BG is going through a personality transformation but believe me his underlying anger issues are still there you just got to press the right button and run, oh and if he's on tren just stay clear

Drinking a shake w/ coffee and some L-arginine and headed to the shop to lift. Clarky's post and Marcus' post of their last arm session has made me want to break off some of that pain for myself.
Planned on hitting it yesterday evening but my sister-in-law thought she was going into labor. Looks like it was just too much holiday excitement, though....of course the wife is on pins and needles. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Lets us know how you get on
Make sure on the first exercise which will be bent over cable CC that you really take yourself to failure then go into forced and negs and really destroy those biceps. The cable will keep a constant tension on the heads so a strong mind set will keep you going. Pre exhaust and dig deep

Last night was back it was a decent session but this week I've been up late a few nights so I was tired ans helped a buddy fit an engine to a car too yesterday which required some lifting lol.
Started with rack pulls for something diff no crazy weight but had a nice pull on the muscles.
Then cloe grip yates style lat pull down. Then seated rows feeling the squeeze.
Single rows. Then the punching bag to let out some anger lol.
Today will be cardio and arms

Whew.....that is going to leave a mark. I think I hit the bent over CCs just like what you've described. I was back far enough so that the weight never touched the bottom stop; it was on the biceps the entire time. I really felt it down @ the insertion near elbow during the lifts, but dang when I managed to get my sleeves off there was a decent pump going!
As usual I did some lower body/leg stretching and also some biceps stretching.
Bent over cable CC- 2 w/u, Work-6 strong reps, and 4 cheat reps w/ slow neg.
D'bell incline curls-2 w/u, Work-1.5,drop,1.5,drop,3-2.5. I thought my w/u set was going to be my work set.
Seated d'bell curls-1 w/u, Work-3.5-1.5-1.5, 2 partial reps. Biceps are completely roached @ this point.
Seated hammer curl-1 w/u, Work-3.5, drop,1.5-1.5.
Triceps pressdown w/rope- 2w/u, Work-3,drop,2,drop,2,drop,3.5.
D'bell skullcrusher-1w/u, Work-5.5,drop,3-2.5
Close grip Smythe-1 w/u, Work-7-3-1.5.
Arms feel very good.....at the moment. I had said I was going to give my last revision of my arm lift 4-6 weeks, but I REALLY like this, so I'm going to see where it takes me.
50 minutes not counting the stretching. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Last 12 months, I'd say I've gained about 8 lbs. A little fat, but probably close to an inch on my arms.
I started trt in late January. started your h.i.t. sometime mid year.
My diet hasn't been great, I rarely do cardio, and lifting has been absolutely inconsistent.
I'll try to find an old picture for comparison

Good sessions and progress boys, I am on injury leave today. The arm is sore, there is definitely some damage at the tie in to the elbow/biceps area, very tender on the under belly. I have to help my daughter move today so I will have to be very careful not to stress it out any more. I think next week will be lighter single arm movements and either do light weight or nothing with the left arm. I wont be doing that much weight on shrugs again, have to rethink my training strategies and be smarter and safer in the future.

Believe I would think about putting a wrap on to keep anything from aggravating it. Possibly treat it w/ ice for a few days if you need some pain relief. There's a sticky on making a decent ice pack in the injury and rehab forum.
Definitely focus more on slow, intense movements w/ a nice contraction vs. the number of plates you're moving, IMHO.
Hope it gets right for you. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I did shoulders, back, and a light arm session yesterday. They're all fcked. I'm glad the house deal is over, I wouldn't be able to do anything today.
Eating now, going to go for a cardio session in about an hr.
Noteworthy, I've bumped my o.h.p. up to 155 lbs. wasn't able to finish the set, but I've learned to embrace the failure

Going to have a week off from the gym soon, it actually coincides with a busy schedule anyway so I am deciding to take a full weeks break from the iron. Will only be doing rehab on my shoulder. Going to still hit the food hard like always not really bothered about any fat gain because it wont be an issue due to starting a new eating plan in the new year. Don't be alarmed guys I will be back hitting it hard and intense but at this stage my body really needs a break. I know I don't post the weights I lift but I do push my limits every week with weight and intensity beyond believe.

That's the most important part of the set, at failure is when your muscles are using everything they got to move that weight, it has no other alternative but to grow. Its all about learning how to get to failure and if you can take the amount of stress it takes to go into this zone and beyond.

It used to embarrass me, when I'd fail on a set. Now, I just smile, peel a couple of weights off, and fail again.
All the while, imagining big marcus screaming in my ear.
It's pretty motivational
