Got my federal refund in early this morning. Got a couple of items for lifting that I've had my eye on. Also, I 'm planning to start gathering a few odds and ends for a cycle in the (hopefully) near term future. Nothing drastic but just a little extra to give me a boost. Also will grab extra BP meds (Coreg/carvedilol and Atacand/candesartan) just in case it is needed.
Almost have my sister in law talked into helping me phlebotomize if necessary. She started off as a phlebotomist before she earned her R.N. so if I can get her on board that will make things easier.
Going to crash for awhile but you guys WILL see my back session posted late tonight/ early a.m. after I get settled in @ work. I'm starting to get myself back into the swing of EOD lifting. If I can get back to under 50 hrs./ week at work, I'd REALLY like to get back to lifting 5 days a week if recovery allows it.

The thought of doing babies again makes me cringe, lol. My kids are 20 and 16, one is moved out and the other will probably go away to school in a couple years. I see the light at the end of the tunnel, only babies here will be grandbabies, and I am in no hurry for that.

My shoulders get a lot of work on chest day so on shoulder day my focus is lateral raises to failure with drop sets. It really gets them pissed at me

Got a busy night coming up, so I want to get this entered before I start making chips.

    Lower back and body stretches
    2 sets of crunches

    WG pulldown w/ overhand grip-2 w/u, Work-6.5,drop,2.5,drop, 3.5
    Pulldown w/ stirrup handle- 1 w/u, Work- 4.5,drop,2.5,drop,3.5
    Straightjacket stretches
    Tbar rows- 1w/u, Work- 7.5,drop,2.5,drop, 3.5
Low pulley rows w/ V handle- Work-9.5,drop,4,drop,3.5. No warmup set on these this time as everything felt G2G. Since I'm past the upper end of my rep range, if all feels well next time, I will bump this weight up.
    Toe touches
Deads- 2 w/u , Work1-7 good reps, dropped weight back to my second w/u weight, Work2-8 good reps.
D'bell rows off of flat bench- 5.5 good reps with a heavier weight than last time.

43 minutes not including crunches and stretches. Back has a nice dull ache in between shoulder blades/ parallel to spine. Also, upper glutes and lower back are fatigued.

    I f-in love it.

Yes, it is. I got some Danner mountain boots many years ago during a TDY @ Ft. Lewis. Excellent boots!
I looked at some Danner work boots today, but they didn't have my size. Been wearing the Timberlands for quite some time.

Doesn't make sense why I would have any issues. Im in excellent health, have only ever cycled once and only testosterone , and blood testing showed me negative for all likely diseases that would cause this. Shoot, I barely ever drink. Befuddled.

Is this cause to put my next cycle on hold? Damn.

That's not that bad. My AST and ALT are routinely around 40 to 55 and my doctor knows I eat a lot of protein and lift intensely so is not concerned.

When I ran tren , my AST/ALT were a little over 200 mid cycle and my doc still wasn't that worried, he just asked me why I thought it was that high, as in had I been doing anything that may be responsible. I told him I had been taking AAS but it was only he and I in the room and I said that was off the record, if it ever showed up in my records I would deny it and file a complaint with the medical board. He's been my doctor for years, so I'm not worried about that I just threw it out there so he'd know how serious I am about things I tell him 'off the record'. I want him to have a full tool box, not playing a guessing game based on lies or omissions. He appreciates that. However, back to the subject at hand.... He said he wouldn't be concerned unless it stayed that high for a long time (I get tests every 3 months when cycling and every 6 months when not). He also said if either number got near 400 he'd worry and that he has cirrhosis patients that are regularly in the 1000+ range so 200 given the circumstances was not that big of a deal. He didn't know what the hell trenbolone was but he knows I know my shit when it comes to pharmaceuticals so I have him a short synopsis and told him I was certain it was responsible for the elevated enzymes. He just said come back after you stop taking it and a few months have passed then we'll reassess. I was back to 40ish after 8 weeks off cycle.

Point is, my numbers as I said are routinely around 40-50 which he attributes to my diet and training. I have had many abdominal ultrasounds focused on liver and pancreas, a few MRI's and about 6 CT scans. I'm in great health according to my gastroenterologist and my pcp. Even after that bad episode of pancreatitis, which screwed my liver enzymes pretty bad for awhile.

You're most likely just fine. Keep getting tested periodically and work closely with your doctors. I'm big on internal organ maintenance reviews. Most people get their vehicles diagnosed far more than their bodies. Tsk tsk!

