I suppose in theory you could use any volatile liquid with a boiling point around about 50 - 200 celsius.

Alcohol boils at about 78 celsius... so you could cut the top off a 4-gallon drum filled with Ethanol and just let it evaporate.

Too sore from yesterday’s killer workout to indulge today so walked 6 miles. And my knee is feeling it, especially near the end. Back to wearing compression brace!

    Chest and Bi's yesterday:

Band warm up's. Always do these since shoulder tear.
Incline dumbell press: 3 working 12-15 reps
Incline smith press: 3 working 6-10 reps
Flat dumbell flyes: 3 working 12-15 reps

Above sequence seems to be helping my elbow inflammation. When I move to smith inclines all irritation is gone.

Preacher curls: 3 working 8-12 reps
Standing barbell: 3 sets 8-10 super strict
Alternating hammer curls: 3 sets 10 reps

Good day. Legs on the agenda later today.

More Bosu ball planks and band work for me in about an hour.

    Slowest recovery ever. Very demotivating.

Another 6 weeks then another nerve conduction study to see if there is/how much improvement. Right now when the nerve should be electrically "silent" there's what they describe as a lot of electrical noise which indicates damage to the myelin sheath (that's what they're telling me). If there's no improvement, then they'll be pushing harder to get the neurosurgeon to press buttons to get me in for a little surgery and basically the process will start again, but hopefully with better results.

It's very....perturbing. Sometimes my arm will barely respond or will just suddenly crap out with very light weight; occasionally I can get to the point that I can tell something good is happening. I just tell myself they'll be more good days than bad in the future. The area where I work and where I would be having surgery had the highest number of coronavirus cases per capita of all mid-sized cities in the U.S. as of early January, which has things happening at a snail's pace.

I have learned to remove my glasses before the Bosu planks. Faceplants are rough on my glasses.

You’re a better patient than me when not seeing results! I’m a surgery girl...get it fixed!

So I’ve NEVER done a Bosu plank. NEVER. Contacts?

Probably too clumsy for contacts. I'd end up with a glass eye or a pirate patch.

Oh, I've got to share with you, Kel! It's so f-in special, especially when you hold them for as long as you can or until your arm suddenly collapses with no warning. The instability of the ball constantly forced slightly different muscle engagement/ nerves firing.

Edit: I keep my feet slightly closer together than in the picture. Not much, just a tad closer.

    Legs yesterday:

Stationary bike to warm up knees
Seated leg curls: 3 working 10-12 reps with pause
Vertical press: 3 sets with drop on last 15 ish reps
Dumbell static lunges: 3 sets 15-20 reps
Leg extensions: 3 sets light 20 reps (top half of ROM only)
Calves on vertical press: 3 sets 15ish reps
    Seated calves: same as above

Was supposed to squat but lower back felt a bit off so for once I listened to my body. Back at them next week.

    **Marcus's HIT Dungeon**

Busy busy at work and playing hostess kept me from workouts.

Today 40 min in sauna dancing. Headed out for my first massage in a year. My place went out of business during height of pandemic with restrictions placed on “select businesses” bull . Gosh I can’t hardly wait!!!

Back to normal workout schedule this week!!

Hi fellas/Girly, Heavy snow here since yesterday, work got shut down this afternoon I love the snow, the Mrs took the wee guy sledging yesterday for the 1st time. I was at work

He is 20 months old and the 1st time he has seen snow, he loved it. Me and him were out playing in it not long ago, he thought it was hilarious that him and mum were firing snow balls at me

Got a lot of work on again so working daft hours again, also got a new dog, not got her yet we have to wait another 4 wks for her. I missed not having my dog loved them.

    Hour Pilates.

Still recovering from late Super Bowl. I just don’t do well without proper rest since I get up early.

With permanent telework, considering if should adjust work schedule to start 1.5 hours later to accommodate early morning workouts in my basement Fitness Studio.

I am a morning person. Just not that early!
