When the personal trainers that work there take my plates that I have next to my squat rack, happened twice in the last week with different female trainers, mid set, without asking.

Some ****er before was grabbing weight off the rack attached to the cage while I was doing squats. Normally, I don't care if people do that, but this f[u]cker literally took plates off the bar while I was between sets throwing the bar off balance and I didn't see the dude grab it. I nearly had an accident in there all because of that ****er. So I confront him and he was like "ohh sorry"

I hate when people bench anything under 100lb dumbbells and then drop them on the ground and get up all flexed, like seriously? They aren't heavy quit being a bitch.

Fuarkkkk I just hate small c*nts that think they are massive!!! I do high volume on all my workouts and this little ****er walks up to me just as I finished doing my last set at 30kg dumbbells on shoulder press! and he comes up and says is that all u can lift???? And laughs to himself and goes onto to tell me he does the 35s!

So next set I say oh mate, can u spot me? He goes yeah bro! So I grab the 40's threw Em up my self, did 9, he didn't even get a chance to help me, I put Em on the rack and walked off!

    Little bitch

went to a la fitness a few times when i was prepping last summer (i will never go to a gym like that again because they suck).. im doing stiff leg deads right by the rack where i got my dumbbells.. this skinny little retard goes and squeezes between me and the rack right in the middle of my set.. i throw my dumbbells and tell him politely as i can (which was not that polite) to start practicing good gym etiquette.. he proceeds to snap back at me then realizing that hes about to get a quick beating shuffles off.. at the same gym i was 1 week out and guy comes over to a bench i was using asks me to work in and i tell him no he stand there for a few seconds like waiting for an explanation so i have to tell him to be on his way.. crowded gyms suck.. "corporate" type gyms suck.. if your worried more about your clothes matching your shoes than getting results you need to get a new hobby .. end rant

Dude, my older sister spends a lot of money on her gym workout attire. She goes to that Equinox gym in L.A. though where it's really more of a fashion show than a gym. I personally can't stand those places. All I need is my shorts and a T-shirt and I'm good to go. It doesn't matter what you wear, you're not going to be very stylish when you're covered in sweat.

I was off last Fri, so I go to the gym around 7am.....there is only about 6-7 ppl there nice and quiet, obviously a differant crowd than going at my normal time after work. These ppl are not physical speceimens to say the least. One fine ass chick I check her out she rushes out of the gym, all prissy and shit...fu c off, k so there is this guy, skinny, real skinny, wearing all matching clothes long sleeve armour shirt and long pants (all tight, shirt and shorts and matching gloves, and sparkling new 100$ tennis shoes, k I get my routine on, and usually stretch after warm up and inbetween two warm up sets( doing bench(135)....this guy is like watching intently that I invaded his gym at that time in the morning lol, I stretch and turn back around and he on my bench and can't even push the 135. I'm thinking gym equipment no probvlem but there is no one else in the weight area? he like I must be burnt out I just did it 35x on the smith machine. I'm like yea probably...I'm sure with a puzzled look on my face. I figure the guy wants to talk since I'm literally twice his size, but he blows me off like some stuck up bitch...lmao wtf? like he was pissed he didn't get a rise out of me or something? weird

I had this happen two days ago, I'm over with my head phones in minding my business when I hear a loud bang. Instantly thinking someone had to much weight and lost it. Nope! I turn around and it's this kid doing bent over dumbbell pulls with 60 pound dumb bells. He would do his six reps then from the highest point in his row just throw the weight down. So after two sets of this I walk up and ask why he keeps slamming the weights down after each set, he replies "I'd like to see you do this with out slamming them" that gets me to chuckle pretty good, my response was no problem. Instead I reach over and grab the 100 pound dumbbells and do six reps with out slamming. I hate the small kids thinking there huge and slamming weights picks up chicks.

Just came back from the gym. . . This is a new one: Female groaner - This chick was probably about 5'3" and the same around. She was lifting half decent weights, I guess - curling 40 pounds on a easy curl bar. She is just groaning loudly as her dude watches and doesn't say a word - this went on my whole 40 minute workout.

    Oh people. . . . . . .

