Marcus. I love when you post your Mrs workouts. I incorporate them into my routine. I have seen 2 leg workouts to date and interested in more.
I actually copy and paste the information into a note on my phone so I can easily reference.

Hit a good back workout yesterday, still not using straps so my forearms are getting a beating. Today was chest, pushed hard on flat bench, trying to get my strength up. My weight is balancing out, woke up at 268 today, feeling nice and full with some abs still showing. Doing well considering the holidays and all, Monday will be when I buckle down and get strict. In my log I posted a question on timing of adex and nolvadex , I take it before bed and my injections are in the morning, is this okay?
Keep up the hard work boys and girls, it is motivating reading all your hard work.

I love the morning after.
It's like a confirmation. I mean, I know the muscles I was targeting yesterday. . But to feel them burn this morning is awesome.
Legs later today. I'm off work all week (had unspent vacation I had to take) so I'm making the best of it.

Eat eat and eat don't be afraid of eating unless you want to be a beach bodybuilder but if you want that head turning size and freak muscle mass eat eat and eat my friend and don't let anyone tell you different (if they do I bet they are under 200lbs )
Rest rest and rest your training all week and never take rest days, you need to change this mind set. You need to listen to these important standard methods of building tissue. I know your very motivated but train less eat more approach is king IMHO
Train like your training with me and every time you fail on a working set think I will bitch slap you and get my mate Kel to rape you. Now you getting what I mean lol!!!!
You lookat everyone for advice that's good but learn how you grow, once you see something what you like adapt it and make it better for you, no one person is the same. I disagree with most guys in the diet section but its what ever works for them and if they are happy they so be it, I eat what works for me and I train the way I do because it works and turn heads because of the hard work I put into this lifestyle. Try and experiment with things you'll soon learn because in 6 months and you come back in here and you haven't grown I will kick your arse, I will fly over and train you and make you eat and rest

Had to deal with ankle surgery @ end of November. The surgery was weight bearing afterwards, so I was only out of the gym for 4-5 days. However, without cardio and the inevitable Holiday eating I've packed on 15 pounds currently sitting @ 270, ugh. While not where I want to be, strength is through the roof on a positive note. Just got cleared to start the treadmill again last week, but very slow going still. Pluses & minuses to everything I guess...

Now I like what your saying
Let me give you something to think about over the New Year - when you see big freaky guys whether on this forum, pro's, on youtube or guys in the gym what is the difference you see with them than you. You find the answer and you will be on your way to be a Jedi

You will probably piss out most of it once you get back on track. I put on almost 20lbs of water from xmas eve morning to xmas night before bed. Between eating, drinking, and my estrogen getting a bit high I bloated up bad. I have pissed out most of it since and feel much better.

Started with flies few warm ups as it was cold. So did a feeler set then onto heavy weight.
Flat yates style flies for quite heavy controlled weight 2 sets and one drop.
Incline db press 2 sets one drop.
Decline same as above.
Then to finish heavy hammerstrength machine. Same as above.
Was training on my own and pushed through it fast tbh

