Haz man that looks awesome. Both recipes.

Anyway you can try fire roasting those veg next time? Or maybe set oven to higher temp on broil setting.

How did the pork come out?

R u making your own shells for tacos? Long time ago we did our own chiulpa shells, came out great.

Yea fire roasting would give it a bit more flavor. I have to edit the recipe for the tomatillo sauce - when its blended you add 1/2 of a juiced lime an then stir.

Not making my own shells..... I'm not that skilled :-p

I'm using a super soft tortilla - ill warm em up and serve. I'm also serving Arroz con guandules.

Proper way to build the taco - or maybe Haz's way.....

    Tortilla
    Tomatillo sauce
    Shredded pork
    Queso fresco
    Hot sauce
    Tomato's
    Avocado
    Fresh cilantro

Did some legs went rather well but my lower back is suffering now. Did various movements but one what was really good and felt productive was the V squat reverse.

2 warm up sets each set I added more weight, did some stretches but didn't stretch pout of the range of the movement I was doing. Added some more weight and did another set it felt so easy I took that as my last warm up set.
1 working set, loaded the machine feet pointing outwards, looked ahead and started to think of things what ignite the fire within me, deep breaths then I braced and lowered my diaphragm and started to twist my feet into the floor, glutes tensed up and I took another belly breath and down I went, no issues and felt easy, did a straight 10 reps. Wasn't hard enough and needed more weight so another 2 plates a side were added. same again but really got into the zone, braced, feet twisting deep belly breath and down slowly and came up with no issues, I felt tight and string. Carried on until rep 8 when I started to slow down the pace of the rep and mid movement I was stalling but squeezed another out. Locked the weight and stripped the machine and repped more out until I started to see spots, stopped and took 15 deep breaths, braced and carried on for another 3 reps and stopped. Everything was on fire and I must if been making a noise because when I looked around the gym everyone was watching, which always makes me feel good.

That post just got me excited for leg day lol

Shooting for 7 plate each side on hack squat and 6ea on the V's.

Those reverse v squats are murder on the quads and glutes. Such a great movement!

Nice! Once you found your wind, you could mess with their head. Just glance around the room and yell, "What are the lot of you looking at? Haven't you ever seen a man warm up properly?" and then just shake your head and move onto the next lift.

I'll have to say reverse hacks are my favorite leg movement right now. My r. knee gives me fits on hacks, I get this irritating pain on the lower inside of my knee and it is keeping me from moving up in weight.
However, reverse hacks are going well. I can get relatively low (almost tapping the bottom stops on the machine) and really drive up through the platform with glutes and quads. Generally, when I finish the set, I am hanging off of the machine watching my body rain sweat onto the floor while I try to find my balance and wait for the heart to slow down some.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Usual work night tonight, but I will be hitting chest this evening. I feel a lot of drop setting coming up, too.

Since I lift down in my shop, I am kind of limited on my exercises, but these have strengthened my glutes, hams, and quads. These are the exercise that the breathing bracing helped me progress on.
I do go a little lower than the guy in the video. Occasionally, I will superset hacks with reverse hacks. Really puts me through the wringer.

Ive never seen anything like that before, it looks very unstable movement but if your getting results well done.

It took a bit of getting used to the movement, but it is easier on the knee that gives me problems and has strengthened up hips, glutes, and hams.. I still keep at the regular hacks too in hopes I can work through the knee problem.
There's a Flex Wheeler video called Mass Construction. Around 11:30 of the video there is a decent sequence of him doing reverse hacks that is very similar to performing them in an angled leg press.

LOL, I spent most of the night at work drag @ssing around thinking I was tired. Just realized that I'm not tired, I am sore as f*ck!
My lower back, hams, glutes, and to a lesser degree, lats, are pitifully sore.