I went to the gym today already pissed off, but this pushed things over the edge. I'm not racist, but there was this group of 5 or so elderly asian people(idk specifically what country they were from) but they were speaking in their native language and I swear they were half yelling. This was in the pool while I was getting some cardio done. They were just sitting on the side, not getting jack done, and talking as though they wanted everyone in the entire gym to hear them, even though NO ONE HAS ANY IDEA WHAT THEY ARE SAYING!!! gahh.. . the pool has 3 lanes and I was in the middle lane while this elderly asian lady is one of the outside ones and her husband is in the other. as soon as I get to the other wall she is literally yelling in my face trying to talk to her husband who is across from me. C'mon man!

this seems to be becoming common that people have no respect..this happens EVERYWHERE....loud talking, walk right in front of you while your walking straight and theyve had to see you a 100 yards away...its as if they are alien to the planet...i dont know how they've managed to live as long as they have

This is the main thing that pisses me off. At a regular gym I go to, I've never been told to re-rack the weights, but two of the same guys who work there always hover around me playing around with the weights after a couple of sets of whatever I'm doing to I guess "intimate" me to re-rack the weights. The other day I actually even told a guy something. I was having problems with my shoulders, so in between sets of squats I would do ROM snatch grip shoulder stretches with a wooden pole they have there to teach people barbell form, and they same came up played with the weights for a second and I told him not to worry I always clean up behind myself, and he heard the nerve to say he was actually coming over to ask if I was done with the stick so he could practice his gold swing since he was bored.

Right now the thing that pisses me off at the gym is I have to lift PATHETIC light weights.
I'm doing fly's with 5lbs, I can do 10lbs but cant do the range of motion yet.
I'm benching with only 30lb dumbbells max or 60lbs straight bar incline or decline. I have to use almost my entire body weight equivalent on the dip machine when before I way using a 45 strapped to me.

This shoulder surgery recovery is going a LOT slower than I had planned. I have good range of motion according to the doctor but I still have a long ways to go.

No I'm not rushing it and I will continue to take me time to work though it so I dont re injure it but DAMN.

Only good thing is the gym I am using at work I get to go in the middle of the night so I'm alone and there is no one to look at my like I'm a freak.

Even though it's been over a year since I could lift properly at least I have not lost all my size. I'm not down to 12" biceps yet. lol Its going to take a while to get back to where I was 1 1/2 years ago though.

OK enough of my pity party for now.

The silly whore in there yesterday! She looked great but that was ruined the first time she walked by me. Everytime she walked by I had to stop my set because I was gagging on her perfume trail and couldn't breathe.

Seriously do you mean while you are actually benching or in between sets? I would go off if someone tried to talk to me while I was doing reps. When I was going to a normal gym I try not to talk to anyone.

In the middle of my set. Admittedly I was doing dumbbell curls but I'm still in the middle of a set. After my response they didn't even glance in my direction again!

I work out with my girl, sometimes together , but usually she does her thing and I do mine(don't have to change weight so often)...k so when chicks know your with someone, and go out of there way to flirt with you in your girls line of sight. especially when they know I want to drop to my knees and suck them dry.

OK enough of my pity party for now.
i feel your pain .. i had my shoulder done a few years ago.. was about a 8-9 month injury.. but when i was finally able to kill it .. i gained about 40 lbs in a few months and it felt so great..

Same exact way here, I try my best not to talk to chicks at the gym most of the time since me and my GF go together more than half of the time. We already had a few of the "WTF do you have to talk to her about?" conversations. . . . Can't get enough of those.

Thanks, I needed to hear something like that. Yeah I'm keeping slow and easy, no choice.

I had a rotator cup surgery 1 1/2 yrs ago the tendon in the back and the rest was a mess, I worked with amazing pain for about ten yrs(couldn't sleep on that side), then the straw was i fell skiing. anyways about 1yr for recovery to about 90% and was told never to train shoulders again, military press is the worst thing for a shoulder joint. I recently antaginized it doing bench...so I had to back off bench, all that recovery and hard work and well its scary not being able to be 100% but its part of life and getting older I guess. Good luck
