there just seems less of me, I'm letting my guard down now, take my back picture yesterday for instance, ok my pump had gone - it was taken 8 hours after a workout, but still - or I'm just not photogenic haha

I can't wait much longer for the bulk cycle to begin.

No man that's what I'll be after the 15lb minimum gain for the comp. I'm the small guy in this one sitting at 165 currently. This comp just lined up with my bulking for the npc show I wanna do next august so I jumped in.

Doddle? I'm still torn on whether to blast or not. I know I can make the required gain without it but unsure of how lean I can keep the gains in 15 weeks. I made it to 168 last month but cut cals back and I'm holding steady at my 165 right now.

If I do decide to cycle it'll be a first for me which is why I'm still a bit torn on it. Kind of a big leap to take, but I've still got a few weeks to decide.
