Lower body and back stretching
Incline flyes superset w/ incline d'bell press-2 w/u, Work-flyes-8.5, press-3.5-3.5-1.5
Flat flyes superset w/ flat press- 2 w/u, Work- flyes-7, press-3.5-4.5-2.5
After I put the bells up, I wanted to see if I had anything left. I set my bench to incline and grabbed a fairly light set of bells but could only manage 6.5 reps.
I'm trying to get the reps on the presses up a little higher before a rest pause, but my right shoulder tries to roll forward. Guess I'll keep plugging away at it until I get there. Feels like the burn is literally crawling across my chest.
I had the usual shake post lift and will grab a small meal in an hour or so.
19 minutes not including the stretching.Last edited by almostgone; 12-07-2014 at 10:43 PM.

Finally back in the gym today, had a nasty head cold that kicked my arse all week. The forearm seems to be healed up fine, didn't feel anything out of sorts with it today. Did a back workout, nothing heavy, kept my reps around 12, just getting a squeeze in.
Chins-12,12,10,8
Hammer Row Machine-4x12@270
Pulldown-4x12@200
Cable Row-4x12@180
Behind the head pull down, super set with dips- 4x12
Felt good to be back at it, my lungs and sinuses are still a little congested, but not real bad. Chest tomorrow.

Fcking on fire tonight. Chest.
Started with rc warm up then into warm up incline press.
Buddies son was back training with us he's only 16 but a.beast and great inspiration to us both he lifted heavy tonight for his age and his intensity was out there so he made me put a fire in my mind it was insane.
One heavy intense set with a dd drop but was ruined tbh on inclines.
Then decline same as above was really heavy and intense pushed through some pain and intensity was epic chest exploded tbh.
Flat to finish with cable crossovers supersetted was crazy tbh completely drained by this stage steam pouring off me there was no one in the gym.so we could be as loud as we liked which helped a lot it was like yates blood and guts ha.
Then 10 mins cardio

Been missing a while. Getting back in tomorrow, shoulders/back hopefully. Unless the new year res punks start early, then it will be legs (nobody ever trains legs).

On a side note, my favorite part of being on trt , compared to low t..
Before treatment, if I missed 1 week of lifting, I would have to lower my weights at least 10 lbs. I always thought it was normal, and hated missing because of it.
Just recently, I missed over a month of chest days (I got a few shoulder, back, and leg days in but the benches are always occupied it seemed). Not only was I able to put the same weight on the bar as my last workout, I was able to get an extra rep.
If I can get my shit together and focus, I'll be doing great things

No sir, that's how they had it posted on YouTube. I wish the strongman sport was televised/as widely watched in the US. The wife ordered me a couple of strongman DVDs from Amazon UK for Christmas...looking forward to watching them before then if I can find where she stashed them.

If I get out of here on time, I plan to get some decent rest and hit legs this evening.

Had some hydrotherapy to day on the shoulder, RC exercises and towel stretches. Power jet also which seem to work zero pain once my body got use to the heat it was transferring

So angry. Gym was so packed you could barely walk around the free weights. Got a half way decent session, but I fear this will be the norm

Did back last night in 38 mins which was insane. The gym was busy so forced me into changing round my routine which was cool tbh.
Warm up was wide pull down really feeling the contraction.
Then yates style close grip.pull downs for the squeeze. 2 heavy sets. One drop
Then onto db rows 2 heavy sets
Bb bent over rows for one set was in bits by then.
Hypers and then home.
Had to sit in the car for 5 mins to get my breathing back to normal ha
