You know someone will post a session up then your like fvck what a session so you have to go balls to the wall i know we need/want to anyway but it makes us all go a bit more i think because you don't want to post a half arsed session up.

So shoulders was under pressure as had to meet up with someone.
So rc warm ups.
Front and side raises supersetted after warm up sets. Went heavier than normal with these which was unreal the muscles were really responding well, pump was savage.
Then farmers walk loved 6 laps of the gym was in bits then did on set of shruggs just to destroy the fatigued muscles.
Then hammerstrength presses epic tbh really really were a strugle.
Then did the side delt exercuae marcus posted up a few weeks away with a db loved it serious pump.
Was in bits 35 mins start to finish sweat pouring outta me really loved it came home to feed and chill

Another great leg workout yesterday. Been squatting some real heavy weight lately as it's been feeling great. Must be the new neoprene's I recently picked up....ha! I think I need to skip squats next week just to be safe and give my knees and back a much needed break. I say that now anyway....
Speaking of pictures as several guys have referenced above. I'd love to see more of the members post up some progress pics.

Drinking a "Marcus"- style shake and headed to the shop to hit legs in a few . I swear guys, I will be SO glad when this string of OT is done at work. One of my New Year resolutions is to cut back on the OT when possible. Will post up my lift later after I get settled in @ work.

I was PISSED! I gotta stop working crazy hours for a company that doesn't appreciate it.

Back in, glad everyone is doing so good.
Hit legs with my old training partner at my old gym....felt GOOD to be back in the mix.
5 min on bike warm up
5 sets of squats
4 leg press
from and rear single leg extensions and calves.
Took it easy as a "feeler" work out and just mental strength on not sqauting over 365. Felt good to be back in the rack and out of the smith machine. Looking forward to next session in two weeks.

Had a 7 point skin fold caliper test done, sitting at 8% 180lbs - I'm 5'7 on a good day.
Made some good progress with this HIT style training and some huge strength gains.
Thank you guys!Last edited by DrewZ; 12-11-2014 at 09:25 PM.

Good, strong lift today...for me, anyway. It was 38°F in the shop, but I still worked up one hell of a sweat. Started off with my usual lower body stretches and a couple of sets of crunches.
Leg extensions-2 w/u, Work-9.5,drop,3.5,drop,4.5
Toe touches
Calves-2 w/u, Work1-10-4.5-4, drop, Work2- 8-4.5-3.5. Slow negatives w/ a long hold on last rep down to the full stretch @ the bottom.
Hacks-Work-7-4-3. Almost ready to bump up the weight on these. I do these w/ my feet about shoulder width apart... maybe a tad more, and feet all the way up on the top of the platform. Later on down the road I plan to start narrowing up my stance a tad after I get a bit stronger w/ current stance.
Leg press- 2w/u, Work-6,drop,5-3.5
Leg curl- 1 w/u, Work-11-5-3.5. Long slow neg on the last 3.5.
Didn't get in the power thrusts today, but I was pushing pretty d@mn hard! Believe I strained a sternocleidomastoid..neck has a funky twinge to it....no biggie.
Really busted my ass, guys. 48 minutes not counting the stretches and crunches.
Arms are next in the rotation. Looking forward to doing some really painful stuff to myself.Last edited by almostgone; 12-12-2014 at 02:36 AM.

you need to compact your working sets into one its impossible to go to failure on 4 working sets,
failure is something whats learnt, its a mind set, its a whole inner body experience what takes every ounce of motivation to take your body through this pain.
Check out some of our routines, or better still read the whole thread it explains it in detail.

I've grown to love online shopping....especially since we're kind of way out in the sticks. Online shopping also has the added benefit of no crowds, which I also like.
Maybe go shopping first, DCI.... get p!ssed off at the whole process (which I do), and then use the anger to hit legs? There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

PTEX is the brand. Was in a Dicks Sporting Goods with my son and come upon these. Dirt cheap. I opened it up, checked it out and bought them. Went with large and they fit perfect. Very impressed with them compared to the 2-3 times more expensive ones. These are just neoprene sleeves, nothing fancy.
