LMAO, I was gifted with an oversized bladder and heart.....and belly. When I had the pacer put in, I was restricted to the bed for a good 12 hours or so. Don't know if you're familiar with the men's urinals for use while you're stuck in the bed, but I filled up one immediately after surgery, and had to call for a second because I filed up the first one and still had to go. Ended up filling up the first one and 3/4 of the second one. Think it was from the meds they used in an attempt to sedate me (they failed miserably); Versed, Fentanyl, and Dilaudid. My body just laughed and I was wide awake the whole time.

I guess it’s like most other things in life, what you grew up and are familiar with is typically something you enjoy or are at least comfortable with. I personally love it, especially on a really hot day. “Sweet” is a relative term, even in the south. I don’t like mine super sweet. I used to say my grandmother made syrup, not sweet tea. It was just too much. I’ve started drinking unsweetened iced tea with no artificial sweeteners. I like my coffee black, no sweetener, cream, milk...nothing.
I like hot teas as well. The earl grays I’ve tried, love’em!

All this work you speak of...is this to pay for your sweet tea habit? If so I am about to start a Go Fund Me account for you because just thinking about how much you work makes me tired. I think I had one day where I had read about all your working and was like, man, I think I'm too tired for a session from thinking about how much AG works.

Comments:
Another brutal workout, I had to catchup on my cardio and some other things since my back workout on Tuesday killed and I hurt my quad on squats. Cardio actually went ok with my quad. I wrapped it pretty tight and it didn’t bother it much. I had a massive massive pump, which was the way I designed it. It appears I’m finally starting to lean out as my vascularity is coming in good. Again I should be much leaner and vascular at this point but I guess as we age it doesn’t bounce back like it use too.“If you can't explain it to a second grader, you probably don't understand it yourself.” Albert Einstein

Getting ready for work here in a few. Woke up with my lower back all jammed up from squats a couple of days ago. Decided to opt for stretching and rolling tonight and will lift tomorrow night.
Working a little later hours this weekend and starting back up a few hours early Sun.night/Monday morning. Hopefully, this will be easy $$, but we'll see. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Question for y'all since we're discussing fluid intake and bodily functions. As I posted before, I drink a pretty decent quantity of water and unsweetened tea, also usually about 2-4 liters of water while lifting.
Anyway, after working larger body parts like legs or back, I will dump tremendous amounts of fluid during the 8 hours or so after I lift, waaay more than usual. Anyone else do the same?
I'm not retaining fluid/visible edema, heart seems to be ticking along just fine, I don't add any sodium to my food, etc. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Y'all and sweet tea fuked me up and couldn't read anymore because of the tears in my eyes AG lol, your a funny fuking cunt mate.
I kind of stay the same regarding sweating no matter the body part but legs does require extra fluid intake for me. Maybe you need to relax on your veranda on that old rocking chair sipping on that sweet tea while those tourist scream like fuk in your barrels

Yesterdays back workout:
Pulldowns (forward grip): 3 sets 10-12 reps quite strict. Meaning not leaning way the fvck back and changing the effect of the movement
Smith supported rows: 3 sets heavy again 8-10 reps. Ham was impeding these but did not this time. Getting better!
Regular rows: 3 sets moderate weight 8-10 reps. Did not do for the past 4 weeks due to ham but felt fine.
Dumbells over incline bench: 3 sets reps drop quick on these: 15, 12, maybe 10. Great finishing exercise imho.
Shrugs: 3 sets heavy again 10-15 reps.
Dumbell shrugs: High reps with pause, just wanted to hold the peak. About 20 reps or so 2 sets.
Back is feeling it today.
Still pisses me off walking by my new cybex single leg kneeling curl machine. Another week or so and I'll be able to use it, dammit. I hear it laughing at me.
