Yesterday abs for 1 hour.
Honestly I'm not sure what 90% of the movements I do are called. If anyone is interested I can link some videos.
Emphasis on lower abs, obliques, inner and outer coastal.
Chest/back this afternoon. Back didn't feel 100% yesterday so I might just destroy chest.
What was the prognosis yesterday?
Is the doc going to cut off both arms or just one?

Mine have been killing me when I wake up. Think it's a combo of inflammation and my sleeping on my sides. Voltaren gel is defo a blessing and the Voodoo floss is also a relief.
Got home from work and had to reschedule my massage. The holding tank for my well pump decided to let go/dump its guts and of course nothing is plug and play. About the only thing common between the new tanks and my old tank in the inlet size. So, will have to replumb some stuff, move the pressure control switch from the side of the tank to the "T" on the supply line, etc, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.
Have the new tank and think I am going to say screw it and lay down for at least a few hours before starting. My shift ended up being 11 hours long and I am whooped. Have enough water drawn up to flush the toilets and keep the beast's water bowl full. Also, lots of bottled water on hand. Guess that's country life, but it's good enough for who it is for.Last edited by almostgone; 09-23-2016 at 12:14 PM.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Yes sir! I don't know if it squeezes out the inflammation or exactly what it does to the area in question, but man, when you release the pressure and the blood rushes back into the area it feels so f-in good. The wife occasionally messes up her elbows wrestling with our mastiff (we refer to him as our "beast"), and she can't believe how well it works.

Ok so last night at the gym it was a good night, all the usual guys were in and one was a guy i have known for a few years. We met at the gym and talk all the time and get on good, so last night he was doing back and going set for set with one of the other fellas.
It was a good laugh as we alwas take the piss out of his form, so as i was leaving he was going to the toilet to wash his face as he said his eyes were burning. I always go to the toilet to wash my hands when am finished my session but for some reason i never last night.
So i goes in the day and his car was in the car park, i went in and the guys told me a guy found him in the toilet covered in sick/pee collapsed out cold. Phoned the ambulance and at first they thought he had a stroke or heart attack.
We found out when we were at the gym the day that he had a aneurysm and is on a life support machine. Unreal, so he was running this lab i asked about above, they were oxys but he wasn't putting any weight on at all he had been on them for wks and wks.
One of the other fellas checked the lab out for him last wk and they have very very bad reviews. They were defo not oxys anyway or if they were they were very under dosed.
Not saying it was anything to do with this lab just saying what went on, so sad. One min were all there training then that in a matter of min.Last edited by clarky.; 09-23-2016 at 12:39 PM.

Nach it's been about 1.5 years maybe? How long have u been In the dungeon?
Cardiologist says enlarged aorta....surgeon calls it an aneurysm.
That's why I take the BP meds. Not cause I have high bp....I guess these two meds keep the enlargement from growing (or slows it down at least)

I think 2yrs - I joined around of 300 lol I think 350 maybe... Anyway I do think I recall you talking about it briefly for a short period(is that why you had to go lighter period when lifting besides your BP)?? <--- don't know how I missed that above - I remember now!
I had a buddy in HS - didn't know he had one - was a BBer at 160 in HS he was benching over 3plates aside for reps I think... All around very strong(short and stocky as fvk) was doing deads and the aneurism exploded and his hands were hard around the bar they couldn't get the bar out of his hands(he was only 16) - he wasn't even aware of anything - sadLast edited by NACH3; 09-23-2016 at 03:18 PM.

Humm, I just do 5 minute abs as warmup, maybe thats why I just have flabs
The ultrasound doc confirmed its de quervain's tenosynovitis, doesnt affect me much training, just if I set the wrist wrong in presses and in some curls.
If anybody wants to know what is this condition here is a good description: De Quervain’s Syndrome | Dr. Barbara Bergin
Consult with hand specialist is next wednesday, when ultrasound report is ready. Should I ask for a local shot of prednisone?

Confused here. Were you working out in the west coast, the east coast, the mid-west - just where exactly?
Just f'n with you Numbere. You helped me out so much with my first cycle - just couldn't resist, you're a great guy!
And it's Friday nite, my favorite time of the week - letting loose a bit.
Great week of training for me, feeling good as I'm cruising to 58. Have a good one gang!

I'm jus checkin in with you fellas! Been insanely busy with work. It's crazy..... I'm not hating it though. Hafta grind now so down the road I won't have to go as hard.
My training is slacking big time but I don't have the time at all. It's not even fathomable. I'm working 12-14hr days with 2-2.5 hours of total commute time.
Things should be slowing down and thus giving me more time. Once I'm back to 40hr weeks I'll be on that HIT routine again :-) can't wait!