Ha ha thanks Java Man. Shared select portions of this with my wife. She doesn't like me blasting test so I don't talk about it with her much. My doctor really sucks and I'm looking for a good one now. But I agree, regular and frequent maintenance reviews are a must. I have had an MRI, tons of X-rays, the ultrasound on my internal organs, and blood work by the load nearly monthly. I am still very new to the dark side, but I'd like to think I'm learning fast. Only playing with test to date. Second blast in the near future once they clear my blood tests.

Going to start taking NAC tomorrow to help my liver. Any advice on finding a good pcp? I've been told a young one is best for having an open mind with regard to my being able to be open more about cycles, etc.

Really nice to hear that my numbers aren't so bad. My doc did say that they have always been in the higher end of the range, but because it got much more above the range they are being safe.

    Arms today

    BB Curl 12, 9, working: 6 rp 2 rp 2
    Incline DB Curl 10, 9, working: 6 rp r rp 3
Standing concentration curl 6 drop 3 drop 3
    BB Wrist Curl 15, 10
    Pushdowns 12, 10, working: 5 drop 4 drop 4
    Close Grip Bench 12, 8, working: 4 drop 4 drop 4
    One arm overhead ext 13, 12, working: 6 drop 4 drop 4

Working on getting my mind right and pushing these sets all out. First arms workout in HIT. Given my reps, I obviously went a little light on some or underestimated how much I had left in me. Not pushing myself hard enough in first working set of each as my drops and rest pauses result in higher reps than intended.

Been keeping my eyes out for some quality combat boots that won't bankrupt me too. I am on my feet in an extra 35 pounds of gear 10-16 hours a day nonstop walking and standing. Tried some Metro Original SWAT boots with great Amazon reviews and a good price....thinking I got what I paid for. Hurting.

Those Danners looked nice, but I had no clue boots could be that expensive! Wow.

Those Timberlands....are those available in combat boot as well?

Not for lack of trying! I consistently feel I haven't put my all out there when I finish. Working harder than ever before, but there's still some left....just can't seem to tap it yet.

Those Danners looked nice, but I had no clue boots could be that expensive! Wow.

Those Timberlands....are those available in combat boot as well?

Not that I know of, tduff. But they do have some decent, sturdy work boots IMO. I'll shoot you a link to something similar on their website.

There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I went through a few before I found this one. I always discuss my test results with them. If they act haughty or have an attitude, I go to another doctor on my next appointment. The one I have now is about my age, maybe a little older, 50 maybe. You don't want one too young because although they may be book smart they tend to not have the experience in the real world. That makes them hard to relate to in my experience. Find one who's open minded and isn't arrogant. You may have to go to 3 or 4 before you find one who's human.

I can vouch for Danner. I'm on my second pair of quarry's and the foot bed is just as comfortable as day 1. Wear them upwards of 60hrs a week just at work and aside from the gym they are my go to footwear outside work as well.

You want to see a price for boots look up Wesco. Those run upwards of 400 a pair.

So I hit it for the first time in 2 weeks yesterday. It was a wicked delt and bi session!

Rear delt flys: 2 warm up, 1 feel, 1 working w RP

Face pulls: 1 feel, 1 working w RP.

Cable side raises: 1 feel, 1 working w RP.

One arm DB upright row: 1 feel, 1 working w RP.

DB shoulder press: 2 feel, 1 working w RP.

Incline DB curls: 1 warm up, 1 feel, 1 working w RP

Ez bar preacher curl: 1 working w RP, 1 working w 1 drop and RP

Cable concentration curl: 1 working w forced and neg.

Headed in for my back session right now. Woke up this morning feeling like I could tackle a brick wall and win, so this should be a good one!

Rolled through my back session like a machine!

Cable pullovers: 2 warm ups, 1 feel, 1 working w double drop

Wide neutral grip pulldowns: 1 feel, 1 working w double drop

V handle pulldowns: 1 working double drop

Seated cable row: 1 feel, 1 working double drop

Bent over bb row: 1 feel, 1 working w RP

Kneeling DB row: 1 feel, 1 working a RP

Incline bench rear fly: 1 working w RP

Behind the back smith shrugs: 3 straight sets and partials

    Hyper extensions: 1 warm up, 1 feel, 1 working w 1 drop.

I have a few co workers that hit the gym same time I do after work, and from time to time they ask for advice. They were hitting a few sets of deadlifts this session and one guy was going for a max and having some form issues. I felt so damned good this session that when I offered some tips and a visual. I still managed to pull the 405 he had on the bar and get back to my next set within my 60 sec rest window. That was the first ground based deadlift I've done in a couple years now, so I was pretty pleased with my self.
