I see the occasional patient on Robaxin for muscle relaxation, i.e. help with spasmotic pain. Honestly though I am not very familiar with it in terms of its real efficacy. Usually patients on Robaxin are taking multiple other pain meds and CNS-depressing drugs so it's not easy to see how much it is helping them.

yeah, when it comes to pain, drugs are often prescribed like that. actually, it's only within the past two years that the mechanism of action for Tylenol was discovered...
affect muscle growth. i wouldn't be able to say my man, sorry. I'd be surprised if that kind of information is even available.
why are you taking it? low back pain? that's the usual..

I'm not gone yet... I have a little bit. Going to a restaurant my buddy owns. Good healthy food. I may not get a printout of the macros, but I can stuff my face knowing it's okay to do so.

generally, I am skeptical that muscle relaxers do anyone with minor muscle spasm any good. I've seen people with spinal cord injury getting Baclofen by intrathecal (into spinal fluid) pump, might help them. Generally anti-inflammatories help more, but they have a reputation for inhibiting muscle repair; then again, usually only taking them for a limited time.

no i have a pain in the back of my head/neck that radiated to my jaw and my inner ear. also numbness in my shoulder and tightness in my trap all on the right side. shit starts pulsing so bad and i cant lift or do anything physical because of it. my guess was TMJ because i have most of the symptoms but he thinks i strained something.
also my alt levels on my last test a year ago was 60 and the high range was 40..

60 is a very very minimal elevation with so many possible mundane causes that it does not even merit changing any habit at all; just indicates that it should be repeated after a few weeks to make sure not continuing to increase. it may lead to test for hepatitis C.
so neck pain, same basic process, spinal pain. pain in the shoulder and trap suggests cervical spine radiculopathy. C3 radiates to neck and jaw, trap, C4 to trap and delt..Last edited by scibble; 02-12-2009 at 08:04 PM.

IHOP is food for the morning when you crawl out of the club drunk... it soaks up some of the booze and then you throw it up to feel a little better.

carb cycling to a degree...but most days near the end were down at 150 carbs or less. cheat meals are very important in contest prep for a variety of reasons. Up to 5 weeks out at least. Keeps you on track mentally and gives your metabolism the kick it needs to keep the fire burning or a week.
