Oh I've got others I'll relate when it's relevant too. I've met and spent time with a good group of the older big time guys.

Re the NOC in Florida it was kinda cool. Both Mentzer brothers when introduced walked from the back of the auditorium down each aisle at the same time. Wearing the exact same outfits. Jeans, overly tight black T shirts and their trademark glasses. Both in their prime. Really neat visual.

Have you ever been in the gym and just about to do a all new heavy working set and you get under the bar or hold the bells and think I'm going to fail this its really heavy?
I think we all have been there and done this one and we all know what happens you fail the weight and the set is a complete waste of time. This happened to me when I was doing a lot of bulking years ago and pushing some serious weight and everytime I failed I would get up and be so angry with myself. It would drive me insane I just failed and really wanted to go and do some bag work to get the aggression out of me. I would tell my partner I'm not done and going to try again and get a good 6 reps out, guess what,,,,,,,,,,,,, weight was lifted in a controlled manner with ease and even forced reps at the end to finish and now I am looking at a all time new working set weight.

Its all down to your mental approach and motivation to generate the intensity within yourself to perform the movement. First time around you fail even before you held the weight because you already told yourself in your head. Half of this game is the mental state you put yourself in before and during your work-out. Why waste a work out with just going through the motions when your there to build muscle tissue and put extreme overload on your muscles.

I've hit on this subject before but I think its very important to revisit it. I mentally prepare myself to go to war and I know I am going to train has hard as I possibly can. Before I go to the gym I watch youtube videos of pro's training, I go through the routine in my head and what I am going to put myself through and when I am in the gym just about to lift I think of things what really piss me off so my adrenalin starts to flow, I know I wont fail because I wont let myself fail. I'm there for one reason and if your not training progressively your not going to succeed in achieving your goals of building the biggest body possible,so why waste a work-out

Dig deep and find the mental inspiration to put your body under this extreme assault, in the end the results will be worth it.

Once you start getting big and your weight is high it gets harder and harder to build tissue and I go through hell to maintain and build new tissue at my size so my main concern when cutting bf is preserving my muscle tissue what I've gone through hell to obtain. When I train I am totally focused on recruiting every muscle fibre possible and creating a serious overload on my body were it has no alternative but to grow bigger and larger to cope with the extreme intense overload I put it through. One thing I always do no matter what my goals are is to feed my workouts and fill the tank to promote muscle tissue growth.

This is my biggest problem.... My biggest recorded weight last year was 270 and I still had abs and not just outlines of abs.... I never went over 12.5% bf but then when I cut for my show I dropped all the way down to 223.8lbs.... I lost so much size and muscle tissue and I've been doing the same thing for the last three cuts to under 6%.... Once I break 8-9% I just shed muscle.!

I've been there many times and its a big mental block you got and we all have the issues of feeling and looking smaller. I was that bad I wouldn't even take my top off because I felt so small when I looked in the mirror. I wouldn't come off gear I even lied to people that I was off cycle but still running compounds to hold on that scale weight. This was a time when people would cross over or move out of the way when I was walking down the street, I couldn't get pants to fit my legs all I use to wear was bodybuilding clothes but youhave to take a break, you have to come down in weight to move forward. It will hurt you metally and it will drive you insane but for your health's sake you have to do it. Doesn't matter if you feel good now after you have given blood you need a long time off cycle or at the most 100-150mgs per week with no AI or anything else. The way you was talking you reminded me of myself years ago and I had a feeling you would feel better with some blood out but its time to drop everything and take whats coming on the chin. Get healthy and get your body feeling normal again and then you can springboard from this state into some serious size but you wont while you constantly using gear. You will have to eat more, you will have to train harder and have more rest days and you will drop some size and strength but you got to get this in your head and do it straight away. I think its more mental with you which isn't discussed much but we all have issues with how we look and how big we want to be. Its a huge hurdle to get over and I will admit it took me years and I also lost a lot of precious things in my life with my drive and focus for being big. I remember one friend sitting me down and saying look around you, do you see anyone your size, do you see anyone lighting the weights you lift, can you see everyone looking at you when you start training and I remember saying look at him though over there he's huge and he turned around and said he is half the size of you and 50lbs lighter. Eventually it sank in that I was a big and it was all in my head. I knew I had to stop doing what I was doing before I seriously hurt myself and using gear all the time isn't good for you.

Marcus just read what you wrote to Human Project in your diary and I am not trying to be a brown nose or anything but like I have told you before I think you should write a book. Your experience, advice, and the way you articulate it is spot on and stellar. Definitely look up to you and if the forum owners aren't giving you some sort of compensation for your contributions I think they should start since you are an asset. The forum would not be what I feel it is without your advice, knowledge, and presence.

I respect the fact you told me your private life restricts you from writing a book and going public but I just wanted to tell you again. Once again I am not trying to kiss your ass just am the type of person that gives credit where credit is due. Thanks for helping me with all my questions and bothers.

I respect the fact you told me your private life restricts you from writing a book and going public but I just wanted to tell you again. Once again I am not trying to kiss your ass just am the type of person that gives credit where credit is due. Thanks for helping me with all my questions and bothers.

Thanks chi very much for your comments. I'm very honoured you said such nice things. Much appreciated
