I think the body has a way of expelling excess vitamin intake, don't ask me how but my doc told me once after I asked him if I could take TOO MUCH vitamins.

there are vitamins that your body cannot deal with in excess for sure; the oil soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.

they can be stored in your liver for later but after awhile your liver doesn't like it and you'll get sick. water soluble vitamins like B's and C usually just piss away, though too much C can cause relatively minor problems in some people.

your body only absorbs a small amount from GI tract and you poop the rest. problems like hemachromatosis where your body gets overloaded are usually from internal problems with iron storage/mobilization and not from eating too much.
