The battle I go through regarding cycles and which direction I should go in is a constant fight within me but I am 100% certain now that I will not be trying to build and explode more in size. My goal is going to try and maintain what ive got and just condition myself more. My reasoning behind this is because I just don't want to use the amount of gear needed for me to push past into the 270lb - 280lb mark. My health is very important to me and ive had my fair share of issues in the past and the sheer amount of overload and drugs needed for me to spring board into those types of gains isn't worth the risk to me.
If I can maintain 245lbs - 255lbs in good condition I will be happy, its all about maintaining and not growing for me. Every bodybuilder has injuries or old aches and pains what limit progress after training the years I have and I just know I am going to cause something serious to happen and I really do think my health will suffer aswell. When I do go on cycle I wont be going over 500mgs -750mgs per week of test and that will be it except for a very low dose deca dose of around 200mgs for joint support. Ive been priming for a few weeks now and I am just about to increase things a bit more and increase my cardio and add in further low carb days, this will be something I will carry on until I feel I am ready mentally and hopefully slowly open up the growth window to allow me to get the best out of my cycle when I start.
I still hovering around the 257 -260lb mark and will slowly attack this via my priming and should be dropping this down to 2245ish-250ish mark but I will know when I'm ready in myself I wont need a scale or time frame to tell me. I will also use the next few weeks to try and strengthen up my RC's and heal my shoulder but its something what I train around these days but its not really effecting my shoulders only my upper chest slightly which does piss me off but going to carry on working with pre exhaust and also supersets to help this issue.

Good lift, felt like I was a tad stronger on this chest session vs. my last chest lift. Lower body stretching and R/C exercises before lift.
Incline flyes s/s with incline press:
2 warm up/ feeler sets of flyes
Work- flyes-8.5, presses-4.5,drop,3.5-2.5. Having less problem with right shoulder wanting to cam forward at failure reps, so that's good.
Flat flyes s/s with flat press:
2 warm up/feeler sets of flyes
Work-flyes-8.5, presses-3.75,drop, 3.5-3.5 w/ long 5 count neg. on last half rep.
Kel's leaning/standing flyes- Only got 6.5 reps per arm. Pecs cramped up during the squeeze at the top. I went really light w/ these because my chest was already roached...by light, I'm talking 25# d'bell. Really can feel the upper fibers in chest take the punishment.
21 minutes not including stretches/RC exercises and I'm obliterated, gents!!! I promise it was 21 minutes of anticipation, pain, and frustration @ failure points.Last edited by almostgone; 12-25-2014 at 08:50 AM.

Markus you are an animal, I think putting your health first is a very wise decision, plus I just don't like the direction BB is going. The size game has completely destroyed aesthetics IMO, I think the weights you are planning will give you a better look overall, as well as preserve health. Keep at it big man, you know you the best.
Off day today, just finished up gifts with the kids and about to eat some breakfast. Drank too much last night at my inlaws Christmas dinner, feeling it today, lol. Holding lots of water still, 272 this morning, muscles are feeling fuller and tighter. Shoulders tomorrow, going to go hard and try and get my caps to pop and swell.

Well guys just caught back up on my reading in hear. Glad everyone's still going strong but its seems RC issues are popping up like crazy. Last week I could'nt even lift my arm up. Its been almost two months since I have done laterals or anything like it. I have been doing SOME but not enough RC exercises, I need to step it up, a matter of fact after I finish typing this I will go in the attic and get my bands out.
So I had said I was squatting again with my old training partner, well he sent me a back pic that motivated me like never before. So I went in the old box of goodies and busted out some d-bol I had. I started running it at 30mgs ed and its working great. Im about seven days in and Im starting to feel it already. I have been on 5iu's of gh for two months and its starting to crank, I see my body transforming right in front of me. My var just landed and I threw that in at 30mgs also. Lastly my prop and deca will land soon and I will go to 150mgs of prop eod and 250mgs of deca ew. My wife is running 2iu's of GH and 5mgs of var, so its like old times, we are killing it !! Feels great !! Whats in store for the new year....getting BIG !!

Hey marcus, how much does alcohol affect gains? My brother has a couple of beers just about every day after work, and I was just curious? I know the few times I have drank it seems I get really sore.

A drink here and there isn't going to do you any harm but in all honesty when I am fully dedicated with my diet and spending a small fortune on food, supps and training with immense intensity why would I use something whats going to set me back. Why make 3 steps forward and take 2 backwards. I personally don't drink, last year I didn't have more than 2 drinks the whole year. I don't want to put more stress on my body without any benefit because for me getting pissed or having a drink doesn't do anything for me, I feel like shit my diet goes off and it hits my training and motivation so I stay clear from it. To maintain what ive built is extremely hardwork I cant stress enough how fuking hard it is for me so everything I do is geared towards building and maintaining what ive got.
Now not everyone is like me and I know many people drink and that's fine but how is it really effecting you, if your fine and you don't see any negatives carry on but I can chill out and relax with my lady very easily without alcohol. I might sound a bit obsessive with things sometimes but its just the way I am, I know I'm not normal for what ever you call normal but I try my best to live a bodybuilders lifestyle in everyway because being consistent in everything you do gives results.
If your asking me if you should have a drink everyday I would say hell no pull yourself together and eat some fuking food instead WITH SUBSTANCELast edited by marcus300; 12-25-2014 at 12:50 PM.

Kel, thanks for bringing up the standing dumbbell flyes. I only got around 6 reps/arm at the end of my chest lift, but it was 6 good reps.... Pecs cramped up on the last reps.

Read your post earlier about working your shoulders with the Thera-bands...that should be a great thing for your R/C. When I ruptured my bursa, the PT exercises, broomstick stretches, and ice packs were a huge help. My l. shoulder had lost so much ROM that the ortho was on the verge of admitting me for a procedure. Basically knock you out and attempt to move the shoulder while your under.
