Stepped on the scales this morning just to have a look see, and I'm hovering just a couple pounds shy of 190. Granted I'm probably pushing close to 20% bf at the moment it's a lot better than the 165 @ 20% that I joined the site with. Time to shed some fat and maintain this hard earned mass.

Back is nicely sore today but in a good way. I believe the reason I crapped out and didn't hit deads Wednesday was my own fault. I ate earlier and a lesser amount than usual before lifting. Got in some cardio via burpees/squat thrusts yesterday morning...feeling good.

So true. I was away on a tropical vacation last month and just walking around the many pools was entertaining. You'd see people elbowing their friends and pointing toward me. Sometimes you can't tell if it's admiration or disgust but I'll take either, knowing full well if it's the latter they are just weak minded cvnts. A few were nice enough to approach and ask questions and give some compliments, which is always nice to hear and motivates you even more.

Back session yesterday was great, and I got to watch a guy laying on the seated cable row bench doing straight bar curls. All in all it was a good day.

LOL - I can picture that.

Finally got to do a little bit of light chest, tricep and delt work in today. Tentonitis / Bursitis in my shoulders had been killing me to the point I basically had to drop upper body stuff for a couple of weeks. I could certainly use the focus on my skinny legs, but not being able to do upper body was getting depressing. I warmed up extra and then kept it light and in the 12 rep range for 3 working sets. Even through in some abs for good measure.

Thanks, I will have to try it.

My muscles have knots all over the place, seems it is hereditary, as my dad gets these knots. I have been thinking maybe magnesium deficiency.

It is the main reason I cannot train like this thread trains, my body won't let me. I have been like this for a long time. My mind wants to train like an animal everyday, but my body will not let me!

Did Chest and Tri's yesterday, on cable push downs my neck started to tighten up - but still finished up strong.

Today my neck is no good, painful to turn.

All knotted up, feel like I might as well be wearing a neck brace with my range of movement.

Today is shoulders, not sure that I should do them in my condition. Maybe I'll see if my chiropractor can do some pressure points and get me some relief.

    Any suggestions?

Couple shots from today @ 5'5 188. Pretty much a fatbody right now but I've gained some quality mass in the process that wouldn't have come as easy without the motivation in this thread. Training alone and having no friends or family into this lifestyle makes it a grind to stay motivated some times. So I say thank you to all of the guys here.

Thanks man. They've always been a strong point for me. Spent a long time never having a leg day or only working them every couple weeks. Then started training them every week but never beyond positive failure until the last six months or so. Since then I've had to go up a waist size in my jeans to accommodate my quads. Last weekend I put on some shorts from last summer and the waist was fine but my legs looked like I may as well have put on bike shorts. I was feeling pretty good that day.

And looking back at the photos I may not be quite 20% but I felt that was probably a pretty close guess.

    Yesterday was shoulders

    RC warm up

Seated single side lateral done on the side lateral machine
3 warm up sets - higher end rep range. Really isolated the side cap with this machine, felt really good an a lovely burning sensation. Will do doing this more often.
2 working sets - done to failure hit 8-10 reps

    smith machine press
    2 feel sets
    2 working sets - hit 10 and 8 reps

    rear delts
    2 feel sets
2 working sets - hit the higher end of my rep range

    BB shrugs
3 working sets - to failure hit 8-10 rep range

Chest day for me. Got called in to work around midnight so I plan to hit it this morning when I get home vs my original plan of lifting around 3:30 a.m.. Pre exhausting the chest worked great last time; really got a great burn....looking forward to it already. It feels good/rewarding to get into low gear and force/grind out the last few reps/partial reps.

I've adopted kels 3 day split. But I couldn't lift last night, so back and shoulders were today. I threw abs in at the end so I was close to 1 1/2 hrs.

Nearly puked numerous times. Ate an hour before lifting maybe I need to push that back a little.

Best back and shoulder session of my life. I can't shake my blender bottle, going to have to get the blender out.

I'm going on 6 months on trt. haven't gained any weight but I'm certain I've lost 3 or 4% body fat. I was easily over 20% but im sure I'm at least 18 maybe as low as 16. I can see muscle cuts, but no abs. However, considering I rarely ever train abs and never do cardio I think I'm doing great. It's hard to pinch enough fast around my navel to do my hcg injections. It's great!

On another note, just took my gloves off and realized I ripped a callous open probably during dead lifts. I didn't think it would happen with gloves on. . Oh well part of the game I guess

It's great!
Get that time down. Outstanding on how the work out felt! One of the many reasons I switched to back and shoulders together is that I was always irritating my shoulders when I trained them first. Doing back first has reduced those occurrences greatly for me.

Use an old razor on them. When your in the shower or just out stretch your fingers out and simply shave them down. Easy, fast and effective.

Kel, I was done with the lifting about 1:10. The rest was abs. Thanks for the advice on the calluses

No worries. The callous shaving trick is great. Especially when I used to dead heavy. Tearing one can suck big time.
