I have found the best hamstring exercise while in this crazy busy time. My hams have never been as sore the next day as they were after doing this. What you ask? Building walls for a playhouse for my all most 3 yr old son :-). Plus the carrying of all the lumber.

I'm not even half done. Railing us going to eat up a day. No instructions. I drew up myself. 12x12 platform. 8x6 ft house. May have gone overboard a little. Lol

    Back this morning

    Wide grip pulldowns
    seated chest support single rows
    hammer strength underhand grip pulldowns
    Low pulley rows
    Hypers

Everything took to failure, lower back hurting but that's not unusual

    Looks good Marcus.

I got legs in yesterday. Still watching my knee and taking it a little lighter and easier:

Extensions: 2 sets, high reps today (20)
Vertical Press: same as above. little rest between, breathing hard here.
Wide Squats: One set 15, drop for 10.
    Seated curls: 2 straight sets
    Usual calf crap.

No residual knee pain today, which was my goal and means it's getting better.

you guys are making me jealous! I jacked up some ribs doing pullovers a few days ago and have had to do nothing since tuesday. It has honestly been a challenge just to breathe and get in and out of a chair. Been to the chiropractor twice now. Feels like I'll have to go light all next week before getting back after it.

I can't remember it was about 15 years ago but it was painful I couldn't fill my lunges properly and had to have some scans.

Hey Marcus. Ive just been cruising these last couple of weeks eating at a maintenance level. I dropped cals down bc BF was getting to high and my BP was rising. had to drop the DROL this week just too many sides man cant handle it. Just gonna cruise on test and deca for a little while. I couldnt even do anything yesterday my head hurt so bad and now today my nose is stopped up from dried blood. So its time to ease up a little on the gas. Got chest in tonight. Overall im happy with what i have built so far would honestly like a little more size but it will come with time im not worried about trying to be Mr Olympia over night like i was. Ive realized diet/training is number one no matter what. No matter what gear you take if your nutrition and training is slacking then results just will not be good as they could be. But overal im enjoying it. Thanks by the way. Been a real busy week for me this week i bought a new vehicle and had to put tires on my other one, taxes did, just alot of running around. Be glad when it slows down.

Drol can bring on some serious sides my main issues with it was appetite and stomach problems that's why I started to pulse it. Nice to see your doing well and your mind set is on track

Hate to hear that, Marcus. Is this one of those nagging things that generally eases off with a few days rest?

It's a cuff injury I've had for a few months. Won't let it heal because I'm stupid and can't do without my failure training. I'm taking longer rest days because of my work schedule so hopefully it will help.

You never realize just how many movements your shoulder is actually activated in until it's injured. Then you're like damn. Get some quality rest.

I hate making threads in the steroid section because they get lost among most of the crap floating around in there. So I figure I'd ask here.

I'm getting ready to run a Test Prop/NPP cycle. I have several cycles under my belt. 5'9", 210 lbs, a generous 15% BF. I started some cardio (stair climber and treadmill), but I'll have to find something else because after a weeks worth, my knees are shot. I used to jump rope, but I'll have to see because I'm about 30 lbs. heavier since then.

I've ran Test Prop/NPP before and loved it. I believe the last run was around 80-100mg of each EOD. Looking for dosing opinions. The highest I've ever ran my test was 700. Cleaned up my diet as I'm looking for more of a recomp or slow lean gain cycle.

Let me try and remember them (that sounds bad). In no specific order

    Compounds/weekly dosage

    Test C/DECA (400/400)
    Test C/EQ (400/600)
    Test C (600)
    Test P/npp/mast (280/280/280)
    Test P/Tren A (200/350)
Test C/Tren E (started 200 test, then bumped to 700 test/ Tren 525 - TOO much, no more of that)

That's about it I believe. I might have added some left over NPP at 100mg EOD during TRT to help alleviate joint discomfort.

Right on, thanks for the input brother. I didn't have a problem with Nandrolone in the past and loved it. I had some libido issues last run on Tren (high) even with AI and Prami, so I'm watch things a little more closely now.

Doesn't look terrible. I personally like to bend over more (closer to my upper body being parallel with the floor). I do my barbell rows like this as well. I start to straighten up when it gets too heavy.

Had a guy ask me if my arms were 16" the other day after I was doing skull crushers he complimented on the weight i was using.. they were even pumped and I was like dang man cmon lol is that all they look...?? First time I've ever seen the guy in my gym. Real nice guy just very new to the sport. Reminded me a lot of when I started.

Off day today. Hit it hard tommorow. I can finally say I can do 20 wide grip chins with perfect form. Not impressive but its a milestone. Backs gotta be responding to them.

Nothing wrong with 16"s they would just look a little small on my long frame as I'm 6 2 pushing 6 3

20 wide grip is impressive man. When I first started lifting, I couldn't even do one. So I started stepping up to the chin bar and doing negatives until I got strong enough to do one. Then I worked up to a certain number (say 15). I would do as many as I could and then rest and then keep going, even if I could only get one and have to rest again. Eventually I was able to go to town repping them. I guess that was my first experience with negatives and rest/pause.

I feel ya brotha. I've always liked them. I'm not a superheavy so I can rep away at them. I like to keep form perfect with those. I'd rather do 5 perfectly than 15 sloppy reps. Really important to concentrate on those lats.

    Legs tonight and feeling wiped.

    Leg extensions
    Angled leg press
    BB squats
    Calf extensions

Squats are now part of my regular leg workout and I have truly felt the difference.

Well, I couldn't sleep before my Dr. app't yesterday. I am on TRT now...the protocol is less than ideal, but at least it's a start. Anyway got biceps/forearms in before going to the Dr.

    Standing E-Z curl
    2 w/u
    Work-5-rp-2-rp-1.5 reps
    Incline d'bell curl
    2 w/u
    Work-4-rp-2-rp-2
    Concentration curl
    1 w/u
    Work-4-rp-3-rp-2 cheat w/ slow neg.
    D'bell wrist curl
    Work1- palms up to failure
    Work2-palms down to failure
    Seated upright hammer curls
    1 w/u
    Work-5-rp-3-rp-1

By the time I got home from the Dr. and finally got in bed I had been up for around 27 hours. I was off Fri..night, so I got in some quality sleep. Will grab triceps today before I crash later. Back to work tonight.

Edit:....I still haven't gotten rid of the stupid inner ear infection completely. The Dr. put me on another round of stupid prednisolone, so maybe that will clear it up this time.....at least it isn't hindering lifting or work.

There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...
