    Just got through Back day

    3 working sets of Deadlifts
2 feel sets and 2 work sets of Barbell Row
2 feel sets and 2 work sets of Iso Lateral Row
2 feel sets and 2 work sets of Lat Pull down

Had a lot of energy today and went balls out. Finish the workout went home to a cup of white rice and two chicken breast and for the first time I felt like puking. Loving HIT

    Legs/abs as well today.

Need opinions here.. I think I already know the answer but want confirmation.

Here's my issue: back pumps. Severe ones. They're definitely hindering my workouts, particularly on leg and back days. In addition to back pump, now I'm getting leg pumps (outside portion of the leg by the calfs) When I dropped GH a few weeks ago, I added tbol, and the pumps came with it.

They've been getting progressively worse and today may have been the most painful training session I've ever had. Took all of me to finish.

So, I need to drop the tbol I think. I can obviously give more output without the pain and I'm not getting the reps I could get with it so who needs it right?

    Does everyone concur?

Legs today as well. All straight sets today, no RP's or drops.

One balls out heavy for 8 reps. Knee felt ok. Sat down for a quick minute then cranked out one more set with a little less weight for 12.
Two sets vertical presses. Minimal rest between. 12-15 reps each.
    Two sets extensions
    Two sets curls
    Usual calf stuff

Knee's a little tender now but all in all I'm not complaining. Was strong today.

Got a back session on today. I have to take the wife to town Friday so I'm going to hit the second hand sports.store go see if they have one of the short bars with "D" shaped handles on each end. I don't have one so I had to substitute V- shaped handle....

Low pulley cable rows with V handle
    2 feel sets
    Work 6-drop-6-drop-6-drop-4

    Wide grip pull down
    2 feel sets
    work-6-drop-4-drop-4
Grabbed 1 more work set @ starting weight-4
Stretched by pulling against Smith uprights

    BB row
    Work-6-4-4

    D'bell row
    1 feel set
Work 4-drop-3 good reps 1 crappy rep drop-4

Reserved dead lifts for next back session. Back is still a little wonky from a couple of weeks ago. I tweaked my spinal erectors and ended up @ Dr. office. Spent deadlift time stretching lower back.

If it's hindering vs. enhancing, I would gut it.

So....I'm seeing 2 widths of the "stirrup" handle lat bars. I'm thinking I would get more out of the narrower bar. Found out the local second hand sports placed closed...(dammit, it was a decent place.to buy plates ). Guess I'll order one.
    Which do y'all prefer?

Too many reps, unless it's a specific high rep day. Crank the weight up and keep it at 12 and under, including RP's and drops.

I prefer the narrow grip. Switch up at the gym but if I was buying one I would go with the close grip personally.

Done with chest and bis..... I met with a coach today. After the new year I'm going to work with him once a week - leg day :-)

Next fall I'm going to do a show. He's laid out a plan for me and he's excited to get me going. He thinks he can get me down to 235-240 from my weight now. I'd still be super-heavy weight.

Good things to come this year!

I'm really excited. He says I'm Using my front delts too much Durring my chest workouts. I've known that and have been trying to fix it but they're still overpowering my chest.

Regarding legs..... I just want them to be insane lol. He said having that added benefit of a partner on leg day will ramp up the intensity.

Just got through with chest today. Did something a little different with HIT, condense it a bit and got a strong workout today.

2 feel sets of Dumbbell press
1 work set of six reps, dp of 4, dp of 2. Heavy

2 feel sets of ISo INcline Hammer Press
1 work set of 8 reps, dp of 6, dp of 4, drop of 2

2 feel sets of Iso Wide Chest Hammer Press
1 work set of 8 reps, drop of 6, drop of 4, drop of 1

Chest is ****in burning off of only three exercises. Never had that happen before. My blood work says I have Low T, I can't ****in tell.

Nice big.. glad you killed it today. You're making progress no doubt about it.

On our iso incline hammer press movement, you went over 12 reps. Next time go heavier and keep the reps to 12 max.
