Actually just haven't gotten around to giving the forearms the HIT treatment yet, so that was why I did the more traditional 3 set approach.

Weird thing, my grip is insane, plus with my hand size I can do some very nice palming moves with a basketball - but genetics tell me forearm size isn't for me, mismatch there.

Congrats! I used to envy my grandfather's forearms - he was a bricklayer for a large part of his life. When I was in my teens I used to pick part-time jobs involving hard physical labor hoping I could capture that look.

I started using using 2" alpha grips that definitely help but can only get a good forearm workout from ironmind grippers.

If you can work up to a #2 ironmind gripper than you can equeez a potato in your hand and make it explode.
Huge fan of the Ironmind info in general and the CoC grippers, etc.

Not sure what you do for your forearms but try some hammer curls, try them across the body and also straight out with your elbows pinned to the sides which ever feels better to target brachioradialis best, then go into wrist curls either with db's or straight bar which ever feels best for your wrists and make those babies burn and once that serious pain and your wrists wont move carry on doing what ever you can go past the norm. If you can grip your steering wheel when you get outside normally you haven't trained them hard enough. Adding in rest pause, drops ect will help push those tough fibers to respond. That's what ive found best to build some thickness and size in the area

    Morning everyone!

My legs are still in suffering mode... And I will have to go hit hams today still... Kinda not looking forward to that at all.

Shoulders feel weird, arms feel extra heavy, no doms on delts yet...

Life and work gets in the way last few days and downing good amount of kcals is a battle to be dealt with when time is scarce. Thinking on trying some intermittent fasting and carb cycling on weekends to make my life more sociable by the end of the week.

I like having my elbows pinned to the sides... Seems to hit my brachialis(sp) much more and targets thickness in my bis as well

    This is spot on Marcus.

Exactly the type of curls I've added to arm day, but I didn't notice any difference in forearm activation until using rubber sleeves that go over the DB/BB and increase the thickness to 2".

With hammers you will have to adjust the angle to hit your desired location, some like it straight out some across the body and some inbetween both. Dropset those hammers to death

DB wrist curls are better for me because the wrist isn't locked and I can curl it up in the groove of my wrist, right down let it hang and crunch up.

Ive never used sleeves but if they are working stick with them

I prefer hammers in front cross body with a belt. Let's me go much heavier 55-60 lb for 6-8.

I figure the heavier you go (with proper form) has to be better for mass.

Heavy hammers will help put some size on. I never liked them to shape my biceps..get some cheat reps in on those hammers. Go as heavy as a you can

I've been supersetting wrist curls palms up and palms down w/ a dry Oly bar straight into seated hammer curls. Think I will start doing pinwheels/cross body hammers in lieu of the seated hammer curls.

Remember seeing Samuelsson closing the #3 (I believe) and clicking them together at Pudzianowski. LOL, totally pissed Pudzianowski off.
Also remember when Samuelsson broke Nathan Jones arm in an arm wrestling event @ WSM. Very brutal to see it.

No sir, RC. I lift in my shop. However on occasion I will have the redneck version of Chris Duffin's "Whiskey and Deadlifts" except I use local "spring water" instead of whiskey.

Yes, she has aged very nicely! Brookfield is hell on conditioning too. Pull up some of his truck pulling on YouTube if you haven't already seen it. The man doesn't know the word "quit"! His conditioning drills are very old school and basic but also effective.

The gym you workout mostly comes down to convenience.

The more convenient it is the less sessions you'll miss.

I workout at a hipster gym because it's 24 hours and literally next door to my apartment.
