Love the staples. Your first physical therapy exercise is that you’ll have to remove them yourself. Gotta get those shoulders mobile.

Seriously though, very glad you had it done and you are on the road to recovery!

They had to scale up the minimally invasive portion of the surgery to fit my Charlie Brown head.

The treadmill and I dislike each other equally, Clarky. However, since it's supposed to help make better grafts I'm sticking with it. I have to wear the rigid neck brace, so that makes for a sweaty mess. I have a followup visit this week, so I'm anxious to hear what he has to say.

In addition to walking on treadmill I've been doing the very light stretches they gave me to do. Think I'm going to drop one of them until after the next appointment.

There's no weight or bands/resistance involved, just simple scapular retractions. It's not in an area lines up with any incisions but on the left side w/ the scapulae retracted, I kept getting a weird sensation. It feels like someone has heated up a piece of bar stock to a nice dull red and drug it through that area.

No obvious signs of anything being wrong....no hot spots, have been keeping the dressing changed.

Might be nothing but a whiny nerve? When they cut and retract stuff I can tell they were maneuvering things just from the soreness.

Other than that everything is good so far.

    20 min HIIT
    5.3 sweaty miles!!!!

Either me or my walking buddy’s been away since 3rd week of May and our paths crossed today!!! She noted a more toned, smaller me all around with improvement in the lower waist around the back, upper abs, arms and legs. I didn’t take pics, measurements or weight so I’ll take her word for it!

I’m 7.33 weeks into the 12 week program. Once done, repeat!!

The walking is a PITA but apparently some members are only doing the off days. why. Program says everyday walking!!!!

Thank you ma'am. The treadmill does provide a smooth surface which is a plus while wearing this knuckle headed cervical collar.

It varies for me...usually techno/trip hop, but some days I'll drift into sludge. Usually longer songs.

The wife just found out about a great Thai massage parlor close by and she really loved it. It sounds tempting. Congrats on the continuing progress.

Sounds like you are settling in. Such a PITA to move. Done way to many moves in my life for it to be considered normal.

    Did you move far?

Touching base. Walking is about it. Appearance changed significantly in 3 weeks. Diet tight or non existent. Too busy to eat.

Hope all are well! Travel season starts soon…tomorrow. Take care. I’ll be back!

    Back for a stint.

I’ve had few challenges with new med plus different insurance which is negatively impacting my health.

I’m back down to “goal” weight but not fun! I’ll figure it out…I always do!!

    Take care!
