I go back to PT this coming Wednesday, so I should know more then. So far, it's the radiology clinic that's holding me up.

Don't bullshit us. Tell us more and post pics, brands, whatever else you got! Pic of label?

Edit to say: Ok, I waited about two minutes and you refused to respond. Is this what you're talking about?

Neck MRI done today. Supposedly they are going to expedite the report, so I may have it tomorrow? We'll see, I go back to physical therapy tomorrow.

Hate those f-in closed in tubes, they're never, ever big enough. Shoulders are killing me now from having them pinched in tight against my body. Mrs. AG just finished working them over with a car polisher/ buffer which gave some much welcomed relief.

Evening fellas/Girly, hope yous are all well. I have Sever lower back pain, it has been going on for months. Its a constant dull ache at each side of my spine.
Worse when standing straight or trying to lean back to stretch it. Shit like going to have to go to the doc and see whats up.

REASON FOR EXAM: M54.2 - Cervicalgia; Polyradiculopathy

CLINICAL HISTORY Neck pain shoulder/arm weakness for several months COMPARISON None

    2150 h MA 22 M MA 3-47M

TECHNIQUE: Multisequence multiplanar MR imaging of the cervical spine was obtained without intravenous contrast

FINDING: There is preservation of vertebral body height Anterior osteophytes are seen at multiple levels The signal intensity and appearance of the cervical spinal cord is within normal limits.

C2-C3: There is a posterior disc protrusion. The spinal canal measures 71 mm. There is narrowing of the neural foramen, left greater than right. There is no direct nerve root impingement

C3-C4: There is a circumferential broad-based disc bulge with a left paracentral protrusion This effaces the cervical spinal cord. The thecal sac measures 6.3 mm There is narrowing of the inferior aspect of the neural foramen bilaterally. No definite direct nerve root impingement is seen

C4-C5: There is a circumferential broad-based disc bulge and uncovertebral joint hypertrophy. This causes narrowing of the neural foramen bilaterally, right greater than left Impingement on the exiting nerve roots cannot be excluded.

C5-C6: There is a circumferential broad-based disc bulge. The spinal canal measures 6.2 mm. There is narrowing of the inferior aspect of the neural foramen, right greater than left Impingement on the exiting nerve roots cannot be excluded.

C6-C7. There is a minimal disc bulge. There is mild narrowing of the neural foramen. No direct nerve root impingement is seen.

    Radiology

C7-T1: There is a minimal broad-based disc bulge. No neural foraminal impingement is seen.

IMPRESSION: Degenerative spondylosis of the cervical spine

At C2-C3 there is a posterior disc protrusion narrowing the spinal canal to 7.1 mm

At C3-C4, there is a broad-based disc bulge with a left paracentral protrusion narrowing the spinal canal 63 mm. This does efface the cervical spinal cord. No abnormal signal is seen within the cord at this time There is narrowing of the neural foramen although no direct nerve root impingement is identified

At C4-C5 and at C5-C6 there is a circumferential broad-based disc bulge and uncovertebral joint hypertrophy causing narrowing of the spinal canal There is narrowing of the neural foramen at these levels. Impingement on the exiting nerve roots cannot be excluded.

*** THIS IS AN ELECTRONICALLY VERIFIED REPORT **

Basically, it's still inconclusive. I may opt to go over to see a neurosurgeon that has a really good reputation for doing surgery when needed, not just go in there and start blasting around. They should be contacting me soon. Still continuing with my rehab as a form of prehab if I go the surgical route.

    Past couple workouts:

    Monday - Chest and bi's

Incline smith: 2-3 working between 6-10 reps
Flat flyes: 3 working hard squeeze at top (little trick is when you get near the top try and push your elbows together. You can't but it gives the contraction you're looking for)
Flat dumbell press: 3 sets 10-15 reps

Preacher curls: 3 working 8-12 ish reps
Standing BB curls: Moderate weight really controlled 3 sets 10-12
Dumbell preachers over bench (standing with adjustable bench at a high angle) 2-3 sets 10 ish reps

    Tuesday - Legs

    Bike for 5 minutes
Seated ham's: 3 working 10-12 reps with pause
Vertical Press: 3 working 15 reps or so decent weight
Squats: 3 working 12 ish reps. One heavier set but back felt odd so dropped back.
    Calf crap

    Good couple days.

    How you guys doing?

Adjusting to life in Sweden has been quite easy. Like Kelkel pointed out, the upgrade from India is, well, not possible to describe in words. Beyond picking up our stuff from there when this pandemic settles down I doubt I'll ever head back to that hell hole ever again. 6-years there was way too long and not what we had planned anyways.

The training here is better than I could ever have expected. The national weightlifting team trains here so it's easy to get great feedback and the same coach who trains them, volunteers, his time with us normal people because he is passionate. Of course, having a 140lb woman next to me snatch weights I have only seen in my sleep creates a huge amount of respect for these people. Got 3 CrossFit Games athletes here also so there really is not a better place if one wants to succeed. I do not think I could come up with an excuse for not making it even if I wanted to. All in all, super happy where we are at this time but we still miss our real home.

Hope you all are healthy and safe. Always a pleasure to read the updates in this thread!

Settling into new digs for 2 months. Gym isn’t open, no complimentary breakfast other than bag of stuff can’t eat except for fruit. Even the water has flavoring added.

gonna ask if I can borrow free weights 3x weekly and sanitize when return. Walking is an option too. I’ll make it work.

Focus is on super clean eating and proper hydration. Let’s see what happens!! The last bit of fat is in tummy and little bit in inner thighs. Most in the tummy...doctor says it’s visceral so stubborn.

Side note - only had to buy a small selection smaller clothes for this assignment. Smaller - yayyy! Slipping into tiniest of jeans was peaceful. My smallest work slacks are tad looser so I know what need to do.

Not sure anyone in this thread anymore.

Dropped 4 pounds in 4 weeks and officially lowest weight ever at 132.

Thinking ideal weight is 125 - 130 and will re-evaluate at 125. Based on height, 120 may be the number.

I know it will get harder to push off last 7. Interesting where body took the last 4 cus not where I was hoping. lol

Thinking ideal weight is 125 - 130 and will re-evaluate at 125. Based on height, 120 may be the number.

I know it will get harder to push off last 7. Interesting where body took the last 4 cus not where I was hoping. lol
I'm still here, but the vast majority of my time is spent @ physical therapy or doing physical therapy @ home. It's the slowest process I've ever dealt with.

    Congrats to you, GGR!

I am still here to but like AG got a very busy life at the moment. I mostly stick my head in some political hornet's nest these days. Not sure why to be honest. Training is going really well though. In a diet at the moment to make me faster at running. Yes, I wrote running. I do hate it with a passion but got to do what I go to do.
