I'm getting there, buddy! Relaxing right now. Took vacation from work as I'm feeling a tad depleted. Should be back at it tonight!
Been looking around online for for Giants Live/ Europe's Strongest Man DVDs. Ridiculously difficult to find. Still waiting on the 2015-2017 WSM DVDs to be available. I keep getting the same answer from the guy...should be available this week.

Think I do as well, Cuz?/Woke up and my eyes looked like I had blown the vessels straining on a heavy lift, feel somewhat ragged, and had blood in both ears. It isn't unusual for the right one to bleed or drain, most of the eardrum is gone or scar tissue, but my left ear is basically G2G.
Hydrating like crazy, several glasses of grapefruit.juice, and unusually hungry. Feel a bit better after several hours sleep and started on azithromycin ( not the Z pack).

Morning all. Hoping to get back session in today. Really strange but I swear I can feel recovery by the day, increased energy, sleeping really well, eating good - just started keto to run out end of cycle. Anxious to get into gym for the last run of deload session. TBH, I was dreading workouts a couple of weeks ago because I was so friggin' wasted after them. I would even tell my gf - don't plan on doing anything tonight because I am working back or chest today...I can't imagine I won't see some results popping up at some point toward end of cycle.
On the same note, I am chomping on the bit to get back to "HIT". Think I will track it and do the deload at 6 wks this time, unless for some reason I feel exceptionally good. I ran past a couple of weeks and it kicked my arse. I think recovery not as good with age, too.

Hope everyone has a good day. Chest below from yesterday

    Hammer Strength ISO press
    2 w/u
2 w set - x 12, had to add drops because I overshot so second set was w/drops to hit 10

Seated cable press, upward palm rotation at end, s/s with low cable flies
    1 w/u
    3 w set - 12, 11, 8

    Standing upper pec cable flies
    1 w/u
    3 w set - 12, 10, 8

    Incline DB press
    3 w set - 12, 10, 5 w/drop to hit 8

Great pump and killer session. "Call 911 - I think I just killed my workout."

Legs today. All things considered it was a good day. First day back being allowed to do concentric ham work:

    Bike - 5 minutes
Extensions: 2-3 working sets 15 ish reps
Squats: 2 sets 12 reps. Made another jump up in weight and still felt ok. Will slowly push it back up.
Verticals: 2 sets 20 reps plate or two lighter than normal since I've not done them in a month. Felt great.
Seated curls: Slow warm up and two working sets keeping weight moderate. Zero pain. Felt good. Great pump. Stared at the new Cybex machine intently but figure I should wait a week or so.
Calf crap cause they can always be bigger.

Good day. Left knee a tad sore so may ice it.

Weird, my post didn't make it up. Hope it doesn't double post.
Back session, good session, deload so won't post it up. Felt strong and rested. Have a chest day and arm day, a few days of rest then HIT run again.
No legs yet, appt at Mayo on Nov 9 to see options. Might try to convince them of this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17721072 on trying some GH.

Diet dialed in with keto day 5. Feeling like you guys look.

I started storing extra in mason jars. never ate quinoa frequently. I use as an alternative to oatmeal with some almond milk, a little bit of maple syrup (or not) with bananas and pecans. Or with Greek yogurt spoonful and blueberries. Cinnamon. Hot or cold for breakfast. Nom nom.

Oh I'm sure you're right. But it's worth a try. And yeah, doctors...
Doubtful insurance would pay for it but again, could be worth a try. If they know it is to avoid a total knee they might give a shot. But again, doubtful.

It's a little bitter for me, but the macros and nutrients on it are awesome. I tend more toward brown rice to sub for oats, or wild rice even. Funny how easily some savory grains work with stevia and cream/almond/cashew milk for a sweeter breakfast or "cheat" dessert. I bought chia seeds and heat them in almond milk with stevia - almost pure fiber and delicious. They swell up and to me taste like cream of wheat without the carbs.

I am very concerned that my GH levels are low. I take Benadryl every night to fall asleep. Which there are reports that it lowers GH production. I try to offset that with vigorous exercise later in the evening but I’ve never checked my levels. Probably try to see what I can pull on my next panel.

I just started my Keto today, GGR publicly shaming me finally pushed me to start dropping the BF.

Are you using any ketosis products like BHB or MTC oils to kickstart it?
