LOL. Remember the Seinfeld episode? George told the girl he had hand. She told him he was going to need it. Around the 19 second mark or so.

So she got mad that I left a can for recycling near the babies formula haha. That made her yell and get pissed again.... Idunno. Now she's being nice again..... Even cracked a smile. I'm in my recliner with a fleece blanket over me, either I'm too big or the blanket is too small, because I'm not adequately covered.

Man what a sh*tty day. One of my managers gave notice, one of my engineers tore his knee, budgets are painful, just left the office at almost 1am, ate like crap today, and have early morning meetings. Needless to say, no gym.

Tomorrow is a new day, but there may be a few of these over the next couple weeks.

    Chest this morning.

Felt a little rushed had a hair cut apt...so figured perfect time for pre exhaust.

    Pec dec to warm up

Incline db fly straight into presses. Got to 65s and still getting decent reps.

Flat DB Fly Into presses. Tried 65 chest was little fried by then. First set went ok...had to drop weight to 55s to get the reps up.

Wide/decline hammer strength straight into incline hammer strength.

Free motion cables high into evens

    Chest is done!.

Having very odd pains in arms and shoulders. Def not a sore pain either. Have this on going annoyeness/throbbing pain in left forearm since yesterday. Thought it would go away after last night. :/.

I've heard different things regarding this - but it's almost as if the fascia is tearing from the bone(whether it's the tendon to ligament or ligament to bone... It's very annoying) - or I know I have carpal tunnel in that forearm, too?!... Maybe Kel can chime in(there was a thread about tennis elbow that had a diagram that painted a good pic of that area) I'll try and find it today... I'm glad my anterior's are gtg ATM - but my posterior delts is where all my pain is... Both are a PITA!

I know tho it hurts like a MFer sometimes...

Nice session guys!!! Been super busy today and going to be the rest of the night. I had a really good back workout today lats still feel nice and full. Those weighted hypers are freaking painful. Go to failure then have someone push your ass up for a couple. I though I might cry at the end. My sorry ass could hardly walk afterwards. The lower back pump was real.

Anyways will be back on tomorrow. Work has me busy for the rest of the night.

Interesting day today. Had a couple odd back spasms within the past week so I made a chiropractor appt today. The spasm's were muscular in nature, not spinal. Chiro's a long time friend of mine and simply amazing at what he can do. I'll preface the story a bit more by adding that my back work prior to this two week break has been brutal and I feel as if I'm making progress in that area. That said, it also felt constantly fatigued or stressed, like it would not relax. I tried a deep tissue massage a couple weeks ago and it seemed to help a little, as did the two week break until the spasm's bit me.

So, chiro listened, evaluated and located the issue as the Quadratus Lumborum via his physical testing. The QL is apparently the deepest abdominal muscle we have but actually located along the spine. Here's where it is:

So, it can apparently build up over time via repetitive motion, stress to the muscle, imbalances, etc. He adjusted me which made it instantly feel better as after a spasm that areas musculature remains sore for a period of time. He said it was fine to do legs later that day and gave me a couple simple stretches to help.

Anyway, interesting stuff so I thought I'd share it in case someone else experiences something similar!

ps: first leg day back went well. Couple sets of moderate weight for each exercise, nothing to failure, just to re-acclimate. Squats actually felt really light even for a moderate weight.

Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing Kel. I walk around with some strange pain pretty often so I may want to look into a chiro as well. Never been.

Just leaving work again and been there since this morning. Got about 1/2 my budgets done so down the stretch.

The apt where I stay during the week has a pretty good gym so I'm going to go hit some shoulders then hit the sack

Atleast it's clean and the dumbells don't chip and cut you when you pick them up lol.

Get to work..... Sometimes I end up having a great workout when I don't have access to all the machines and stuff. It forces you to be creative and you hit he muscle a new way
