I think someone would probably have to sneak up behind you and hit you in the head with a brick to put you down and out.

That's why I enjoy this thread. It serves as a great tool to all skill levels. I never had anyone to point me in the right direction. Everything I've gotten has been through trial and error.

While its not a bad way of learning...... It's a bit slow lol. This website alone can some someone years. This thread speeds that up even faster

    Guys (and girls):

We were speaking of knee support and neoprene pull-on wraps a few pages ago. The brand I currently use is Tru-Fit (just remembered I didn't post it up) but it doesn't matter. Any sporting goods store should have something useful.

Legs today and my left knee is still a bit sore so I planned on taking it easier today:

Warmed up on extensions and worked up to a few straight, really controlled sets, moderate weight, no drops or RP's
Squats today. Kept them slow and controlled with just a moderate weight for 15 reps or so. Then a follow up with the same weight for 12-13. Real slow and focused to put max effort on the muscle and not slam into the knee.
Static one leg lunges for two sets.
Seated curls for 3 straight quick sets.
    Usual calf stuff.

Took some aleeve and loaded on the dmso. Pissing me off big time but it still wasn't too bad of a work out, all things considered.

Hey kel I got my DMSO. Pure pharm grade. I've used as is although ordered some 99%pure aloe vera I'm thinking of mixing. My main reason is your comment before and also upon research it seems it works better at a 70/30 split with DMSO being the larger part. I've had zero skin irritation so far but I've not been one of those ppl that react to much tbh.
My question is how soon would it be that I'll notice more reprieve pain wise. The only painful part left is where my bicep attaches under my armpit area so applying is awkward. And would u suggest several applications daily?
The injury was caused during a free standing curl using curling bar at 70kg and basically the shit ass spotter stopped bar motion 3/4 through my positive motion. Could of killed him. But due to strict murder laws I decided to not train wiv him. I am still taking nsaids.I.e nuproxen/diclofenac and tramadol for the pain. Prior to this I'd cut my painkillers right back as been years on them but need to take em at night or its literally. Zero sleep
    Thanks in advance

Yes, several app's daily and don't put anything (clothes) over top of it until completely dry. Don't put it on heavy either. How soon? We're all different but my guess would be a couple weeks. Gotta wait and see there. Keep me posted how this goes for you.

Thanks for the quick reply n yes I read to ensure no other contact until absorbed. I'll.let u know how it improves. Been bad for couple months atleast. All bicep movements have to be supported now as only way not painful.
Second day. Third application. Applying by finger as was advised online.

Back tonight....tried a "thickness" routine after reading some pointers given in here.

Kinda pre exhaust to start it.

Warm ups with standing lat pull downs

    Wide grip lat pulls
    195#x6 RPx2

    DB rows
95x6 (area of the gym way to busy to get a drop in)

    Close grip seated rows
    195#x6 drop x 2

    Tbar rows
    Had 3 45's and a 25...got 5 reps drop x 3

    Finished with some hypers

Just remember "Body building is a way of life or gets in the way of your life". Dont let it depict the direction of it. Because on a drop of a dime you may not be able to train any more and may have to live with regrets because of it. Bb'ing is a selfish sport....especially if you have a family. Being selfish is no way to live life.

Wow man that's deep, even moved me a bit. Unfortunately for me it may end anyway. The only thing that hurts is loosing my son, I mean that really hurts to think about that. I love him with all I have and Im proud he is around to grow up and carry on my name and maybe walk in his fathers footsteps one day. This lifelstyle has got me in some situations before that I cant speak of im sure you knkow what im talking about but I just cant quit. Its all I have going for me now. I'll just have to see where life takes me. And keep eating and training. Too late to look back now.

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

That's true. When you are looking so far ahead like me you forget about the little things that could happen....like if I got injured, a car wreck,...anything that could stop the training. It is a very selfish sport unfortunately you are right about that and it does get in my way from time to time.

Im gone make it somehow. Everybody in here has there own unique situation. I have mine, and im workin on making it the best can.