Year end thoughts, feelings, rants and just good old BS
When I look back over the last year I think to myself well I've at least managed to maintain and add a few more lbs to my frame. Yes I do have old injuries and ive had a new one this year my RC but when you have been training any length of time and you push yourself to your max its just a by-product of what we do. I go to many different gyms to see certain people and when I do I see how a lot of guys are training and nothing has changed over the years the gyms are still full of idiots thinking they have found this new formula of new bizarre exercise what will make them into the next Phil Heath. These days I say nothing because it lands on deaf ears I just train in a fashion what builds me the most tissue possible to look a way I want to. It makes me laugh reading and watching some of these workouts some guys speak of and the ones who quote study after study showing that this gives you far more hypotrophy than any other training I just laugh and move on, 9 out of 10 of these guys are 200lbs sacks of cow shit. Fuking hell a good solid hard intense workout would fuking kill them and you know something else they stik with it because they read it works lol and what happens they don't grow and end up like most gym pricks going round in circles chasing their own arse looking for size then suddenly you hear them say " i'm not training to get bigger anymore" fuk off you cvnts your not training to gain size anymore because you have zero idea how to. You can't redesign the wheel what's built the top elite from decades of experience and experiments works, the difference is hardwork is something many don't want to do.
That went from my thoughts right in a rant lol so following suit and while I'm at it I'll carry on. Many times and I mean nearly daily I will start to write a reply to someone's question and just when I am about to post it I will delete it and say to myself fuk it I better not. The reason is I try my hardest to not get into debates what will end up in a shouting match, I often think fuk it carry on. This is mostly to do with diets, YES ive said it diets. The good old lean small wanna be bodybuilder sprouting off how to eat and gain size and build the most tissue possible its something what I try to stay out of because I have very different views than most and that's fine but you know something all this new shit what comes out is simply that shit and have yu seen the studies being posted about this and that diet shit. Have you ever seen one study done on a bodybuilder who uses gear, lives a bodybuilding lifestyle!!! not a chance because we are not normal people we are guys who just train now and again or some athletes what do 60mins of hypotrophy training without breaking a sweat, we are not normal we are far from normal and if you look back over time yes over time and listen watch from the guys who have been there and done it and have actually maintained something fuking freaky you will see what it takes. I'm not going to go into in this post but ive mentioned before a few times. It just makes me laugh when I see fuking retards who look like shit, talk shit and give study advice without any kind of fuking experience of what they have done themselves, WTF is all that about becaude no matter what study you read and this is something ive seen over the years for every one study you will find another saying something completely different. Again you can't change the wheel whats worked for decades and built some of the biggest guys what walk the earth will work again, there isn't any secret and the none thing what fuks me off is how something so small suddenly spreads around the internet all because its got references lol. Anyway before I blow a fuse lol i'll move on from this...
Do I think I am special? NO I don't...... do I think I know something better than the next guy? NO I don't but I will tell you without any doubt I have a heart of a lion for training, I have an immense passion for training hard and intense, I have been committed for 30yrs and been consistent in everything I've done . I've lived a bodybuilding lifestyle to the max and I've let it destroy things in my life I will never get back, things what I cant even talk about and without doubt I was wrong. I didn't have balance in my life bodybuilding was the one thing what controlled me so much but hey that's what path wanted to take and I took it and ran with it to the max. I know I am not normal in the head even if you take bodybuilding out of my life I know I am not normal in many ways its hard to say what but things are just never what you would class normal in my life what I have to deal with lol. I do have feelings of sadness for some guys I see talking about their steroid use at such a young age I cant explain what it can do to you if you are not in control of your direction. Do you think you will still be training no matter what happens in your life in 15 yrs time?? this is something you should ask yourself you may think you will be but truly will you and what do you think all this drug use will do to you if you go back to normal or what we class as normal. Please the young guys think about your future and don't do anything stupid learn, educate and understand what your risking. I know I go on and on with some of the younger guys about cycling but its not something what can be taken lightly imho. Done right it can change your life for the better without doubt but it can also have a dark side what you can see across many boards.
I hope to see everyone of you still here in 12 months time posting hardcore sessions, your experience, your cycles, your diets and your life experiences while going on this journey to achieve your goals. Even the guys who don't post but just read yeh you know who you are I see you all the time, well start posting and give your opinions and thoughts on the thread or ask questions that's what we are all here for. Within this thread there is some serious hardcore guys with unbelievable knowledge and experience so use them and get yourself moving forward. There is no such thing as a daft question we all started somewhere.
I love the motivation I hear in here it excites me it thrills me and it fuking gets me going to go that one step further into that pain zone. Happy New year to everyone who reads, contributes, asks questions and all the hardcore guys who help keep this place running like a one stop bodybuilding shop. Its not me who keeps this going its you guys who answer and post your OWN experience and views.
All the best
Marcus

Fcking inspiring write up Marcus and the part for me was youre section about advice I am getting the same q's from friends etc asking about training diet etc and I don't claim to know much but I hope from ye all I know a bit.
But you tell them etc how to eat and build training etc but they love to crack out the studies or the crap they read in a magazine rather than listening to actual experience etc

First off.....excellent post. Printed and will be posting it in my shop with my other motivation.
Really have enjoyed this past year with all of you and look forward to many more.
It's very true that many people are always after the quick fix.....newest routine, newest supplements, newest diet. Generally the only things that happen quick are mistakes.
As for all of the guys that jump onto this newest/latest/greatest bandwagon, it just shows a lack of willingness to work hard and apply a little diligence.
The challenges that each of us put ourselves through are their own reward, IMO. When you get done with a set that you thought you were going to crap out on.....be proud. That's yours and something no one can take away from you.
As for the guys standing around sipping the new megablast instantized what the f*ck ever while they rock out with Mr. Blister's latest arm routine, they just don't get it and probably won't until they plant their feet on the ground, put on their big boy pants, and get to work.
Again, really appreciate each of you; this is a very special and unique group that I'm proud to be a part of.Last edited by almostgone; 12-31-2014 at 02:16 AM.

Walked into a real sh!tstorm @ work tonight so I'm a little late posting up my lift, but things are starting to get better. When I was driving to work tonight enjoying the burn in my legs from my lift, I really wasn't planning on hitting the stairs and catwalks 3 stories up and having to go back and forth from ground level 4 times and walk the facility grounds twice, but maybe it burnt a few calories... I'm counting it as cardio anyway.
Started off with the usual lower body and a couple sets of crunches.
Leg extension-2 w/u, Work-10.5,drop,3.5,drop,4. Long hold at contraction on last rep.
Toe touches
Calves-2 w/u, Work1- 11-5.5-3.5,drop weight, Work2- 10-6.5-4.5 Thinking about bumping up this weight up for a couple of lifts and see how it feels.
Hacks-1 w/u, Work-7-4-2.5. New weight on these and got almost same # of reps as I did last time, so I'm kinda happy with that. May bump the weight again next session???
Leg press- 2 w/u, Work-10 straight reps and I was spent. My work set weight was slightly lower than last time but I think the increased weight on the hacks had something to do with that.
Leg curls- 1w/u, Work-8.5,drop,4,drop,3.5.
Didn't get the power thrusts in this lift due to stretching longer than I planned before my lift, but will get them in next time.
Time wasn't too bad...43 minutes not including stretches and crunches. Temperature=41°F and man did I make some sweat.Last edited by almostgone; 12-31-2014 at 03:11 AM.

Will be glad of getting back to normal with work etc so the gym can be done correctly again getting itchy feet. I ashamed to say I've missed legs the ladt 2 weeks for some reason have no motivation for them but the new year theres a new gym opening so.will be moving hate the atmosphere in the gym we are in at the mo
