Training is good. Listening to my body and training (style wise) how I feel on a day to day basis right now. Which means some days are full bore hit and the ones that aren't are no more than two working sets per exercise, but extremely intense and productive. I feel like I'm making some progress actually. Knees were sore for a bit, maybe due to some real heavy squats. I keep considering wrapping them lightly beyond a certain weight but the more logical side of me says to just not go that heavy anymore as I respond well to high reps on squats. Tough decision (as you know) as you get such a rush from a successful, heavy set of squats.

I'm training with the thought of doing a competition in late summer but I seriously don't know if I can pull that trigger or not. One side of me wants to do it, the other says "I don't give a fvck about it" anymore as I don't need a contest to validate what I do. I do it for me, self-actualization. Although I do get tired of seeing guys in my age group winning shows while they look like crap, imho. But anyway...

Life? It's busy. But working from home and training from home is advantageous, at least for saving time. Tired of this cold weather but at least the next few days are going to be in or around the 70's so I'll be breaking the Street Glide out of the garage and hitting the road hopefully. Other than all that, I'm the taxi for my 14 yr old. He's got more of a social life than I do........

    Ok fellas,

I'm feeling great body wise... I realized when I started my blast about 6+ wks ago... I wasn't in full bore HIT until about wk 3 - shoulders felt much better and started to really push myself past anything I've done prior(more weight etc and progressive overload)

I dropped my doses down and I'm still gaining and even starting to lean out w/out cardio etc... I'm thinking of extending this for 2-3wks and EOD lifting has been awesome! If I'm still gaining what's your guys' take on running with this a few more wks(if my weight stalls I'll go back to my TRT dose) re-prime as that can be better!

Any insight would be great! Thx guys!

Hope.it went.well. Just let.the latte do it's thing, go in with a pump from.the pushups, and scare them.into loving your presentation. Throw in a growl or two if appropriate.

I'm sure you'll nail it, Igi!

Arms stretching RC ex's(it was very tight and had to keep as much blood in those shoulders as possible, abs etc

    Oly bar curls
    3 warm ups 2 feelers
    1w 5+ drop 5+RP/2 + RP 1

    Oly bar - drag curls
    2 feelers
    1w 8 +RP+RP+RP till at 1 rep taking 10sec (maybe hit 14reps at most)

Preachers off back of incline**new weight**
    1w 6 2 forced 2negs drop 3+ 2forced 2negs drop 3+ 2forced 2negs -- whew these hurt and had the eye ball shakes & stars popping lol

Hammer curls strict - all brachialis(no swing) all partials into 1/4s into no movement
    1w(heavy) 4 DD+RP+RP -- fried my bis
    Tris

CG Bench Smiththis was torture on my shoulder so I stayed at 3plates aside for reps
1w 9 hurt so dropped and implemented TUT(4/2/4) for a TD great pump

    Skull crushers
    1w 8+RP+RP+RP -- slightly higher end reps(15ish total)
S/S'd into CG press w/EZ bar due to not getting up in weight on CG bench

    V grip push downs
    2warm ups stacked
    1w 8 +RP/2+RP/1.5+RP/1

Rev grip pushdowns standing back so cable & elbow are at 90* then stepping in 2x as a drop
2w with DD in both using same weight

    Burned out w/hammer grip pushdowns
1w(heavy) 5 then dropped 4 no break into burn out of 10+ to finish off tris

Weights done in roughly 44min - lots of stretching and rolling in order - getting some pulling in neck from the right side... Good session and weights are still ascending along with reps - very happy

Nice! Yes, finding that balance is a key! Its never too late to find that balance, as im also trying to have more of a life outside of the gym(both at work and living this lifestyle)... That quote you made regarding 'losing out on life's 'things'... Really resonated w/me! I feel im slowly making that transition into a much more balanced lifestyle!

Im really learning a lot from you Guys who've lived and breathed this lifestyle basicslly as long as I've been around(no pun intended ) But it just goes to show you all(you, Marcus, AG, BG, Haz, Clarky. Igi - & all senior staff/members/etc in here) are the best at what you guys do! Im happy to be learning under the tutiledge of you all in here... Whether it's lifting, life, or lifes curve balls, it's been great!

Yessir... eod lifting is going great lol

Same here, Clarky. Lots of nasty crud from my chest. The Dr. wants to listen to my chest and have a quick check on me while I am in for my shot tomorrow. She offered to write me out of work all week, but I declined. Got to work tonight and fever is back up and lots of nasty coughing, so I said fvck it and took the rest of the week off. Didn't want to burn the vacation time but if she had put me out of work it would have used my vacation time anyway (we don't get any sick days).
I have my 6 month visit around the first week of April, so I plan to jump in on a "wee" blast as well. Seems like.you talked me into extending my last blast a few weeks, didn't you?
Hope you get to feeling better ASAP!

For some reason, I see you tossing kegs overhead like they do at the strength events. Hope your gym has good kettle bells w/ strong handles, otherwise the UK will have another satellite in orbit and your gym will have a hole in the roof.

My body is beat to hell and I am struggling like mad all the time. Ive been so dedicated for just over 30 years and wouldn't let anything stop me in my life from training and living this lifestyle, this attitude cost me a lot and I still cant control the fore whats inside me but one things is for sure my body seems to want to stop.

I can not train like I use to, I cant do the lifts I was known for anymore. My bloods are telling me things and my body is also telling the same thing but my mind is telling me to fuk it and carry on but deep down I know I am going to hurt myself really bad soon.

Not sure what to do but I am working on some things to help my mind set cope with whats happening to this aging body. I know people will say age is just a number but those fuking idiots haven't trained like me for so many years, ive beat hell out of myself on a daily basis which hasn't done me any good in the long run, should of had many more pullbacks, should of had many more rest days but when you look and feel like a super hero nothing would stop me.

Not sure if the gimp mask is coming off for good or not but things are going to have to change and I am working on some things now to hell with my emotions regarding size and training.

Keep strong guys and train like a mad man but make sure you rest and recover properly don't let the gear mask the damage you may be doing staying on a heavy arse routine, train educated and train smart.
