Fvvvvvvvck, was planning on relaxing and stretching this evening, but Mrs. AG just hit me up to take her to her sister's house tonight so she can watch the Clemson game and celebrate her b'day. Technically, her b'day isn't until tomorrow but she claims the whole month of October as her b'day.
Probably going to be waaay too many people there, she has a shitload of relatives.

I hope one of the sister-in-laws neighbors has a dog outside. I'll go hang out with it. Defo not a fan of crowds. If I have a purpose or a task to do and there are lots of people around, it's not a problem. Put me in a room full of people just hanging out....... not so much. I want to scream like Homer Simpson, punch myself in the groin, and run headfirst through the nearest wall.

I can completely understand where your coming from AG! It's not a fun thing for me either - one wrong word said or anything like that just sets me off sometimes and it is definitely not a fun thing to do! I'm usually in a corner by myself of hanging out with a pet(mostly the dogs too)lol

so, I just got back from my appointment for my neck and shoulder... they said they want an MRI on the neck due to maybe a disc problem they can't see on the X-Ray... also getting an MRI on my shoulder since it's been so long and they seem to think my shoulder is causing the neck issues. Anti-inflammatories as well as ice/heat I said don't give me any pain meds due to the recent things that have happened and from my early past!

So I go back on the 19th to get my shoulder looked at and follow up on my neck in a few wks

Hey fellas(Marcus Kel AG Cape Cuz Clarky) I want to ask about rest days and eod lifting early in as opposed to 5on 2off etc... do you or would this be a better idea since I'm just coming back and still having the pain in both areas(BPs) or would 2on 1 off be ok? I'm just trying to be as carful as possible until I build my strength back up and do some PT in between on neck and shoulder??
It's greatly appreciated guys and anyone who'd like to chime in please feel free :$)

Personally, I would opt for EOD lifting and don't overdo the presses and probably squatting if you're a high bar squatter and you have neck and shoulder issues.
EOD lifting will let you better evaluate each session and how you feel afterward. That's just my perspective.

This is exactly what I was thinking as well - then once ready I can start switching things around based on how I feel so I'm in agreement with you AG! Thanks big guy, your info & knowledge is always appreciated

And happy B-day to your wife

Nach, i would agree with AG her mate. You are a very strong fella and very strong minded when it comes to BB. The most i would say would be 2 on 1 off like you said
so on a eod training it would be 4 out the 7 days training or 5 days training on the 2 on 1 off.

There is no rush mate just be careful, we all know how much you love this and how much you want this, your health comes first mate don't make your injurys worse big guy.

I absolutely agree with you both and thanks for the breakdown for me to look at b/c 4days of training for say 2wks will be plenty especially since I don't really know how to ease into it except for pressing haha

I'll then probly go to 2on 1 off and get an extra day if arms in for a wk or 2 then try 3on on off then 2on 1off so it'd be like a 5day split just different days off and bit in a row!

Lmk if youse think of anything else, as well! Very thank you

Slight incline lying db skulls 1 working +rp

Tri pd 1 working +rp 1 drop straight bar

Behind head tri ex straight bar 1 working 1 drop

Also did 3 sets of very slow light 5kg neg, only doing 10 reps kel as i could feel it by them. I never did them all at the one time i did them during my session.

Good. Keep it light and up the reps a bit before you up the weight. Avoid any exercise that may irritate it, no matter what body part it may be. Remember to do the light neg's daily.

Had therapy today myself for my hamstring. Can feel improvement already which is nice. PT said once bruising / blood etc is out of the way it will speed up as well. He'll be setting me up for laser therapy as well soon. It'll help it heal faster, remove swelling and help with collagen synthesis as well. Look forward to that.

Is it like the Class IV laser, Kel? That's what the chiro/physio used on my shoulder as best as she could without spending a lot of time with it focused at my ink. (Don't really think it was an issue with the tattoos unless there is a bunch of metal oxides in the ink).
Anyway, it did help. At first, I was skeptical that it had any advantage over my IR lamp, but the heat did seem to penetrate deeper, especially when she cranked up the wattage.

    Morning fellas

Chest and bis are more sore today than yesterday - loving that - shoulder isn't too bad but gonna take some alieve in a moment and hit delts and tris today - I started a new sezeire med yesterday and it knocked me out... I was supposed to take two doses but could only manage one lol(kepra is the name) but oh well I'll get used to it

Think I may do eod for a couple wks but if I feel ok go on and do 2on 1off that always worked well but don't want to push it too quickly ATM

Not sure the class yet AG. Will find out more on Monday as I'll research it and blast the therapist with questions then. Anything that will speed this shit up is fine by me.
