Not a good weekend for me, my wrist got 100% worse. After late saturday night sushi with wife, leaving restaurant was putting wallet in back pocket, and seemed like wrist got struck by 1000volts, severe pain like dropping on floor pain. Got home still in pain, basically couldn't do nothing with left hand, any movement would bring this sharp pain again. So, i'm on a ibuprofen diet since then , it numbs the pain to bearable levels.
Today woke up with sore throat, hoping it doesn't escalate to throat infection

    FFS what else is coming??

Shit, that royally sucks and I hope this is a one time thing, BB. Think an NSAID like Voltaren (tabs and /gel) or Meloxicam would do any better? Or perhaps amitryptiline in the short term until the situation either improves or can be somewhat alleviated? Just idle thoughts on my part; thought maybe the amitryptiline might cut back on the nerve feedback? I know it's a tricyclic but it did wonders for the severe headaches I use to get.
Of course, the "to go" Stadol injections my old Dr. used to give me did a better job of nuking pain, but weren't appropriate for frequent use. Also, after I got home and took the first injection, I subsequently woke up face down in a plate of Tex-Mex food.
Depo-Medol injects are nice but I don't like to be a frequent flyer with those.

Edit: I'm just rambling off random ideas here, Mr. BB. Trying to offer up something that might be of use. Really hope this will abate of its own accord.

What movements cause you the most pain, BB? Is it wrist or both wrist and forearm?!

Regardless, I sure hope it gets better sooner than later, buddy!

Its tenosynovitis de Quervain's. Its on the thumb extensor tendon.

Any movement of extension of thumb (moving away from index finger) will cause pain. Literally have no extensor strength what so ever by now

Voltaren is not doing much. Ibuprofen reduces pain like 50%.

Just canceled the wednesday consult, and scheduled new one but with surgeon, exchanged a few emails with him so his on-board.

Trying for him to do the corticosteroid infiltration guided by ultrasound for better accuracy. If it doesnt work, will have to operate

    Gotcha... Nice pic!

I was thinking more(carpel tunnel) as I have that in my R forearm(after my forearm is very fatigued it causes like a shin splint effect)

I'm hoping it doesn't escalate... Is there anything besides a cortisone shot that would help? Are you going to get one or look into something further...

Edit... I see above what your thinking

B on the plus side of things I've read that tenosynovitis de Quervain's goes away naturally either when pregnancy is over or you stop breast feeding.

Humm, I know you were joking but could it be something to do with high progesterone? Both my prolactin and E2 are low although my nips get a bit sored, but never tested progesterone...

That's a great question. Asked myself the same thing when I read it this morning. I mean to look into it when I get some time. Prepping for a quiz this evening.

Weren't you on tren ? In men most progesterone comes from the testes. If your on HCG , chances are your prog might be a bit high.

    Indeed it is.

Anyway... I don't know how having "high progesterone" would relate to your tenosynovitis. In pregnancy, an heck load of things happen.

Progesterone in fact its anti-inflammatory, and I suspect deca has the same effect due to its nature as a progestin, and as indirect 5-ar inhibitor. DHT downregulates both progesterone and oestrogen effect on tissues, thus deca can allow them to become more effective.

Tren doesn't show any though... I still have to make up my mind on it as a progestin, it's known to bind to prog receptor with affinity stronger than prog but I have seen nothing assessing its actual potency. If it were lower than prog, it might act a partial agonist. It's a metabolic enhancer despite the fact prog enhances stores of adipose tissue, and even lowers T3 output. Deca, on the other side, is a renowned bulk agent.

19 nors are quite fascinating compunds

Several times a day? No wonder your legs are so huge and vascular - thought it was the squats, but it's just the repeated trips to the bathroom & getting on and off of the can that many times per day.

Realized I'm just a few days past my one year anniversary of starting test and being a member of this forum.

Here's my progress in just one year:

Starting weight 182, ending weight 198 - body fat lost (per underwater weighing) at least 5 pounds.

TRT the first 7 months gave me 12 of those pounds and all of the fat loss.

Edit: sorry meant to say, I actually had a gain of 12 pounds muscle and a loss of 5 pounds fat, putting me in at 189 before cycle.

8 weeks post my first cycle this summer, (525 test C per wk), I am up another 9 pounds, with maybe a gain of a couple of those fat pounds back.

Ok, let's see if I can get this done properly. Will post up later.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Back session. Again using what I got, so it was an independant strength Bowflex.which sucks cuz for back I like to go high volume and heavy weight, free weights and cables.
    -Upper back

30 seconds rest Inbetween sets (first move then right into the super set move with no rest = 1 set)
-Wide grip heavy rows super set with same seated position arms stretched out in front shrugs straight back to isolate the mid traps.. 4 sets of 8 reps wide rows/12 super set reps back shrugs

-Wide grip palms facing away pull ups. (To failure ) super set right into wide grip Lat pull downs about 8-10 reps (isn't enough weight to do another hard 8 reps )

    -Lower back

-4 sets of as many I can do ( of regular set plus super set combo no rest between moves and 30 seconds rest between total sets )

Palms facing towards me pull ups, closed grip and elbows kept against sides to focus on lower lats (as many as I can do )
    - no rest and right into a super set of seated cable rows (elbows to sides to focus on lower lats) (about 8 reps on the super set move )

    - face down on an incline bench , 3 sets of Y raises super sets using dumbells.
6-8 reps, drop weight and do another 6-7 reps.( Isolates lower traps I.e lower traps are activated by the shoulder blades rotating down and inward )

    - roughly 4 sets of 6-8 reps Wide grip lat pull overs using independant high cables with a straight bar going through the hand grips, in a seated upright position for full range of motion

-3 sets of TBar rows (I mimicked the movement by grabbing both grip handles together and locking in both hands and then doing the TBar row. About 10-12 reps. Was real light but I was starting to fatigue muscles

Attempted a few sets of straight leg deadlifts/ lower back / spinal erectors workout whatever they are called. It was awkward so stopped at 3 sets of about 12
Figured I should keep the workout relatively quick so I don't go catabolic. All natural. So I stopped
Upper Back was looking nice and thick.
HIT That one time and choke
