    OBS,
your whole physique screams for someone to write a whole brand new genre of horror or, a new super hero thing. Its just that your musculature is greater than the pencil-necked geeks who write comic books could foresee.
One thing I've noticed, the ones in comic books, like my man Cyclops (X-men), have musculature on their large bones (wrists) which are ratio-wise equal with the body builders who have little bones (wrists).
Your hard work is showing and providing me with inspiration.
Please, take good care of yourself

Started with traps today, it's always brutal for me to work traps it takes lot of energy out of me, maybe I need to split it out of shoulders day.

Mounted oly bar over safe spot of squat rack, one plate per side to warm up, two plates working set (bit too much but didn't consider oly bar weight).

First set only four reps (just too heavy to properly handle), second dropped 10kg, 6 reps, drop 10, third set 10 reps, same weight fourth set 6 reps, RP, 3-4 further reps.

Left one plate per side on safety spot and grabbed a couple 10kg dbs.

Three supersets of lateral db raises into upright rows, holding on top and slowly down, that squeezed my caps for good.

Did a set of plate front raises, left rack and reached shoulder machine, didn't like it last time but felt better this time, loaded 60kg, two working set 10ish reps changing grip.

Tris - tried the cable pulldown but didn't like it, had a couple working sets to volitional failure anyway.

I'll stick to crushers to next time. Planned overhead extension but tris were unresponsive at that point, and left elbow felt weird.

Throw three sets of hamstring curls at the end high reps to burning pain, just to activate them, hams feel like they have never been used before.

Not really what I had planned, again I need to train smarter and distribute my energies more efficiently, felt half spent already after traps.

    Gets quiet some times.

I just got home from the gym. Chest night. I love hitting the gym late on a Th, F, Sa, or Su. So few people work out then so I always get the equipment I want.

    Did cardio this morning.

Back in my routine and it feels so good.

Last week was a bit sh!tty. Family in town, my mom stayed with us. Several end of the school year events for my son. Just a hectic pace. First thing to go was sleep. Next was cardio. Weight workouts and diet tied for 3rd place. By then I had a cold coming on, too. Depression hit me pretty hard by Wednesday. And I'm back on pain killers.
For me when sleep goes, everything falls apart.
    Bad effing week.

Any Arrested Development fans? I keep thinking I'm ready for anustart

Traps are hell sore at 12hr mark. I'd say very good of a workout last night.

I'm hitting mon-fri (or that's the plan) at about 20pm, more free space indeed when it's late.

I don't know how much the substances I take are playing with it but had a pretty bad bout when back home from gym last night. However I've got callous to the lows (have a decade long experience with depression), it's like my brain developed some sort of safe exit button, so that I only get brief episodes then I'm spontaneously back to normal, or what my usual normal is.

It might sound absurd but I get to appreciate some facets of it, despite the grief from past memories surfacing to consciousness (that's the trigger) I would feel emotionally deeper and richer, as opposed to everyday numbness I usually have. I find it useful in that I get to remind from whence I come and where I'm heading, cause I often appear to lose track, led astray by BS from daily life.

Nothing to report as such for me today. No training or cardio today or tomorrow. Goinf out for dinner tomorrow night though which is messing with my carb rotation but it would have been impolite to say no. Life gets in the way sometimes

It was a busy week for me as well. The radar was down at work and selling and buying a new camper. Hitting the gym this morning with my son-in-law to do arms and then cardio. Then I have to change the brakes on my truck.

What do you use the camper for? I'm looking at getting one again if I have to chase pipelines. They have some great Floorplans out now. I always tend to buy used and save money on them.

I skate for cardio usually. Been at the same hockey rink 20+ years. They let me skate whenever a rink is open so that often means when they're closed in the morning. Works out well for me
Yesterday was 15min HIIT, 30 LISS. Today is 45 LISS

    Sometimes I swim for cardio

    What's your usual cardio, guys?

Walking up and down the stairs at work feels like cardio to me

Smart ass answer is sex and running to a bathroom.
Real answer is going to a woman's class at the gym for a less mils class or something.
Great music and lots of motivation in those classes.

I love skating! And at my age - with a litany of sports injuries over the years - it's a good choice in terms of being easy on the joints
