A two hour nap always does a body good. I'd order a large pepperoni pizza. That should take care of those macros. Your wife will have to get her own dinner, though

For example, today during back, I was doing single arm lat pulldowns and went to failure on my left side at 6 reps, but on the right side, i was still going strong and could have kept going, but stopped in order to 'keep it even' with my left side.

Does anyone else face this type of challenge and if so, any suggestions? Is this okay because both sides are going to failure, or should I consider doing an extra set on the left side only?
Obviously the issue lies in the right side of your brain.

Yes. And youre right, since the failure mark is based on the weaker side the stronger side isn't getting as much stimulation, but I believe it's close enough that the weaker side will grow while the stronger side either grows more slowly or just maintains. The question is about symmetry, not raw growth without regard for symmetry. We have two limbs on each side so IMO they have to be treated that way. My left arm got to be a full 3/8" bigger than the right. Enough that I could actually see it. Looked goofy. What I'm doing is making my right arm come up faster than the left but they are both getting bigger. I wouldn't intentionally shrink one side so I tried this. Is working so far.

same, my left arm is a lil weaker, but same size when measured against right... so doesn't bother me...

back is feeling alot better, only a slight discomfort.. not gonna stop me from going to the gym tomorrow..

probably 3 day split this week since Thursday will be spent traveling to Thailand and Friday-Sunday will be spent with family there... hopefully find a gym next Monday to do a workout.. gonna bring my gym bag with me

so Monday - chest/shoulders, Tuesday - back/tri's/bi's, Wednesday - legs, or something like that...

Got up just below 4000cals today. Mostly good
My problem is being consistent each and every day. Gotta go back to work on monday. I've done nothing but eat, rest, eat, workout, and eat for the past three weeks.

I get meat at local grocery stores when they have sales and freeze some. I admit I'm not going to drive 15 miles to the nearest costco to save a few bucks and I won't go near any walmart. Hate that store. I think they pay people to go in there unshowered with their 12 screaming unruly children still wearing pajamas! The parents, not the kids hahaha!

Had 3 slices pizza today, apple turnover, in addition to the reg meal schedule. Got a sh*t ton of quinoa on the stove and turkey burgers in the oven. And the kid wants to go to the store after the game and get bagels and snacks for movie night.

Highly recommend reading the book first. You won't put it down. THEN see the movie. Yes, we did speak of it. I met the guy back in 08 shortly after his book came out. Neat stuff.

I've never seen a movie based on a book where I hadn't read the book first. I read a lot and many of the books I've read end up being made into movies for some reason. The movie version is usually disappointing. There are exceptions but few. The Bourne movies for instance. I read all of the Ludlum Bourne books in the 90's. I tried to watch the movie versions. Couldn't finish the first 30min of identity. nothing like the book at all. The Green Mile though, almost identical to the book series but Stephen King either wrote the screenplay or was otherwise involved heavily with the production. I could go on but this isn't marcus300's book review thread

I was hoping this movie was good. I will probably read the book before I see it. It's probably reasonable based on what you said that seeing the movie first can ruin the book

Exactly. And a book has much more detail. It takes a day or two to read a novel. The movie would have to be 40hrs long to contain everything. Lol.
