Respectfully disagree. In my case my forearms would explode. They get big easily, and create an imbalanced look. Also the lat pull bar is not made for my small lady hands- too girthy (never thought I'd have that complaint!)
For me to get a good lat wo, it makes sense to use something to assist with my grip

Yea, definitely don't want to neglect your larger muscle groups because your forearms are fatigued. I'd say go as long as you can without wraps, then use when needed

Had the whole weight room to myself! Taking Sunday off to spend the day with my 3 grandsons and smoke two 13 pound turkeys.
PBDC: I take NAC, red yeast rice, Krill oil, Vit C, D, B12, potassium and 5mg cialis twice a day. I have also been doing HGH frag for awhile and just started T3.
My pics suck because the camera in the S5 sucks, also I am not photogenic!
I know I am not very focused, HIIT almost every morning at 5AM, lift after work everyday, and tracking every macro, but feel I am doing ok. I think I should get extra points for age. How many time have I heard "It gets hard with age" OBS just said it a few posts ago. Still struggling to eat enough food daily. As you can see last night I had to eat an apple and some cottage cheese just to come close.
Not very focused? You gotta be kidding! Serious commitment. Respect!

I did meal prep and cardio in the morning. Spent mid day with my son. He likes to drive around and check out all the local construction sites- pretty cute!
I have chest, glutes, and calves tonight. I need a training partner! Chest is so much better with a spotter

Yeah, thats what happens at the end of good back workout. The trick is to manage volume, intensity and proper lat activation. Not saying there is not a place for straps, but IMO it is important that your forearms are able to withstand some weight, otherwise unbalances and injuries can halt your progress.

Agree on bar girth, dont know why they use this diameters on hammer strength machines, but for the straps to actually work you need to have proper sized grip.
Disagree on unbalanced look. Dont know how you train, most ppl I see have too much volume and not enough intensity, and the forearms go out first.

I do things a little different from most but honestly, my grip isn't fried after deads! And I haven't done shit for grip strength it just comes along on it's own. After deads or variations I do another pull usually and then hamstrings and abs. Lately, sometimes barbell rows where I let the bar go down below knees before pulling up again. Without straps I am notorious for not doing it right and frying my forearms. Pullups et.c. are on another day.

Alright, gotta a new plan. My biggest weakness is legs and fat, so I'm gonna spend the rest of the comp concentrating on them two, Monday's and Thursday's I'm gonna work legs heavily, and the others days will be mostly hiit cardio with a little weight training to maintain muscle on my upper body. I always workout in the morning, and going to add swimming in the afternoons at home. I'm also gonna to tighten up my diet. What you guys think?

Sounds like a good plan. You can still add muscle on your upper body though just keep training. What's diet and training like?

    Sup guys.

Sitting at 88.6kg (195lbs) this morning. Started at 87kg (191lbs). Training has been ok, a bit off last week as my left shoulder was playing up but after a restful week last week I was able to smash out a big chest/shoulder session today, not a heavy session but lots of volume with a bunch of drop sets/super sets.

Will be back to normal next week for sure training wise, food is good. Over ate the last couple of days. So will clean up over the next day or two, am in a surplus but don’t want to get sloppy so not over eating just eating what I need at around a 300-400 surplus. All whole food based, no junk.

Gear is kicking in, pumps are unreal, feeling fuller and harder. Haven’t been able to test strength yet, I recon another 8-10 days I’ll be close enough in full swing.

    Let the gains commence!

Oh, I started tanning today as well

You are going to have to work twice as hard as everyone else. You are starting with an excellent base. Just remember it is most improved. Good luck!

Heck pumps have gotten so mediocre they don't last one minute, nowhere as they were last month, not even the time to take a pic.

Sorry guise but this is what living with thyroiditis is like, functioning keeps alternating at periods, but in the regards of training I keep doing better and I believe that's what important, visual effects just require a bit of fine tuning with my hormones.

Don’t worry, there is plenty of time. There is a good possibility this is water retention. If so, you are going to have to get rid of the water at the end.

I wonder what your home would look like if you two had no wife and were to live alone....

When I live alone my house is spotless 24/7 because no one ever makes a mess.

When I live alone no one is there to make a mesz except me to "sleep".... With a chick I brought home. She is not gonna be making a mess on anything but the sheets and a load of laundry doesnt take long. Matter of fact you can pick up another at the laundromat while you are there, cleaning your sheets.

Then... You find one that has her shit together and loves you for who you are.

    Its time biz.

Ask my wife what my apartment looked like before she moved in! Needless to say I didn't get my deposit back
