Well I have an appointment for a whole RBC donation on Friday!!! My crit and hemo were fine... But my platelets/monocytes were elevated prior to going on, and got higher... So Ill feel much better and my NRG should be up! Glad I'm doing this now as opposed to getting a Double and having to wait longer...

It usually equals out Nach. DRBC's is just that, twice the amount are removed as with whole blood, therefore the longer wait. Last few times i've gone I did DRBC's for a change of pace and they like it anyway. Probably do the same this Thursday.

Thx Kel.... It's scheduled on Friday, do they said they will call tomorrow and if I had any changes in request they would accommodate! I totally get what you are saying though...

One thing I've been thinking about(only b/c I haven't found a doc/that takes Insurance for TRT protocols - except maybe lowtestosterone. com - but can't really afford that atm but very soon) cruising after until I can get on my protocol.... I wanted to bring this up to you guys who have much more experience and wisdom in this area!

I have all my PCT meds etc etc and also plenty of test(test e & cyp) and was going to start at about 100mgs wkly and go from there... I really just do not want to feel the way I was with my testosterone being barely over 300(was under the range prior to cycling)& it took its toll on my mind/body and miserable(shitty quality of life) for no reason! I'm really into this now for the long haul for sure!!!

Please let me know what you guys think about this?? I plan on donating every 6-8 wks(why I was thinking of the whole for shorter time periods but It does make sense that it all evens out! Thx fellas!!??.

Been having some great HIT sessions lately - 6 days a week every week! Currently doing 3-4 days HIIT treadmill interval sprints for 20-30 mi cardio as well. Calories locked in at a net (after accounting for calories burned) of 2800 a day.

My birthday is this Friday and I just got all my semiannual blood work completed. It's been 6 months since my first, my last, blast. Can you guess what I have planned to start for my big 34? Can't wait....

My first blast was with high volume training and I had great results. I can't wait to see where HIT training takes me for this second blast!

Won't be increasing calories for this blast as I need to lose some body fat around the midsection. Hoping to see my abs for first time....well, ever, in addition to adding another 10-15 pounds lean muscle.

    Legs yesterday:

    10 minutes incline treadmill warmup

    Leg Ext
    190x18
    210x12
    250x7 rp 4 rp 3

    BB Squat
    205x13
    225x10
    255x7 rp 6 rp 5

    Hack Squat Machine
    270x11
    320x8
    360x7 rp 4 rp 4

    Standing Leg Curl Machine
    75x12
    85x8

    Seated Leg Curl Machine
    120x13
    140x10

    Lying Leg Curl Machine
    160x12
    170x9
    185x7 rp 5 rp 4

    Leg Press Sled
    630x17
    810x9
    900x6

    Seated Calf Raise
    180x14
    225x9
    235x8 rp 5 rp 4 rp 3

Cool down treadmill 5 min and stretch

Please tell me any thoughts, problems, or recommendations when I post my workouts. I'm still a HIT virgin and learning the ropes.

This workout was a little high in volume, I know, but my hammies needed some love and I had a lot of energy and frustration to vent.

    225, 6', 33, 15% bf, bench 320, squat 405, dead 465.

Truly glad you made it and are here with us man.

I also suffered a similar incident in Aden, Yemen, many years back. Full recovery for the most part.

I enjoy following your posts in this forum, I don't comment much here as I'm not wise enough in the HIT ways imo to say much, but I appreciate your posts.

Thursday for me, also. Have been doing double RBC, but think I'm going to try whole blood so I can donate every 2 months.
Depends on my hemoglobin and if they are busy. If it's slow and hemo x3 gives me an elevated number, I'll continue w/ the double.

Think I tweaked my elbow moving some bar stock last night, but headed to the shop to hit a back session.

Ya Couldn't have said it any better AG!! Since joining this thread, I'm in awe of each Individual! As everyone has a place... And we all motivate each other! This has been the best thing that's happened to myself and my training! You Biggens have taught/& helps keep me strict(both diet wise and training wise!!

