like most types of inflammation/injury, my fav treatment is oral NSAIDs, and maybe even add in some prednisolone. try to massage the painful area to decrease the tendon swelling. this should improve the range of movement.

last resort, cortisone/lignocaine injection. (dont get worried by the pic in the wiki page. its scary, but surgery is usually not required.)
Completely right AD. Wanted to let you know. Had to go to the doc today to be cleared to work. The only difference I have is that the inflammation is subsiding so I am getting movement back in the pinky finger. So he said it was tendinitis. Meaning my pinky isn't completely locked down from the inflamed tendon.

    Appreciate the help AD.

Side note looks like it will be about a week of cardio only days. Today did 30mins on treadmill....rotating inclines and speeds. Did full incline good amount of the time. Felt good. How do you think 7-10 days of just cardio will affect a cycle?

did your doc advise against weight training? should still be able to train legs right?

you might aggravate the tendonitis if you're training with heavy weight directly pressing on the swollen tendon. if you really want to train, you can try moderate weights, padded gloves, or tape up your hand to protect the inflamed tendon.

anyway, more cardio is always good. unless you're a greek god like kel

After waiting two hours for.him I didnt ask about training. He said should be fine after 7-10 days. Ill use my best judgment on lifting. I have almost full motion again. But pressure to that area of palm still hurts. Def still do legs. ...Never miss legs .

Maybe with all the cardio might get some veins like kel soon lol...probably not close though.

Okay guys, went to massage therapist and she said that my IT band and vastus lateralis are 'stuck' together. Wondering if any of you guys have ever experienced this, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Had a great day at gym! Got to meet an old pro. If I said his name u would know who he was. I believe at his max he was 300+ lbs monster. Can't believe he was training at the gym in my little town. Ive spoke with once before but this time he said I was looking good. Im hoping I can ask for some training advice next time.

On a side note, I was wrestling with the dogs this evening and my right elbow seems to be @ maybe 90%??? I started on some Nsaids (Dr. prescribed) Sunday after my arm got a little painful loading up plates for my leg workout. They seem to have helped.
Think I'll sleeve up and hit arms today. Plan to shift the skullcrushers up earlier in my lift (thanks again for the advice, Kel) and use dumbbells instead of my EZ curl bar( appreciate the feedback, Marcus).
I slept like a dead man yesterday. Hopefully that means my leg workout was a good one....calves are still painful in a good way.

Every time I get a deep tissue massage, they comment on how my IT bands are tight. I could just do one set of squats at 135 for 10 reps and my quads will be pumped and sore for a week.

Actually, last time she worked on my legs, she went to town. The next day, my vastus lateralis were so sore. But then a day after, it was like I had a fresh set of wheels. I try to go once a month or two.

    Did she recommend anything?

Albeit I have to get up at 4:30 am to go to the gym now, I have been consistent for a few weeks now. I feel great. I feel strong. I'm about to break 200 lbs again. The first time since the middle of last December. 198.6 lbs. this morning. Nothing in my life has settled down. Actually it's more hectic and stressful. But it is what it is. I'm back.

That's great to hear Cape. I know the pain of that early morning session. My alarm hits about 2:30am, but I'm sure my bed time has at least that much of a lead on yours.

Wow. 8:00 8:30 pm is bed time for Cape. If I see 9:30 I get anxious and worried. Lol.

Do you train that early? What do you eat before? And how long? Not now on your cut. But a normal day.

Honestly 8:30-9:00 is the norm for my last look at the clock. Alarm goes off at 2:30 I'm normally up by 2:45. I shower and by 3:15 I have a shake of 20g whey and 1c oats, throw a dozen eggs on to cook, prep for the day, out the door at 3:45, and in the gym by 4:30, out by 5:30 with the same shake, clock in to work at 6, 8am I have 6 eggs and drink a cup of oats back to work, 10am same meal back to work, 11:30 is lunch and I'll have leftover meat from the night before around 8oz of beef, chicken or turkey with half cup (dry weight) rice, off work at 2:30 most days and drive the 45min home, then have 6-8oz chicken or turkey with another half cup of rice, dinner is ready by 7-7:30 and I shoot for 6-8oz of meat and an equal portion of carbs (be it rice, potatoes, or pasta), bed time is normally by 8:30, and that is a normal day for the moment and what has gotten me to 180 at 5'5 with just my TRT.

    There's the difference. You're 45 min from the gym. I'm 10.
Start drinking those eggs will save time too. I like your meal plan. Not a veggie in sight. Just like me. Holy hell man I didn't remember you were 5-5. 180 lbs is awesome. Your living the life and following the dream. You're committed. That shows. Keep doing what your doing. I'm in bed already. Lol

I have a location 10 minutes from my house, but that would involve waking up even earlier for the pre workout meal since I still have the 45 min drive to work. My gym is a local chain so regardless of what side of town I need to be on for errands I have one close.

Thanks guys, that means a lot coming from you bigger guys. Outside of self motivation the forum is the only place I have for friends of similar dedication. Had a friend that wanted to train with me, but he didn't make it to leg day and the wife just doesn't understand. So it's purely me and the people here that keep my drive so high.

Rest day today. Meaning cardio only. Spent 30 minutes on the stairway to nowhere. Then 20 on the treadmill. 20 in the sauna. (surprisingly no naked senior citizens in there with their balls hanging from the top bench to the bottom one)
Chest yesterday, Had a good day. Played basketball after, This time i wore a compression band around my waste, and no back pain

Started austinites feel good stack in addition to other supps. I've been in a good mood latley so I give it a thumbs up

Same old shit, still lack of upper body, 4 weeks out for my first natural bodybuilding show.
Question, should I stop taking creatine? And should I stop train legs 1 weeks out ?

The protocols I've read say you can run creatine right up to your final week. The water weight should flush out in plenty of time
