My arms are crushed from todays workout. I really was just focusing on my arms and letting my arms lift the weights. I went back and re read some of this thread and got me fired up this morning before going in. Damn if it didn't help...

Fairly decent tonight for a pullback. About ready to go back to full HIT.
A work set on most stuff, drop a bit of weight, and then another working set. Was a bit pushed for time, so I did more close grip Smythe work than usual.

    Incline d'bell curl- 2 w/u, Work 1-8 reps, Work 2-6 reps.
    Seated d'bell curl- 1 w/u, Work 1-3+ reps, Work 2- 6+ reps
    WG EZ curl- Work-4+ reps.
CG cable curls- Work 1- 5 reps w/ a slow 5 count neg and pos. Work2-5 reps w/ a slow 5 count neg. and pos.
Close grip Smythe press- 2 w/u, Work1-5+ reps, Work2-4+ reps, Work 3-5+ reps
Triceps pressdown w/ rope handle-Work1-5 reps, Work2-7+ reps.

    44 minutes.

Its an insane pump especially if you time the carbs right. Just genetic, always been strong in the arm and weak in yhe leg. The guys that are good all around its much easier for them to turn pro

Talk about working out while fully carbed up, its amazing experience, my last workout was chest and back after carby weekend, I felt crazy good and pump was amazing, had few veins on my right lat pop up and now, two days later, still sore as after pulling ships all day

Hey Prox how long do you figure you lived with low t?

What made you decide to get on the TRT train?

    ...

I had an awesome week of workouts, one of the best weeks in a while.

Have been doing a crappy job of detailing my sessions here, going to make a conscious effort to do a better job logging workouts.

Have an hour or so of abs and obliques this afternoon.

    Chest blasted

Was kinda annoying but got it done at this new gym. I will probably not be able to cable flies ever here but worked around it. Also pretty sure they don't have air conditioning lol.

One dude did smith inclines the entire time I was there. Probably 40ish mins.

So had to improvise this session

Incline DB flies 3w 1f 1w then rp for 2 reps and then again for 1 rep.

Incline bb press 1f 1w rpx1 rep dd

Incline hammer strength super set into decline hammer strength. 2w

    Pec/Dec 2w dd

    One arm db flies 2w

    Nice session buddy!
    How's the new gym, Sfla?

I've been thinking of starting with cables(all angles to pre-exhaust my chest moreso)

I really like the constant tension with cables or band work and it really moves blood into the area

With my shoulder issues what's your guys take on implementing some BB presses every now and then??

Feels good to be in new gym. Kinda like a fresh start.

Its huge but it's a disaster....weights everywhere no organization.

Yeah I love cable work especially to start, but they only have 2 and one is broken now. So we will see.

Nach have u stopped all presses...even smith? I remember u used to utilize the smith alot. How does that feel on the shoulder?

Imo stick your DBs if you want to get off the smith. If you ever have an issue or just feel off you can drop them and not make a bad situation worse.

No... Surely not chest pressing(the frontal plane is much more welcoming for me to press in)... So for delts I've been hitting them w/rev hammer strength presses(facing the recline) which gives me more ROM and let's me lock into my lift much better(being able to pull my blades together and lock in my R scapula for more comfort)...

Yeah I agree Numbere... Just always liked the way the BB shaped my chest(squared off more)

But all in all if be better off just dropping the weight(Bells Etc) if a problem occurred!

    LEGS=SHOT!!

Legs are full and heavy guys. Great session for sure. Tomorrow is going to be an off day for me. Will more than likely do some stretching.

What do you guys think about this. 2 on 1 off 3 on 1 off.... while on cycle? Or should I work more like 6 days a week?
I try and take Saturday or Sunday and just spend time with the wife since I work 2nd and she works 1st. The other day we workout together either Saturday or Sunday which ever one we take off.

Hope everyone has a good day!!

X2 on that! And bells are so much easier on my shoulder joints. They are free to track independently vs. being locked @ a fixed distance on a bar for the entire movement.

Just finished 9 oz. of bone-in ribeye, grilled squash and grilled eggplant, and I splurged and had a decent sized russet potato. Barely got to rmeat real.food at work last night. Mainly a few ounces of almonds a.couple.of times, a WPI shake, 50g of plain shredded wheat, and I inhaled a small amount of flank steak.
Getting ready to crash. That was an 11 hour shift and I am beat down. Hoping to get in shoulders tonight if In wake up in time.

Listen to your body Bod... A 2on 1off worked great for me... Just needed a lil extra rest after shoulder or pressing days - you will recover quicker on cycle but it's also important to rest...

I'm now pretty much on a EOD schedule and I'm responding well to this too!

What's your split looking like now?

Its very common, says my hand specialist.

If you are asking why it happens no one knows, but I would stop holding the smartphone with your left hand, another name for it's blackberry thumb.

You may still be in early stages.

Ok fellas did some fill in work today - lots of accessory work on CHEST and some accessory DELT work since my front delts were hammered

    INCLINE Cable Flys
    Warm ups
5 Straight sets 10-15 reps pyramiding up to 2-3 heavy sets

    Seated cables low to high
5 straight sets said as above(10-12)

Bent over Cables(back flat) like your flexing ' on someone's ass lolol
    5 straight sets 8-12

    Incline hammer strength press
5 straight sets 6-12 ^^ all ex's pyramided up to 2-3 heavier sets to failure(so each set reps went down)

Heavy side laterals - felt good

    Rear delts(rev flys)

That's all she wrote today - felt good doing some shaping ex's today and I'll be rested for back & traps after legs
    Feeling strong