Also I was thinking about the whole(as my crit is 46) but so I can donate more often... But if warranted like Kel said, It makes sense that it would equal out! They'll be calling tomorrow so I can always change it to a double if need be!

    Back and tricepts today.

wide grip pull ups. 4x10 or failure whichever came first
y bar cable press downs 4x8
Bent over bb rows 4x8 205lbs (best i've done in a while)
    skull crushers 4 x8 105lbs
    Cable rows 4x8
    Dips 4 sets to failure
Chins 4 sets to failure (6-8)

Side note. I live in a resort community in the desert. My HOA fee's pay for the amenities (golf course, pool, gym, lake etc) The gym is tiny but decently equipped. Today there were about 8-10 high school kids in there just leaning and hanging out and occasionally picking up a weight. I couldn't tell what they were working so it must have been jaw day for all of them.

I must be getting old because it was all i could do not to grab these punks and drop a plate on thier heads. They all smelled like recreational drugs and just hanging out on the equipment i needed. But i think the rage might have fueled my workout even better than the old Jack3d.

Lift was a bit rushed tonight, but productive since going beyond failure. Here in SC the weather is similar to Clarky's...." a wee bit warm". Had all the fans running and the windows and doors open, but I was still sweating like a madman.

    Lower body and back stretches
    2 sets of crunches

    WG pulldown w/ u'hand grip-2 w/u, Work-7.5,drop, 3.5,drop,1.5
    Pulldown w/ stirrup handle- 1 w/u, Work- 3.5,drop,1.5,drop,2.5
    Straightjacket stretches
    Tbar rows- 1w/u, Work-7.5,drop,3.5,drop,2
Low pulley rows w/ V handle- Work-7.5,drop,3.5,drop,4 w/ a long slow negative on last rep.
Hyperextensions- 2 sets of 10 slow steady reps w/ a big squeeze @ top of the rep. Plan to slowly work up to doing these weighted.

No deads tonight or finishing off w/ d'bell rows. Was running short on time, but will get them in next time.
33 minutes not including stretches and crunches. Would have been a better time, but when changing my machine over to low pulley rows, I let the cable ride up off the pulley and had to fiddle with it for a couple of minutes.

    Everyone is giving blood,

Have one question....why the wait for 2 months or 4 months (depending whole or Double)....is it to make sure you are fully replenished before your next donation?

Anway around this in case of emergencies?

The donation centers only allow one whole blood donation every 6 weeks or a drbc donation every 120 days

they do not want you to drive your levels to low. If you need to donate more often in an effort to drive down the hematocrit level you can be prescribed a therapeutic phlebotomy and they just discard the blood

That's what irks me. I pay them to draw my blood that could help someone and they throw it away to boot.
Just did a whole blood.F-in hemoglobin is way up there (19.1), hematocrit is approximately 57.3 Gonna have to get a therapeutic draw or tap off some myself. I'm not even on a cycle yet. Just a very poor TRT. Stupid blood is already a PITA due to the Factor 5 Leiden.

I was 52% pre-TRT. Will have to self-phlebotomize or pay for a therapeutic draw. I did a double donation last time I donated and think I was around 54. I believe the 4 month interval is too infrequent since my blood has always been super-rich and I have the clotting disorder.

I like that bar. It puts your palms parallel to each other. I've heard it called a pro lat bar, a stirrup handle bar. Nice lift, Clarky.

I'm trying to, Bio. . One thing about it, I'm not anemic.

I actually do try to stay on top of the situation; especially with the clotting disorder. Rounding up supplies and may try tapping off a pint very soon.
LOL, to add to the frustration, my sister in law was a phlebotomist before she got her RN degree, but she refuses to help. I keep telling her I'll pay her to help me out. We could drain the blood in my shop and if anything goes wrong all she has to do is walk away.

They make one with cambered ends too that some people prefer, but so far, I like the way the straight one works for me .

Do a Google for a pro lat bar, Nach. It puts your palms parallel, facing each other. I tried to post up an image, but the upload bug is still acting up, I think?

I know a few guys that do it themselves and just flush it. I just can't bring myself to do that and a whole blood donation doesn't drop the rbc near as much as a drbc.
