You know I read all the time about the dangers of AAS and TRT, and it amazes me how if you ask a friend or a person on the street about either and the first thing comes out of their mouth is "don't do it" or " your dick will shrink". Then when I become devils advocate and ask them what are the dangers or have you ever been with a guy that juiced and saw their dick shrink, they can't give me an answer.
My point to this is its amazing how some people see propaganda or news reports and automatically assume the worst without educating themselves. I too was one of those people. But after reading you guys posts and picking the brain of people like Marcus, Kel, Igfuno I see the big time error of my ways. in the past few months i have learned so much about training and TRT. If used right AAS and TRT are very effective and TRT is needed for most because it is definitely hard bringing TEst levels back naturally as some reports would encourage. Sorry guys, I know this is a training thread created by Marcus but just wanted to rant for a bit, also the fact that I have a neck strain from shoulder workout Monday and can't lift right now, lol. One more day of rest though and back at it again.

Its a thread about every aspect of bodybuilding, it evolves all the time into different areas so anything you want to talk about get it out there. I did first start it because I thought a lot of people neglected training and how important it is and they just thought drugs was the answer but within this thread everything has been talked about

Got legs today..... Should be a good session - especially with my belt.
I talked to someone who used the same coach I'm using to do a show. He said his prices varried week to week and he constantly was trying to see him extra time for more money.
He also said that he did get him real lean (I saw the pics) and he did work with him on posing and got him to be where he needed to be.

You're far enough out now to just play with it. Hit some after each workout. Learn to control the muscle. All of them, quads, calves, etc. And as you do it will become more of a passion for you. You will be amazed at how simple twists and turns can take a shitty looking pose and turn it into a great one. Start youtubing video's on posing and start with learning the basics. Learn to hold them without looking like you're going to pass out.
One example is Arnolds famous front double bi pose where he has his hips slightly twisted. That simple twist gives the illusion his waist is multiple inches smaller therefore making his upper body look even bigger. Most don't realize that. Make sense? Little things count. I could not imagine spending all the time, money and effort and overall sacrifice to compete and not going in there and showing yourself impeccably. Do it right.

Legs today for me guys.
Vertical presses to start:
One working with a rest pause. Sometimes this exercise is actually harder just starting it than it is doing it. Un-racking and re-racking it sucks.
Squats. Wanted to stay a bit lighter for my knee which is why they were second today. One relatively heavy. Cranked out a pretty easy 16 reps and racked it due to my knee. Didn't want to push it more as I was feeling it a bit.
Extensions: two sets straight
Curls: two sets straight
Calves: Standing and seated.
Good day despite a bit of knee irritation. I'll be sore tomorrow.

Thanks Rip, I changed it again I can never be satisfied. If I had someone experienced telling me how to pose and d each pose I think I could do better. The wife just says "omg hurry the hell up I swear you put this above everything else..." and then precedes to snap the pic. lol. really bugs me....cant seem to flex the lats in the posing .having.a hard time.
Btw, back from "back" day lol, good workout. Not overly crazy in the gym but I still held it fairly intensily. Didn't pull my PR tonight I tried and came up short oh well. Cant be your best every single day I don't guess. Still fairly strong I guess with nothing helping me outLast edited by Cuz; 12-18-2013 at 08:31 PM.

Most people are completely ignorant about hormones. Women have been taking birth control pills for 70 years, but ask one how they work. They'll give you a blank stare. Its even worse with male hormones I think due to all the negative propaganda that you mentioned. Most guys at the gym are even clueless on.the.subject. I stopped being surprised by it a decade ago. I don't talk about it with anyone outside this forum. This thread in fact, lately.

Eating more than ever for the past few months. Finally got over 180#(I know. Big deal). I was afraid I'd get fat if I ate more. 30% more cals and everything's getting bigger except my stomach. Go figure...

Yep. I'm going back on jan or feb. It depends on how my lipids look. Tren ruined me in that regard. No more tren for java. I went off early october. I know there was a post I made a while back saying I was clean 3 mos. As of Dec. 8th but that was off by a month. I went off october 8th. It just FEELS like 3 1/2 months but it has only been 2 1/2. I got a liver scan a few weeks ago and had to pay for half of it out of pocket. I just found that out today when I got the bill so I will be having to curtail my doctor visits and read my new policy details. F!%k. My insurance used to cover 80% of such things until we got this awesome leadership we now have. I'm not bringing politics in here, just.saying my insurance is getting to be useless so I have to do more guesswork and won't be able to get all the testing as frequently as I have in the past. Sucks.
Edit: yeah I am afraid of losing mass too and I'm gaining some fat back but its a lot easier to lose fat than to gain lbm so its fine with me.Last edited by Java Man; 12-18-2013 at 08:57 PM.

when people make the move from light heavyweight to heavyweight before they added the in between 212lbs HW division what can you do to deal with the stress of the added mass your body is not use to carrying. tying my shoes makes me sweat and winds me. Does it get better?

A few months ago, you talked about incline tri ext. I had always done them flat and my freaking elbow would crack and crumble. Afraid I was gonna really screw em up, so I didn't go as heavy as I wanted. No progress. Once I tried incline, no cracking and have increased weight 50#. Thanks. I read and implement so many things that are posted here. I should give kudos more often.
Thanks Java
