I have a home gym lol.... I started going to a gym because I had more variety and more space. The basement is small and the amount of equipment I have makes it smaller. I've "out grown" it honestly.

Since I Wasnt using it - it became a space to store some stuff. It may be time to bring it back to life again

Been away for a few days.
    Hows everyone been?

Had a killer chest session today.
Had a great pump and felt HUGE!
Did 10 minutes of stairs to finish up, I'm now home and fed.

    I feel small again.
    The struggle is real...

Headed home today to load some new music on my MP3 player and then I'll be hitting my chest. Don't know if it's the weather or what, but for some reason I've had the urge to listen to music while I'm lifting. We don't have a huge amount of land, but it's enough so that I can generally turn the music up to suit my needs.
Still in the pull back mode, but really looking forward to that deep burning stretch during flyes.

Had a great back session this morning with great contraction and muscle connection on all exercises, ive been concentrating on thickness which is crazy because my back is very thick but in all honesty my back seems to grow when I really force growth on the thickness side what seems to happen is the width just follows so that's how I train. I don't always do thickness I do mix it up all the time but I tend to do a lot of pure heavy compound movements to thicken my back up.

Due to commitments and work schedule my carb cycling had to stop, so I am still a bit to heavy at 253-257lbs and carrying alittle to much bf. I am still working the whole body once every 7-10 days which works for me and for the guys who don't know how I train, when I train its to failure and beyond for very short periods of time, in and out within 40-50mins usually.

I'm not looking the best ive looked, I do look a lot better lighter imho but as you all know I am a big believer in eating a lot of food and attacking bf levels via cardio first the slowly playing around with your food intake, when you have to maintain a few lbs there is only one way you can do it and that's with a lot of food whether dieting or bulking.

And to the cvnts who complain about my spelling and grammar its never stopped me making a big success with my life and its strange they never call me out about my back, delts or arms usually just my spelling. Fuking internet gangsters lol lol..

Anyway I have Austin who is going to start prove reading all my posts but to my 2 haters/trolls who look like shit and to the trolls I am one big mother fuking bastard and that's something you will never achieve no mater what you take or do because ....oh fuk it I'm not going to tell you.

You know, it's kind of ironic that people b!tch and moan about spelling and grammar yet they understand the message.

    Quick intro...

I'm 38, started TRT 10 months ago & have been training consistently with good Nutrition for a couple years now. Comming from running rest/pause style training for the past year or so, but I miss failure. My gym is at home in my garage with pretty decent equipment I've got over time.

I miss going to failure though & Kel has suggested to to some reading over here...so I read a few pages here & there, but only 1/4 way through as it's a huge thread, but great!

I started last week, trying it as a 4 day split for now & have been using drop sets as I train alone. I wanted to try forced/negs so I had my wife spot me this morning...she actually told me my eyes we're were twitching & asked why I was crying after the set, lol! I told her it was normal for this type of training...she said I'm crazy .

My BF is high right now at 18% as I'm about done with my first blast (500mg test only 12 weeks), which IMO I got poor results from. Gear tested legit at 2800 total & I was consistently at a 500 cal surplus, but I have a problem with putting fat on very fast as I was legitimately at 13% when I started. I came to the conclusion I need to train better/harder so here I am & so far I'm into it!

I'll pop up here & there but my son keeps me pretty busy, but just wanted to say what's up & I'm enjoying all the great info from this thread...props to Marcus & Kel!

Glad you joined the thread, chvl! There are several of us in this thread that lift @ home and/ or alone. This entire thread really is a gem. There's no telling how many cumulative hours of lifting experience this thread contains....and honestly, it's one of the most motivational and fun threads I've encountered.

Push/Pull. At least you wont be walking with your arms at a 90 deg due to bicep pump. You know you did good on arms day when you cant wash your own hair in the shower after training.

Yeah the forced/negs to failure & beyond are for the wicked no doubt. Yesterday when I did chest & bi's I def hit failure but I'm not sure how far beyond I actually got with my wife spotting, lol! Just seemed weird but it worked. After doing double drops last week for chest & going to forced/negs...I feel way more worked today, sore as phuk like I haven't trained chest in a couple weeks.

    I did flat BB press...forced/negs
    Flat flys...forced/negs
    DB incline...forced/negs
    DB incline flys...forced/negs

    BB curls...double drops/negs
    DB conc. curls...double drops/negs

Took me about 45 min & whooped my ass!

Sessions have been brutal this week even though strength has been down, but I'm gonna attribute that to the fact that I've dropped about 100g of carbs from my day to start getting this bf down a bit. Gotta start squeezing some cardio in as well. It's hard right now with my work and gym schedule already taking up about 16hrs of my day, and time with family and sleep taking up the rest.

Contemplating a move to a 9 day split to see how it works for me with training sessions eod, and cardio in between to look like this.

Chest, cardio, back, cardio, delts and arms, cardio, legs, off, off.

Yeah iv been away for a while so iv been catching up, particularly on this thread, this thread is a major motivator for me, sorry to hear Marcus has haters and trolls, not arse licking here but this guy is my inspiration to bodybuilding, he's basically giving well proven advice out for free when he could be running a business out if it, listen to what he says and be humble. Thread tone has changed, let's get back on track.

Welcome back to the party man. You're looking good in your avi.

Speaking of on track. I'm gonna need a damn scooter to get around the next couple days after the leg session I just put down. Before I hit hamstrings I went for a body weight squat to stretch my quads a bit and had to pull myself back up with my arms.

Probably my best shoulder day in quite some time. Felt great. Everything had 2 working and with each working 2 drops each. With some half reps also. Hitting about 12 total reps.

    Smith press
Bent over db (don't know exact name but same movement as dec machine)
    Seated lateral raise
    Front raise
    Seated db shrugs

Dropped some weight not much from cycle. Down to about 188-190

Two thumbs up for whoever began the discussion of knee sleeves a few pages back. I bought a pair (probably a cheap pair @ $45) and love them. My 52 yr old knees thank you

I haven't ordered my NeoG's yet, BG. I'm currently using Rehband sleeves for warmth, but am plannimg to order a pr. of Neo G Stabilised Open Knee Support. I'm pretty sure they are the intermediate protection. (My knees feel.like they're about to explode during hacks).
I believe that's the same model you're using???

Edit: BG, I think Marcus posted the type he uses in post#10561.

You guys are confusing me. I have both the Neo-G's that Marcus turned me on to and Neoprene pull on's. They have three velcro straps and an open knee. I use them for support. They will never equal wraps if that is what anyone is trying to equate it to but they do give a level of support if applied tightly. Most of the time I still use simple Neoprene for warmth on leg day as that seems to be what I particularly need most of the time.
