I do know this. I lift as much weight as I physically can for 6-8 reps on my working set. Last rep was not a struggle, it was impossible. I then rest 20 seconds and repeat. I do this until I can only do 1-2 reps. I then drop the weight so I can repeat. I do this until I feel I have abused the muscle enough to go onto next lift. Resting minimal on the same exercise even when I drop weight.

Today after legs, I had to lean against the machines to walk over and pick up my towel and papers. I almost felt crippled. I was soaked to my knees. Maybe I could of went and done some super light squats or leg presses but mentally I was done.

I leave feeling pride. People make comments on my sweat when I leave the gym. I kinda laugh knowing that most of them will never be willing to do what I am doing just to feel that sense of pride I have when I sit in my truck to drive home.

I never felt like I work as hard as kel or marcus but u work out harder than I ever have before. If I do this every time, there is no way in hell I won't grow.
I think we can't go into the gym thinking that anyone trains w/more intensity than you(yourself) if not your slready syking yourself out - when I go to the gym size goes out the window - im there to train harder and better than anyone - including myself from the day prior!

I think this is key to anyone's success - we all hear how confident Marcus/Kel is about no one being able to train as intense as he does(he's probly right lol) but I too feel the same way! Confidence, Balls & attitude go a long way! Just wanted to share - that I've learned that thru my Father and in this thread! Never count yourself short-I know you know this...

You know when your training and that little voice in your head tells you to stop because you can't do any more or the burn is to intense, ,, well that's just the beginnings of a true working set.

Love that! Mine is leg day...when you puke and go back for two more rounds of whatever just made you puke only struggling that much more for each and every millimeter while making the ugliest face in the world you know you have given it all you have. No stopping until that happens...the end. Especially on leg day.

Used to get embarrassed...now is like a badge of glory, don't even bother going to leg press or squat rack without first grabbing the closest garbage can and some paper towels...no shame at all and don't care what anyone says here is a pic from last July training partner took.

This thread is moving way to fast. Can't reply to everything I want to. Keep it up guys very motivating.

Tried to save marcus videos...need to search it on cpu so I can save it.

    Shoulders tonight.

Strecthing and warms with rc movements.

Hammer strength press. 2 warms 1 feel 2 w DD (3 plates for 6 reps on working)

Bent over db lats 1 feel 2w DD

Under hand db front raise (tried db on these instead of small straight bar) 2 w one drop

    Pec/Dec 2 w DD

    Smith upright rows 2 w

Shoulders are fried. Upright rows were very difficult by the time I got to them.

Have some studying to do on the breathing techniques marcus posted.

He really does explain it well! I actually caught myself trying it on some feeler sets today(I just have to get that sideways breathing down through my stomach) interestingly though I noticed my chest doesn't move as much as I thought while performing my set... I can see how it increases power by how rigid the core gets! Thx Big Man! I will let you know when I get this down
Nach, whenever you get a chance, practice drawing the ribcage down and pushing out the obliques. It will become a natural instinct fairly quickly. Learning to breathe while "standing strong/ core expanded" is a tad more involved, but soon follows.
I'm still working with it myself as I can tell this is a great technique to help me move more weight safely.

Deferred my chest session until the afternoon and spending a little time with the wife and the beasts.
But, I do have a question for everyone. I've been using my old APT wrist wraps on chest days ( mainly for flyes) because my wrists want to wimp out during the deep portion of the lift.
For those of you that use wrist wraps, what kind of wraps and what length wraps do you use? My old wraps are long enough to wrap around my wrist ~4 times and served me well but my thumb loops have shot the crapper.

Edit: Just wanted to share that even though I'm working one night this weekend and day shift on the Fourth of July (I despise day shift), I do get 2 days off at the end of this coming week.

Shoulders and arms today, was a good one, couldn't even splash water on my face after I was so pumped.

Smith press: 1 warm, 1 feel, 1 single rep then dropped for 10, 1 working. Tried 3 plates and only got 1.5.

Bar shrug: 1 warm, 2 feel, 1 working 1 drop. High reps and good control, stopped at 5 plates cause my low back is sore from yesterday.

Side cable: 3 working, first time doing these and they felt good.

Rear db: 2 feel, 1 working.

    Db press: 2 working.

Db standing row: 1 feel, 1 working.

Vbar push down: 1 feel, 2 working

Alt db curl: 1 feel, 1 working, 1 burn.

Over head vbar xt: 1 feel, 2 working.

Preacher machine: 2 feel, 1 working.

1 set of dips to failure at 25.

I was very swollen and felt like a monster, I love what the tren does to my physique. I actually start to look like a body builder which is hard at my height. Ate lots yesterday and weighed in at 272 so lots of energy in the tank. Rest day tomorrow, have a stag and doe tonight so there will be recovery time needed.

Ever since I've learned the mind controls everything(sends the signals to activate all the muscles) - when I have the chance I'll get someone to poke me in the middle of my back during the movement(Thx for tip Marcus) it's made a huge difference - I can actually feel my back working much more synchronized!

I just re-read his post on training and the mental state this year along with Dorian's vids and I noticed a difference in soreness as well as contractions and more rapid fatigue. I'm curious if anyone else noticed the soreness difference.

I used to get that tight lactic acid type soreness where even when relaxed my muscles felt tight and to flex caused a more acute ouch.

Now, when I'm sedentary they don't feel that way (besides legs). Rather, the soreness is much more deep when I flex and less superficial feeling. Almost like the muscle tissue just got rocked but isn't crusted with lactic acid. I like it.

Legs today and fck me it was insanely humid in the gym.

Sweat was pouring out of me at an obscene amount.

So a few warm up sets of leg press. Then 2 heavy slow hard sets I was using the breathing technique which really helped on the negative of the movement felt way better than normal. The second set was very hard fought but worth it. The a dd of high reps slow movements.

Then onto hamstring machinw same as above two heavy control sets the pain was immense and blood was really really flowing hard into the muscles the squeeze was intense. Then a dd again nearly fell off the machine when I went to get up off the machine.

Then onto leg extensions by this stage was I was tired and it was really getting hard to push but hit ot hard and pushed through I had the devil Marcus screaming in my head to fck up those quads so I dug deep and found those extra resources that you can only find when you have to will to push through. Seriously sore after this exercise.

Then lungs these where the wost one and 3/4 of sets done was about 5 secs from puking finished off with body weight lunges and then some hammy exercises to finish.
