Actually, a tad longer, GGR. COVID-19 really screwed up my treatment plan.

Actually, I try not to let it show as best as I can. When it comes to things I want/need to get done I am notoriously impatient/borderline dislike myself.

Yesterday I wasn’t able to walk - too cold in rain so today I made up for yesterday with 7.5 miles!

Also did the 3rd 15 min hiit session then 5 min burnout.

my push-ups weren’t as pathetic today!

20 min Hiit w/ fat burner!

4.3mi walk with my neighbor!! We hustled.

Surprisingly still sore in thighs and glutes from Friday’s hiit. I’m noticing some slight change already. My body is responding well to this format!

Before lockdown I went for a 90-minute massage about once a month.

Then during lockdown, masseuses weren't allowed to operate. And so I secretly messaged the masseuse and said I would be discreet. So I went over to her place for a 90-minute massage, and she actually massage me for two-and-a-half hours.

And then the next time she did the same thing again, 150 minutes instead of 90 minutes. I never thought I would get bored of a massage, but by the end of the second 150min massage I just wanted to go.

I think next time I'll just do an hour.

Shoot, if she's good at deep tissue work, I would've laid there for the entire 2.5 hours.

I popped my food scale battery out and it falls to floor.

I’ve been doing this Metabolic Renewal program for 2 weeks. Eat 1200 calories plus or minus, 3x 20min hiit workouts and daily walking 8000 steps plus.

Didn’t take before pics, scale or measurements! I do what I want.

This morning I am noticing a difference!!!
No inflammation of body. A little more definition in tummy and arms.

Slept 12 hours!! Feel great!! Mood high!!

    Exercise is amazing medicine!!

The last few days have been a blur, but the neurosurgeon mentioned one of two possibilities:

    1).posterior cervical laminectomy and fusion
    2).posterior cervical decompression and fusion

The latest imaging showed more damage to the nerves than the earlier imaging. I don't know if he was screwing with me or not, but he advised me to drive very carefully band avoid unnecessary time on the road, doing much tractor work or cutting grass on a riding mower, no fighting, etc. Supposedly, the nerves in question could be permanently damaged with a decent chance of paralysis in some level.

I'm just ready to get this thing done and start rebuilding. Triceps are strong, but delt movements are weak, and I have trouble curling 5 lbs. with my bad arm.

Should be. The same day I had consultation done, I hauled butt back to see my cardiologist for cardiac clearance, and then did a double red donation because y'all know my ability to crank out RBCs.

Waiting on the call now. Wednesday they said they should have me a date to slice and dice within 5-7 days. C-5, C-6, and potentially C-7. Unsure about C-7, he said imaging can be slightly misleading at times, but defo C-5 and C-6.
